Maybe someday if SI has a crazy sale... I'll try all the flavors... Just so I know what they're like.

Just as an FYI: It may not be as "crazy" View attachment 53956 or something to View attachment 53958 as the 24% off sale that SI had a few weeks ago View attachment 53957 . . .

However if I remember correctly, "Imagine" did say the "SUMMEREND" sale (which I think is 21% off) would still be valid till Monday - which is not too bad of a discount really if you think  about it :D - I know if I had the extra money right now I wouldn't even  - but be View attachment 53959 to the SI website myself . . .

Again, just a thought and an FYI for everyone that is interested . . .:)

I wonder if the whole charger thing isn't about regulated batt vs unregulated batt? That nifty little board that regulates the voltage may not like a generic charger. Don't know this so it would be a good question for somebody more tech savy than me....like maybe SteelJan or Vapian?

Just popping in to say "Hi!" to everyone! This has got to be the friendliest, most congenial place on the entire Internet - all of you are positive, up-beat, and just down right likable!

Uncle, I also enjoy "fluff" ... must be a Florida Guy thing - I sure took advantage of the 21% off sale - just ordered a few more of those magical cartomizers ... although it is easy to remove the soft rubber caps, I really enjoy the drip end caps -

PS: in an earlier post I incorrectly credited a "Michael" with excellent chat assistance on SI's website ... that commendation should have been for the delightful Michaela

you can do it if you call in the order :)

Just thought of something... I wish we could order a mix of flavors and still get the bulk price when it adds up to a total of 10 cartomizer packs. I think if it was like that... I'd definitely try all the flavors from SI. I guess one could order 10 packs of the samplers, but it still doesn't offer the flexibility of being able to pick and choose.

Rave, that is so nice of you! Since your empty carto still works after rinsing out I'm going to try another one. Then if it dies on me right away, I'll PM you about the 901 atty. I hope I'm not sounding ungrateful, just thinking of saving you the hassle if I can get an empty carto to work.
Don't worry - you certainly don't sound ungrateful. Just let me know cuz the offer stands.

I'm slowly becoming resigned to the fact that I may be becoming a juice junky. Was really hoping there was a cure. Everytime I read a review on one that sounds like my kind of flavor, I just have to try it. I've found some good ones that way, but some go in the emergency box. If there's ever a dire emergency, I will be prepared!
Ha ha - Been there (and still am). I found that the ones that are reeeally funky enough to be only acceptable in a dire emergency can sometimes be fixed by blending with some of the others which are equally unpalatable. Fr'instance: If you had a caramel that is just too weak, you can mix it with a tobacco or chocolate that is just too strong. All of a sudden you have a very vapable mix! Some of the weakly flavored nicquids that I have collected I end up using as a nicotine base for my own recipes. Better than letting them go to waste. :p

Like your "World" ;) and nice "sig" :) . . .

"I am strong because I know weakness, I am compassionate because I have experienced suffering, I am alive because I am a fighter, I am wise because I've been foolish, I can laugh because I have known sadness. I can love because I've known loss. I have weathered the storm but still love to dance in the rain!"

EDIT: P.S. If it is alright with You - May I quote you, in my work, some time in the future?

Thanks Uncle : ) My world is a unique place : ) The quote is not mine, it was posted in my amputee support group. The unknown must have fallen off when I was trying to get the quote to fit.

“Fluff” Alert : In the ‘60’s and 70’s, I was more “Folk” at the time (think: Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Carol King, Joan Baez, Judy Collins, Jim Croce, etc. – I really enjoyed “True” Rock . . . So as for “Led Zeppelin” (You’re how old ? ? ? ?) besides “Kashmir” :)thumbs: "Rave" - an absolute classic “rock” and a “Fav” of mine too), how about their first “Jim’s Blues” (as the “New Yardbirds”) and one of their best albums “Houses of the Holy” and one of their most popular songs, “Stairway to Heaven” . . .

(HEY – you never know who likes what – I was even a Hugh fan of music from the 50’s “Doo-Woop” and “POP” classics, “Movie Musicals” (from the 20’s-60’s), “Broadway Tunes,” and of course “JAZZ” . . . I know “sick” – very “sick”)
FLUFF ALERT: Plus one on Judy Collins, Jim Croce, and Joan Baez, but I draw the line at show tunes. Nah.

After reading starsong's post I'm beginning to think maybe the Volt batts eventually kill the other brands chargers instead of the other way around!!! :D Volt is just to strong for the other brands to stand up against. :p

Has anyone tried charging a V2 or other brand with the Volt dongle? I'm afraid to try it!
I did it with the green-LED dongle, no problem. It also worked on the new blue-LED ones with the Volt logo, but acted a little weird when it was fully charged (batt LED kept blinking). I don't think I'll be doing that again...but yeah, there's definitely something different about these newfangled batts and how they handle power.

I think the only bad thing that can happen to the Volt battery with these other dongles is that they probably won't charge all the way. I think I read somewhere that eventually the unused part of the battery liquefies and hardens into a plate, and you're permanently stuck with that shorter charge time. Plus, who wants to wait 6+ hours?

Thanks for the pointers. I've been reading posts on the forum about mixing to improve flavors and I've starting trying it....very hesitantly. I've also been getting interested in DIY and need to start searching the forum to get an idea of what is involved and what's needed to get started.

I've been DIY'ing for years mostly because so many of the nicquids that I tried tasted too weak for me. It's a LOT of fun - but you'll find that you end up being a flavoring junkie instead of an eliquid junkie. I have an entire kitchen cabinet devoted to my DIY flavorings and supplies. Then Smokeless Image comes along and blows my home-brewed grape out of the water! Then - they get me addicted to their RY4 and Watermelon. No fair ...

Here's a good place to start. It's the eliquid recipe calculator and storage program that I use. Downloadable from Post #1.
