Can I get that added to my SI signature banner
th_laugh.gif
Thanks for that Starsong.

And as far as "fluff", I see no fluff here.....maybe if I were to do this
spacecraft.gif
when there was no specific alien abduction talk, that would be fluff.

Or maybe if I included these
th_1lg140tornado2.gif
th_SmileySnowAngel.gif
when we weren't talking about the weather, that would be fluff.

OK, I'm done now ;) Just couldn't think of a time I'd get to use those. Yes, yes...I know
smartass.gif
couldn't resist.

(Sorry for double posting)

St. Dymphna is the patron saint of those suffering mentally and/or emotionally. It sounded to me like you are really in a bad spot right now, and I know how much that kind of emotional pain su**s.

YEA - although I'm not a "Christan", I know all about her . . .
And remember, I'm a counselor in Behavioral Modification ;) . . .
Ironic ain't it :D

P.S. Last week not to good - dealing with Flooding from "Irene" & "LEE" (who I thought i missed living here in Florida) while I was up North and had to deal with some My Friends and My Own Personal Emotional Baggage about 9/11 while I was in NYC this past weekend - So Thank You, again for the personal thought and encouragement - it is very much appreciated . . . Okay, now everybody go - "AHHHHH ! ! ! " I will really show you some "FLUFF" ! ! ! ;)

Okay this is way off topic . . . However, given the recent discussions and this past weekend's 9/11 Memorial Events . . . It is something I would like to share with everyone that I have kind-of-adopted as a "mantra" (so to say) that was sent to me and I edited for my use as a counselor in the volunteer work I do in "Behavioral Modification" and the "Bereavement Support Group" I created and run (Again, Imagine - if this not appropriate or you would like to me to remove since it is so "Off-Topic". . . Please just let me know and I will delete it from the thread) . . .

'I wish you enough.'

And when, 'I wish you enough,’ I want you to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain you . . .

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more.

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive & everlasting.

I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger.

I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.

I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them; but then an entire life to forget them.

What a lovely sentimental lyrical piece of writting uncle! Thankyou for posting it. Glad to see u are home safe. I have noticed that i haven'nt welcomed any of the newbies here, but only because i dont see myself as a long standing member on this thread to do so. Sorry....
Welcome ... :)
I know i promised a photo, its still coming, just not till tonight. I did however manage two more poems, only 4 more to go. a lil of topic but volt related :p Yesterday after work while waiting to go home ( i work for the public transport sector) i took my volt out, and it was hanging from my lips, happily puffing away while sending some sms's. Not a care in the world and for once felt completely as ease using my pv in public.... There was this man smoking a little bit away from me looking all confused... I didnt realise till i got on the train that it was my raspberry volt with white led that was getting some attention... The moral to my story is that, im comfortable using my volt in public and i will share information when asked, i still have to be careful as to work rules but as talked about before soooo many people are still in the dark about pv's.
I think i read imagine say all juice liquid should be in stock on monday - to whoever asked ( im bad with remembering names)
I too am really excited to see what this new pcc will look like - cant wait.
Have a good day, for me its friday!!!

Well - I am back and now have a computer at hand to actually provide a post . . . .

First and foremost, I would like to say HI ! ! ! to the new members of the Smokeless Image & the "Volt" thread . . . As most people have already mentioned, WE ARE a fine group of very different people sharing our "LIKE" of everything that is "Volt" . . . and Thankfully - "Imagine" does allow us to socialize with each other and share information (even things that are not Smokeless Image related or from other "vendors' as she has mentioned in previous post) with each other . . . That in itself is what makes this thread so GREAT ! ! ! !

We join together here to discuss, not just "Volt" and about "e-Cigs", the product line, and what's NEW and upcoming to Smokeless Image - but to be informed about our community and what is happening with each other. I have found most everyone here to be caring and quite supportive about each other, especially though all the trials and tribulations of Transitioning into the "Vaping World." And no QUESTION or Answer is ever considered unnecessary or out of place - someone is always here to share their experience, wisdom, and their own opinion (which some may or may not agree with).

NOW - I would really like to put something to rest finally, especially since it has been posted before and SO WE CAN FINALLY MOVE ON without rehashing it Again & Again ("Imagine" - my apologies - Please let me know if you want me to delete the following text) . . .

Since, I am the one who is the culprit and the one most egregious with the "FLUFF", although I have explained it before and defended myself also in a blog post . . . Just in case anyone is bothered by “My Guy – ‘Fluff” (as someone who has been so bothered by them and without-a-doubt has been so rude about it, has now called me out again) . . . YES it is a MAN and not the Women of the Smokeless Image Thread that is adding the “Fluff” . . .

The actual reason I use “smiley” and “emoticons” in my post is for one reason and one reason only . . . Right now, I’m not doing to well getting “On-board” and Transitioning into the “Vaping World” . . . the way I feel emotionally, mentally, & physically, especially with my “anxiety” and being so "frustrated" about "vaping” and still “smoking” (Yes - I am still smoking cigarettes), putting in the “Fluff” and using “similes” and “emoticons” is the only fun I'm having at the moment . . .

So, please forgive a "Grumpy Old Depressed Man" like Me . . . for trying to pull himself out of the doldrums by having a little FUN ! ! !

YES - I am a "Newbie" at "Vaping" and “e-Cigs” – I really haven't been able to start full time yet (and have even stopped a couple of times - MY BAD - but I am finding this very hard for ME to do).

But I am still trying and in so doing, I am still learning a lot of stuff about the process, equipment, etc. that's why I'm here a lot . . . Also, I find the "Socializing” at ECF and more importantly, on the Smokeless Image thread quite pleasurable and very helpful to calm my "anxiety" & "frustration" trying to find that WOW!!! flavor and learning what I need to get into all of this . . .

So while I may be a PIA for some people and bother them - I am still new to all of this and I am doing the best I can to stay connected to those who are sharing their expertise with me to help me through this phase . . . SO PLEASE - just try to bear with it . . . or as it has been suggested there is a way to ignore My post . . .

Hope that explains it all for ya . . . AND - can we just "All Get Along" and more importantly . . . PLEASE MOVE ON ! ! !

P.S. Just one "Emoticon" . . . View attachment 53801

Uncle, I'm in sort of the same place. I'm still smoking but trying to get the hang of e-cigs. This evening, I finally got the idea (I think) of how long to draw to get a good throat hit. I was not drawing long enough and getting very little, then drawing longer and getting so much I was coughing. I think we all have to think back and remember long ago that we went through this learning curve with cigarettes, too, and just figure it out all over again for e-cigs. I'm not depressed about still smoking -- I refuse to be! I'm just taking it as it comes, vaping when I feel like it and having a cigarette when I feel like it. Whenever I vape instead, I just think, "That's one less cigarette." I don't want to make this a stressful endeavor, nor do I want to be burdened with guilt. It'll come in time, I think.

I hope this helps you, Uncle, since I feel pretty good about doing both and am still excited over discovering vaping as an alternative and learning about it.

It does help to hear your story, as was the many others who have shared their trials and tribulations . . . I was having the same problem with the draw so much so I timed and counted how many draws of one of my "analogs" (Funny- but yea gone that far) . . .

However, maybe I should not have used the word "depressed" to repersent what I am feeling and going through right now, but it was the only word I could come up with at the time . . . I'm more fraustrated than anything else, I just expected more - which of course is the worse thing to do for anyone trying to make a transition and break a "Habit" or an "Additiction" . . .

Actually, I'm doing the same as you are, still trying and keeping my original goal in mind to reduce my additiction to "Smoking"" and if I can "Stop" smoking all together - Great ! ! ! ! If I smoke a cig - I smoke a cig, I'm not going to beat myself up over it nor am I that depressed about it . . . I've just been in a "reset" mode (quoting "Hoosier" who mentioned that in another thread to a friend who is also facing the same problems as me) . . .

My biggest problem right now is, even with the generousity of so many people here on ECF & here on the SI Thread, who have made suggestion - sent me samples and recipes (which I haven't treid yet till I get all the "stuff"), I still haven't found a "flavor" I like or the "One" to go to as so many have (I really don't like the food ones) . . . I've even gone so far as to get the "menthol" crystal - that are quite strong even deluted (BOY - Talk about a TH and having to be careful). That's what is fraustrating me so much.

Once again, I am going to try them all and see what they are like now after sitting awhile . . . AND - Once I do find the one flavor I can go to - I know I can start to get my head around the rest of this . . . Matter of fact, I was lucky enough to win another big battery "Kit" that I am going to be "dripping" with to do a taste test again of all the "Flavors" I have . . . or until till I can get some others, especially some more of SI's newer stuff . . .

Till then still "plugging' away . . . SO, Again - Thanks (and everyone else) for the encouragement and support . . . AND - of course, I'll keep everyone informed how it goes . . .

That's odd Ozpchris. Lax's quote showed up as mine in your reply with a quote. I've had good luck. Two drops max or you'll get wet fingers lol.

I'm guessing he quoted your post then deleted some of the quote...
I just couldn't get my cartoatty (is that a new term....can I claim the name ) to work. First one I tried I removed all the filler including the wicking, oops. Second one I managed to leave the wicking but still never got to work particularly well, lots of mess with very little vapor and even less good flavor. I've resorted to dripping with 901 attys for taste testing and had very good results...so I'm not drippingly challenged ;)

It's downright exhausting crafting a smiley-loaded post with just the right feel and composition. I'm not sure I've got the energy
Occasionally I just can't help myself tho. There are so many smileys that I'll never have good reason to use I just gotta sneak them in when I can :headbang:

I messed up the first one too, pulled everything out. But my second attempt worked and the carto-atty worked great. Till I rinsed it out to remove the old flavors. Now it won't work at all. I'm going to pick up a 901 atty to use. I've seen others recommend them and you say you had good results too. I wish I could get to where I had enough "winners" that I didn't need to try new juices all the time. I wonder if anyone ever gets to that point.
