I won a Volt kit. I LoVe the Cartomizers! However, the batteries need improvement. One battery lasts less than a 510 but 510 kits usually come with 2 batteries for that reason. I'd also suggest making some manual batteries as well, because short life batteries drain even faster is they're automatic. You can also make a megabattery with a longer life because a Volt battery just won't get someone through a day without several charges. Wouldn't change the cartomizers though...they work really well.

Today is my 4 month smoke-free anniversary :) slightly off-topic, sorry -- that's just so unlike us! ;)

Oh and don't forget, they have Saturday hours too!

I would appreciate hearing a comparison if anyone here has tried both this 555 and the other 555. It is something I need.

I haven't been around much so I missed this, but congrats, star! :) Four months is huge. I'd say you're officially a non-smoker now.

What's the new sig line? Bolt to Volt? I'm placing an order tomorrow, and they're in my state, so once I have "test" supplies, I'll let you guys know what I think (if you care). :)

right now we have a newsletter to notify customers about new products and events :) but I will mention it to Rob who handles our IT :)

I chatted with Rob on the online chat thing for quite a while. He's definitely a great representative of your company. Very informative and obviously well-versed on the products. It's little things like being able to ask questions (I wondered if the white batteries have the rubbery finish, and whether they have the 'stripes' shown in the website image; he was able to answer both questions immediately -- the answers are 'yes' and 'no') that convince me your people are on top of their game.

Now I just have to try the products...

Hi Kelsey I am glad you are liking your carots!! as far as our batts we are getting in longer ones in about 2-3weeks, and we have plans to carry manuals as well (no ETA on those yet)....Our basic Kit, that you won, does only come with one battery, but all of our other kits come with 2. We just wanted to provide an affordable kit for those who want to try it. That being said if you are a heavier vaper/smoker you would need more then one battery per day to get you through (without waiting for one to charge), however many people will take the trade off of charging to be able to have something analog like, while others do prefer a bigger mod/semi mod to avoid the charging. Our model is geared more toward those who want a more analog like experience, but our cartos will work on other mod like batts (some may require an adapter). Thank you for the feedback though all comments keep us improving our VOLT line :)

Hi Frick, Welcome to our thread :)

I am glad you are having a good experience with our CS :). Please keep in mind our current cartos have hard end caps (but if you would like some soft ones on the side added to your order just put a request in the comments section of your order :). Our next shipment of cartos will have a new juice as well as the soft end caps (they will be arriving in 2-3 weeks)

I hope you like your VOLT and don't forget coupon code: SPRING20 for 20% off when you order

like frick, I have to comment on how nice it is to be able to get quick info -- just chatted online on the smokeless image site with a very nice CS rep named Michaela who answered my questions quickly ---
And FYI their volt PCC looks kinda cool -- and the internal PCC battery is user-replaceable, which is a nice touch. I hate buying hardware that I know will die and have to be tossed someday, so this is a point in the volt's favor to me.

That's odd. I've found that the automatic VOLT battery last longer than my manual 510s. Probably because they don't need primer puffs. I don't know. I've also found the draw much easier. I won a basic kit also, so I'm having to switch back and forth with an eGo, but I just ordered another battery for the VOLT as well as some more cartos. I'll still have my other PV's and it's never really bothered me to use them in public, but I think that the VOLTS will cause less funny stares. I'm recommending them to any newbies that I come across.

Good to see you Frick :) I knew you'd show up here soon ;) And thanks for the pat on the back too. I'll be anxious to get your review (I do care).

p.s., I'm also glad you didn't go into convulsions over my change of avatar.

Starsong, it took me a while to realize it was you since you changed your avatar. It's very nice, but I do miss seeing you. So, I'm glad you kept your picture on your profile. And yeah, I was surprised at how well Frick handled that. :)

Frick, so glad you joined us here. You can add me to the list of those interested in your review.

no nothing is soldered in our cartos. They have an non out-gasing silicone ring that holds the wick in place.
Hey Imagine, there is a thread running elsewhere in the forum atm about lead solder having been used in carts, etc....I know it's a lot to ask, but does Smokeless Image know if lead solder is being used in the cartos? I never thought about it before, but it is of some concern to me.

OK, so I just had to try out the online chat too

Michaela was great, on a Sunday no less! So for $20.02 shipped (with the coupon code), I bought a battery (had to try a white in the rubberized finish) and a pack of blank cartos. What a deal!

Wow, customer service on a Sunday....somebody pinch me! :)

P.S. Beachpuff, that IS a great deal!
