Sorry 'bout that! Geek humor. I'll 'splain.

I do not believe that these manual batteries have a cut off time as do the auto batteries. If I'm correct, "cut off" time is determined solely by how long you hold the button down and/or when the battery itself runs down.

I did some calculations a couple of weeks ago that indicated that a 3.7VDC, 280mah battery with a 2.7 ohm load would run continuously for a bit over 14 minutes (this was back-of-the-napkin stuff so might be off by a bit).

So, for a freshly charged manual battery with no internal cut off the maximum cut-off time would be right around the time the battery died, or ~14 minutes.

But I admit that I may be wrong and these manuals may have an additional cut off time. If so I am sure someone in the know will pipe up shortly.

Sorry if this has been asked/answered already, but what is the cut off time on the auto batts?

Most Manual batts today do have a cut off...I would imagine that the Volts are no exception.....

Are the new PCC's the same size as the old ones?

In case no one answers this, yes, on the outside they are the same size, I understand, but inside, you can put the larger batteries as well as the smaller ones. That's because now you screw the batteries in. This is my memory of a former post somewhere.

Anyone correct me if I am wrong (I do not have one either), but yes it is the same. You need to keep in mind because of this it will not hold a fully assembled ecig like the 65mm battery does. The extra slot in turn can hold an extra batt (with no cart) or 2 carts individually.

ok to answer the PCC questions:

it is the exact same size as the previous 65mm only PCC... the ONLY difference is the connection which is now a screw in and not a push in pressure prong....

So the PCC can hold the following:
2 65mm batteries and 1 carto
1 65mm battery and 2 cartos
2 78mm batteries no cartos
1 78mm batteries 2 cartos.

I'm a newbie, but I ordered one, and here's why: From lots of info I read, the batteries, especially the smaller size, don't have that long a life before they have to be recharged. So if you want to go out and maybe vape all day long, you will need a charged spare and then maybe even more. If you have the PCC, you can carry one charged battery in it, and when the e-cig you're using gets used up, you just switch the carto to the charged battery and put the spent one in the case. So, while you're smoking the newly charged battery, the one you just used up is charging and will be ready to go when the 2nd battery gives out. If you don't store the one you are currently using in the case, you can carry an extra carto, too, in case the one you're using gives out while you're not at home where all your supplies are. Sounds reasonable to me, so I ordered one. I like the fact that if I ever want to try the larger batteries, this new case can also accommodate them.

I tried to find a picture of something volt-ish and birthday-ish, but apparently the world hasn't caught on to the idea of Van de Graaff cakes yet.

Then I though, "Oh... 'Imagine'... duh..." and figured I'd get an imaginary cake. But really, don't we all have one of those? And besides, the cake is a lie.

At first I was hoping it was an evil manatee (well, they're all evil, but this one being particularly evil). Instead it kind of looks like it's trying to stealth vape.
