Did you notice this on the main accessories page?
NOTE: We only have Black in Stock at the moment. White should be coming in shortly. As this is the first run of these, we'd love to hear your feedback on this style of battery! Enjoy!

Yes, I did indeedy. But what it appears that I missed was this:

But yes limited color sealed batts came in on Friday ... So any colors you can select are in stock... They will be shipping on 10/11 as tomorrow is Columbus day and we will be closed

Shucks! I just ordered, and now there's a sale. Sigh! You can't win them all.
I believe the only smooth finish is on the silver/chrome battery. The others that have that metallic-like glow to them (like the red or dark blue) are rubberized. I don't have the yellow or light blue so can't say for certain, but I believe they have the rubber finish too.
I put one of the thicker animal skins on a black (rubberized) battery. It fits in the PCC snuggly, but fits. Fits in the USB charger too. Only thing I couldn't do was use another brand's wall charger where the battery actually goes inside it a bit, too thick for that.

I could be wrong (as I sometimes am), if I remember correctly when the other "SUMMEREND" Sale went into effect that happened to someone else, and again I am not totally sure - however I think "Imagine" told the person to call CS first thing on Tuesday (or possibly open a ticket) and they would take care of it . . . I'm sure when "Imagine" - gets "computer access tomorrow night" she will confirm this

Thanks. That means I could cover any battery, not just the silver one. That's what I needed to know. Maybe with this sale, I'll take a chance on a few more of the old-style batteries. If I like the colors, I may keep them as is. If I'm not too fond of the colors, then I could cover them with a skin later, when the skins are being sold.

Hi ya folks, i have gone into hermit zone lol. After a long hair pulling wait , the postal service delivered my package today. Not my first order but the second???? There are some airplane strikes going on here, never the less at least i got my cappuccinnoooooooo sooooo happy. I banned my spending, but sheesh cant go past a sale. Imagine you are too good to us. I hope you are still making money. Not complaining just totally appreciative of the discounts you give us. My orange manual also came in, and the colour is unreal. Cant stop stareing at it. Wow - Sold out on the 65mm chrome sealed autos already! Ah well, I can wait.
BTW - DM's skins that I tried are variable thicknesses. There are a couple that I used on the rubberized finished batteries that don't fit in the dongles. I can get them in the slider PCC, but it's really snug. When in doubt, I'd stay with the chrome for skins. They are the only ones that don't have the rubberized finish.
