Ummmm...okay, I think I must have misunderstood.....ummm...did you want him to be fat???? If you want him to be fat, then fat he is  Fat and Fluffy :)

Diabetic? No fluff??? I have to admire your resolve. I don't think I could do it....I'd find a way. I love my peanut butter fluff on graham crackers! It was my favorite snack when I was a kid. Hmmmm gonna have to see if I can DIY that flavor;)

I wish I could get to where I had enough "winners" that I didn't need to try new juices all the time. I wonder if anyone ever gets to that point.

You NEVER get enough winners!! Gene has some GREAT  tobacco flavors (as I think you know. :p) But like some other flavors that aren't tobacco, like Grape, ;) once in a while. My tastes change all the time so will ALWAYS be out a lookin'.

Hey folks; please forgive me for just jumping in like this, but I'm in a bit of a bind: I ordered 2 78cm manual batts, one for me and one for my neighbor that I've introduced to vaping. She has a V4L starter kit and I have a V2 starter. Neither of us can get our new Volt batteries to charge on our existing chargers--all of which were purchased in the last 6 months and all of which charge the V2 and V4L batteries with no problems.
We both really liked the Volt batteries...until it was time to charge them. Are we going to need to order charging dongles from SI? Is it likely that two different colored manual batteries are both defective? I wouldn't think so. Both batts have been left on to charge for 6+ hours, at least once.
I suddenly feel like such a newbie; please help.

I charged my Volt with a V2 charger. It turned orange instead of green and the LED ash on the Volt just got VERY dim instead of going all the way out like it was suppose to when charged.

The first time it didn't seem to charge quite all the way and I had left it on overnight. After that it seemed to do fine in a normal amount of time. About 3 to 4 hours. Still turned orange instead of green though. I had a shorty auto at that time.

Got a Volt charger dongle when I ordered a standard batt later. Both batts are doing fine so didn't seem to hurt them by charging on the non-Volt charger. Was told it might though. :(

I have the V2 also and yes, it is a good batt but the Volt is much better. The big difference is the Volt is a regulated battery and keeps a constant 3.6 charge pretty much until it needs to be charged again. So batt is different and may charge better on one that is made for it.

Believe me, it's worth having to get another dongle if you need to. :)

Yay, CatLady's here! Don't tell them over there that I've been hanging out here now :)

You'd be much better off getting some SI Volt dongles to charge (just the dongle though - your wall adapter would still work). You can keep using your V2/V4L dongles in the meantime, but it would take FOREVERRR, and still wouldn't charge them all the way, which isn't really great for the battery. I think there might be something different about the internals/brains/motherboards of these new-gen KR808s that don't like the old-school stuff. Same thing happened when I tried to charge my EVW batt with my V2 dongle.

WELCOME! It's fun over here!

The James Bond of the feline women, love it. No apologies for an on topic question  We just like to chit-chat until a good question arises.
The problem is more likely the chargers than the batteries. I can't speak for the V4L chargers / batteries cause I've never used them but one thing to try would be to wiggle the center post of the charger with tweezers. The goal is to ever so slightly raise that post, and I mean fraction of a mm could do it. I've got one that I have to do that with because I don't pay attention which charger is which. Different companies seem to use a slightly different spec on the 808 connection so the height of that center post will differ just enough to be a PITA. I'd really recommend just picking up a Volt USB charger to save the headache. Any time you use a different companies battery you'll probably have to adjust the charger and it's not worth the effort for a few bucks.
This is just my guess and opinion, messing with chargers or batteries is at your own risk...

Best of luck.

That's what I was afraid of. :( I really like Gene's Bounty Hunter. I find I like tobacco flavors if they're slightly sweet and don't really taste like tobacco. ;-) Grape seems to be well liked, I'll have to give it a try.

I now have 3 juice stashes. The ones I vape are in a box on my desk. Another box for those that are 'okay' once in a while. The third box is the 'only open in a dire emergency.' 8-o

Hi all and thanks for the welcomes,
I just found out that the MadVapes juice I have been using to refill with, is not 80/20 PG/VG, but 40/60 PG/VG instead. How does 80/20 compare? The only 80/20 I've had is the 12mg Smokeless Image Sampler cartos I originally got with the kit.

Cheers,

Kelly
YAY, we didn't scare him away! :)
When I did 40/60, I wasn't getting any satisfaction at all! For me, it was like sucking on a straw. I had to hit it a little harder to "feel it," which made me choke. There was plenty of vapor, but the hit felt kind of light. Also, I had to clean my cartos twice as often. I do 80/20 now, and so far so good. The vapor isn't as billowy, but you still get quite a bit to blow out, and to me, it feels a little more substantial. Probably better for the cartos too!

So it's an interesting coincidence that we are talking about what chargers will work with the Volt.
-- My usb dongle stays green and won't charge a very dead battery - LED never comes on.
-- I never had a problem using my original v4l charger, but now it won't work - charger light stays blue all the time and LED doesn't come on.
-- I used to be able to use the Riva charger if I put on the adapter, and now it won't work either.

What the heck is going on here?!? So for now I've got the slider, plus the mega and my original v4l pcc called out of retirement. Just don't understand why none of the 'home' chargers work anymore. And I did try a couple different batteries, and tried lifting the center post. Nada. Guess I'll be ordering a couple new usb chargers now. sigh.

OK, I know we're cutting down on fluff, but can't help it - I'm enjoying tonight's dinner so much!

Veggie cheeseburger with potato chips scrunched up inside! YUM! Am I the only one that still does this? (trick from the grammar school cafeteria) Crazy, right?

Back on topic, Chunky Monkey ice cream vape for dessert! :)

UGH, that's like my worst nightmare (not being able to charge)! Hope you work it out, and let us know what happened.

Let's see........how many mL does each blank SI carto hold again? I'm thinking it was 1.2 mL,.....or am I just remembering that number from the atty I bought off of MadVapes?

Would I be wrong in assuming that the prefilled ones from SI contain that amount? Or are they a little underfilled to prevent leaking?

Has anyone ever did the math, and figured up if it is cheaper to buy blanks and then a big bottle of juice to fill them yourself? Or are the prefilled ones actually cheaper after all is said and done,...which would seem to go against traditional reasoning?

That being said,.....I've got some 36mg strength juice coming tomorrow! Let's see if between this juice, and manipulating the battery cutoff timer, if I can get a little bit of a headrush now!

Cheers,
Kelly - aka - CosmicEnergy (which is actually a Led Zeppelin reference BTW) Let me throw a little fluff in for good measure......any Zeppelin fans up in here?
