"SteelJan," "Vapian." & Everyone else . . .

Although, I really hope there is not a major problem with these, since I am not an all day "Vapor" yet and do not need to keep recharging my batteries that much - I would really appreciate if you would please keep these updates about the Mega PCC going. :thumb:

AND "Imagine" . . .

A couple of questions  , that I think the answers' to might also be beneficial for a number of people . . . If there does seem to be a problem with the Mega PCC for some reason beyond your control: 1) How long is the Warranty? 2) Are they exchangeable for the "older" model PCC?

Thanks, everyone . . . :)

Twilight Zone
I ordered the mega PCC. When fulled charged and plugged into USB, all lights eventually stay solid blue. Insert and screw in a coupla dead batteries. Wait for many hours, remove battery, find that it is just as dead as when I put it in. Have shot an email to Smokeless Image to ask where to mail it back to. Darn shame as these could be really nice.

Did you hold the black button down until the two batt lights started blinking and the led on the batt lights up?
First time I put a batt in I just pushed the button but nothing happened until I held it down. Been working fine ever since.

Crap. I already ordered a Mega PCC and it's on its way now. Oh well, glad I ordered the mini PCC today.
Out here our generators pump out 220v through English-style outlets - good thing these bits are universal voltage.
In case you were wondering, 220v does not charge Volt batteries via the included wall wart and USB adapter any faster since the plug and adapter step it all down.

EDIT: By the way, just because a company slaps a sticker with "CE" or "UL"on it on an electronic device does NOT mean it meets "CE" or "UL" standards. Real CE/UL-certified electronic products have it stamped into the housing itself or otherwise printed directly on the device, not on an easily-applied or removed sticker. Just some trivia for you...

I haven't done the experiment where I stick my batts in a USB charger after I charge them using the mega pcc yet, but I'll give it a shot. I will say that the two batts I have charged in the mega PCC work perfectly fine and so far have certainly given me what seems to be totally normal usage times. I have to say though that I'm the kind of person that sticks my batts back in the charger before they're completely dead and switches to a new batt just because I think all vaping batts perform better the sooner they were charged. And with the PCC or mega PCC why not throw them in before they're dead?

I have to say, I am with you (while I didn't get mine from SI) that I have no problems with mine, I love it. It does take a little to figure out how to get everything charging that should be charging - ie: one battery is charging already and I put another one on, hold down the little button until battery lights start charging and the one that just showed red turns blue as though it is ready and the newest one I put on turns red as it should. Now, for me at least, if i push that battery button again and hold down it will turn the battery LED red on both batteries, as it should.

Woo Hoo - a co-vaper-worker just came and got your business card from me:) He dropped his battery in the pond yesterday and needs batts, I gave him a spare to use until he gets his order. (I did however tell him a few ways to try to bring his back too but I just went and checked and his was on SI's webpage):)

love trouble shooting IT issues one of my favorite things in life...NOT lol  glad you were able to figure it out :p
Great. Right when you get the small PCCs back in stock, when I try to checkout on my order it keeps resetting the CC info. WTF?

UPDATE: It finally took. Time to go yell at my ISP about the crappy 5Mbps microwave shot they installed.

Well our policies work like this :) :

Any product purchased within 30 Days can be returned for a refund..so if you bought the mega and now want the regular slider...you would have to email us and get a valid RMA# then return the mega for a refund...making sure it has all the original packaging etc... then buy the slider separately...

Any product that is defective within 90 days can be exchanged. You would also have to contact us for a valid RMA#....any exchanges that want different color or something else of the same value...would be considered on a case by case basis.

hope that clears things up :p

To this effect.... the mega is from a different more well known factory... that many suppliers use. If anything I think it is just a more complicated PCC compared to our slider... we did test them and as with anything there could be some that are defective, but should not be an alarming amount or anything like that...I think for the most part...everyone has to release that although it can charge 2 batts at once...(or even have 2 batts connected) that it shouldn't necessarily be used that way for optimal performance. I would suggest that anyone having an issue send us an email on our contact us page to help trouble shoot...and those that are unsure if they like it...play with it for a week or so...to understand how it operates...you do have 30 days :p

I just want to tell everyone, especially Imagine, how grateful I am and how much I appreciate SI's customer service! I haven't had to figure out much, having ordered the small PCC, which works intuitively, so I figured it out on my own. But it sounds like the mega is complex enough that people need help. I just went through this with a new clock radio I bought. It has all the bells & whistles, which sounds good, but to set it up is a nightmare. The instructions don't really tell you enough, so I tried to contact the company that makes the darn thing. First, I e-mailed them, and I got an e-mail back repeating the message I sent to them, so I e-mailed back to tell them that, and the reply did the same -- repeated! So today I phoned the company, and I had to hunt the Web site to get the phone numbers. I got connected to someone who helped me figure out how to set the clock, but I could tell he was losing patience with me. I kept thinking, "The people at SI wouldn't be like that!" And there's this forum where everyone can help! The comparison is a stark reminder of how exceptional SI is, compared to other companies, when in an ideal world, this kind of service would be the norm. Thanks, Imagine and everyone else at SI who make your customers so happy, even when things don't go just right!

I missed such a perfect opportunity last night -- out to dinner with friends and afterwards was the "loiter outside the restaurant" smoking time. They already know I vape but I haven't been able to convert them (yet). Along comes a lady with her friend and she asks us for a lighter. I said "you should use one of these instead". At first she's like, yeah I want real smoke. I go "like this?" and exhale a cloud, then demonstrated & explained. She was amazed and totally interested -- but alas I didn't have any cards with me. I told her to go online to Smokeless Image, so hopefully she remembered the name once she got home. Gonna put a handful of them in my purse right now.
