lol and everyone thought algebra would never be used in real life... haha
For those of you who are not mathematically inclined, here is the formula to calculate the nic mg when mixing liquids:

(ax + by) / (a+b) = z

Where you have
a ml of x mg liquid
b ml of y mg liquid

After mixing you will have
a + b ml of z mg liquid

Enjoy! :)

Good Morning Everyone. I don't know how to put someone's text in here to reply (heck, I can't even get an avatar on here) But anyway - I use BWB also. Last winter when I used it I was getting rashes and I am using it again and getting rashy again! During the summer I was not using any BWB and this was not happening. I hadn't seen the connection until now.

That's interesting... so that might actually be the culprit. What flavor(s)? These are Malty Toffee (which is quite popular) and Nutty. I don't love either one of them so no big loss (had only got the small bottles to try out). I have an appt tomorrow with a dermatologist, so we'll see what she says too.

And to reply, you just click the Reply with Quote link at the bottom of a post and it does the work for you. You just add your comment in front of that or behind it.

that's the 2nd pet I've heard of recently with the name of Loki. I love that picture in your avitar, nice teeth! What is he chomping on?

Don't they? I have had Garfield for sixteen years and he is such a lovebug! My Loki, the tuxedo cat in my profile pic, is a cuddlebug, too! I have a small zoo here, with two more cats, two dogs and two guinea pigs...lol.

my personal opinion is 2 things

1 we get used to the smell like we do our own perfume or cologne
2 I think it might have to do with toxins clearing from our tongues / mouths...

OK, I'll add my mix to the equation. I still smoke cigarettes, yet I experience some of this. I don't even vape every day, but I do most days, especially like now when I'm on the computer. I still sense a decrease in taste sometimes, then with changing flavors, can go back to my favorites at a regular rate. I think it might be less of an effect since I still smoke analogs. I'm interested to see how I do on the WTA e-liquid, now that I have a carto filled with it. Is it the chemicals, the cigarette taste? What?

Another thing I want to clarify is that vaping makes me cough ore than analogs. It;s not because I gave them up and my lungs are trying to get clear; it's the vapor. Why do I cough more with e-cigs than analogs, and the higher the ic level, the more it makes me cough?

Thanks, Starsong. He's chomping on the security cord that was attached to a monitor I had. I bought the shelf model of a computer from Sam's Club and they couldn't get it off, so they just left it. lol.

O... M... G... I am the dumbest person on the flipping PLANET! You're not going to believe what I did. I was all excited about this order that I made today - I was going to use my POINTS for the first time! Yay me! I JUST realized, after spending 55 Volt points, that I could have used the flipping Valentine's Day Sale coupon code that I got in my email!!! What an A#1 Super Dork. Ugh. :::sigh::: Well, I made my case to the very nice CS guy and he said he'd ask "The Boss" if I could switch from points to the coupon. I asked him to plead my case - heck, I've made 4 orders in 4 weeks. That should count for something, huh? They, obviously, have zero obligation to help me out. I'm the numb skull. Wish me luck. Dang.

i think they'll transfer your purchase to the sale price. They;ve been known to do this i the past. Good luck!

These silver cartos will be perfect for applying the skins to without adding the extra bulk.

As for the BWB, I had nothing against them either. Most folk rave about them. I really wanted to try the legendary RY4 but since that's like catching a unicorn I opted for other flavors. Just my bad luck that I'm most likely allergic to one of the ingredients. Might even just be 1 of the 2 juices doing it. But no biggie, just go back to my usual SI flavors.

I also have someone I'm going to have try out SI/Volt. He is currently using another brand with older technology. He is the hubby of a lady I work with, so they have that same stupid problem with our insurance. He is doing 0 nic to qualify to not pay the penalty of "smoking". So I ordered the Smooth sampler in 0 nic for him to try and will lend out one of my batts and the slider PCC. Fingers crossed. :) Ordered a pack of RY4 for me in 0 nic too, just to give it a shot. I can always add nic juice to it if that's a fail.

interesting..

as far as the cough... if you stopped the analogs all together that would most likely stop...

same thing happened to me initially ...
vaping is like getting into a steam shower and coughing ...steam i feel like expands your lungs right? like don't they tell asma patients to go into the steam?

and when you have smoke in your lungs...or you smoke...you lungs are not used to being that open....

yep... just looked it up lol

"If you have asthma, your airways swell and become narrow, making breathing more difficult. Common signs of asthma, according to MayoClinic.com, include coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath. At its worst, asthma can interfere with your day-to-day activities, and can even put you at risk of having a life-threatening asthma attack."

"Researchers at the University of Munich's Institute of Medical Balneology and Climatology performed a series of tests between 1983 and 1986 to determine the effect of saunas and steam rooms on the human body. They found that steam baths can help upper respiratory problems and can improve asthma symptoms, in addition to bronchitis and coughing, by loosening mucus and phlegm and soothing sore throat."

When I first started out, I coughed too for a couple weeks. Then my body adjusted. I think the lungs are trying to get rid of the gunk from cigarettes since you are giving them a chance to heal. But if you keep going back they never will.

so basically I think it is loosening the tar and mucus for ya... when you give up the analogs... you do not have as much build up of tar etc.. and its easier to vape and not cough.... IMHO

Aak! That's as confusing as it can get! If I have to mix liquids, which I think I won't bother to do, I'll ask Imagine, the math wizard. ... Or you!

I'm having a bad vaping week :(

I believe the carto skins have pen recommendation on em... I think sharpies work the best... you also have to let the ink dry a bit before you touch em :)

You're right. It says to use permanent markers. Another thing I found is that the skin wraps and overlaps, so don't write on the whole length, or some of your writing will be covered by the overlapping part. I wrote on them when they were flat, before wrapping, thinking that would be easier.

I just wanted to make a quick note for those who are having dry skin issues please make sure to drink lots of water. Vaping has a dehydrating effect so to offset that you need to drink extra water and for those of you out there like me soda pop does not = water remember not all liquids are created equal.
Happy Valentines day everyone!!
