Hello, just a friendly reminder for those who haven't already signed it:

(these all take you to the same place)

We're still 1,123 short and we're running out of time (by 10/27). If we don't make it this time around, I just heard that they're raising our required signatures to 25,000 (instead of the original 5,000 for this one). Sucks, huh? That's our government!

I've been emailing my non-vaping friends too...

Hey people. I recently (3 months or so ago) entered the world of vaping and after starting with a 901 and EGO-T I decided to pick up a Volt. So far very happy with these and, after trying the sampler packs, I recently picked up some Cappucino, Cherry, Desert Joe, Watermelon and Ice Menthol Cartos, as well as a reduced battery.

Had a 901 PCC which I have been using with the Volt battery. Since the battery is slightly longer than the 901 battery is causes the lid to not close properly. While I'm happy enough with this at the moment, I'll probably be looking to purchase a Volt branded PCC at some point in the future. This leads to the question, what's the news with the new PCC SI are planning on releasing? In what ways will it be different? Was also wondering if it is possible to buy spare batteries for them so you can have more than one just incase you run out?

Overall I'm very happy with the flavours currently on offer, but obviously I won't compain if they add more :) My only complaint is that the Blank Cartos are the same price as the pre-filled ones making it quite expensive to stock up on them. I end up just buying prefilled ones because I like the flavours, even though I'd like to fill them up after with my own liquid afterwards. Tried washing out one and filling it with a Banana flavour but the taste isn't great :(

Anyway, just wanted to say hello! And will appreciate any advice.

Thank ya

Those are great Rave, exactly what I'm looking for. I don't think either of the ones I was looking at would have produced the results I was looking for. Glad I asked and I appreciate the responses. Thanx.

@ Wuzzntme - Here are Volt with the P-Touch labels (gold on black). As you can see on the two grapes - I was able to position "Classic" above the graphic of the grapes. You can move things all around or size them however you want - graphics or text. I've got some labels on my DIY bottles with four lines of text. They look a little blurry because of photographer error - lol.

They were Dymo Cindy. Same company as those cheapo embossed ones that have been around since Noah was a deckhand. They had several colors to choose from and are electronic but I don't think they hook up to the puter. Got some graphics built in but limited. I had no idea labels had evolved into this. Older I get the less I know. I think Office Depot is going to be my friend today. Or maybe I'd just be better off spending the money on the SI sale this month since I'm not handy at computer graphics and such. My creativity and talents are all limited to woodworking.

Wuzz, you saw the Casio ones, right? If I were you, I'd make sure the refill tapes are easy to get for that one. Brother P-Touch seems to be the most accessible - might be better to try to get one of those cheap online instead. They usually give you sample black on white tape to play with - the real fun comes with the refill tapes, where you can pick different color combos and widths. Black on clear tape on our black cartos probably wouldn't be a good idea.

The one Rave is talking about is one that hooks up to the computer: you do actual graphics on included software and print it out like you would on a regular printer (it's basically a mini-printer). This gives you the added functionality of adding pictures, reversing type, etc. So if you wanted gold type on black tape, you could reverse your image so that the black prints that way on the gold tape. If you wanted your labels to look like Rave's, you might have to go this route. Otherwise, you'd be getting black type on white tape (or whatever color tape you end up getting). I think she uses the PT-2430PC... Get it? :)

EDIT: Actually, I don't even know if the included software gives you the power to reverse the image (to get it to look like hers). That might be a Photoshop thing that you have to do to it first...but sure is pretty, right?

You really don't need to be handy with computer graphics for this. There are a lot of black and white images out there - such as clip art and a lot included in the software as well. No need for reversing or anything fancy. On mine: anything black in the image comes out gold. Anything white comes out clear. Easy squeezee. :)

BTW - Your reason for editing: Really!?!?

Welcome Fade2black101 - And glad that you're enjoying your Volt! Our fearless leader, Imagine will probably be responding to answer your question about when the new PCC that is in the works will be available. I believe that it does have a replaceable battery design. Dunno for sure.

Lol - Instead of washing the prefilled cartos out (which I never seem to get around to doing), I'll often fill right on top of the remnants of the existing flavor. That banana might taste pretty good in a used Desert Joe carto. BTW - You've gotta try the Grape and the RY4, and the 555 gets great reviews as well.

Rave everytime you show us your batts i drool...lol the last photo has been my phone's lock screen for a month.. Its just so pretty. I will not be joining this round of sales... I have enough carto's to last me a long while. Something funny did happen though. Either the carto's magically got stronger in the mail or more coffee was added to them in production?? But i can now taste the coffee :( its not bad its just different to what they tasted like the first time round. I though maybe cos i vaped it day and night it was me, but i went through a carto from everypack and they are all the same. I do however have a bottle of volt juice here and its like i remember so its all good. I got to try the cherry and i like it.

Really on the edit. Try it. I would think a nickname for Richard would be ok but I guess I don't think that way. Somehow Moby Richard just don't sound right lol.

Hey thanks for your response. I've tried all the flavours because I got the 3 taster carto packs when I first got my Volt. Was never a massive fan of the grape flavour but SI's variety is much better than the perfume tasting one I bought as a liquid from another vender. Personally I go for the less sweet tasting tobacco flavours which is why my fave are Desert Joe and Freedom and Cowboy. Do quite like the others but I've noticed there's less of a throat hit with the ry4 and 555. The same can be said of freedom too but I suppose you can call it smooth and yummy.

Basically I can't justify buying blanks when for the same price I can get some with a yummy prefilled liquid, even though I'd like to use my own juice without having to wash t out first which arguably dimishes the carto from that point onwards.

The sale is gonna have to go on without me too. Since I officially retired a couple of weeks ago, I'm on a fixed income. Those batteries are all that I'll be able to get for a looong while until one dies a tragic death. No more stocking up for a rainy day - It's rainin'. Thank goodness I have no other current obsessions to go all OCD over - lol.

Congratulations on retirement but maybe not the fixed income part.

I am pretty content with what I have for the time being (even though I lost my orange 65mm in the port a pot last weekend)

Should be set for awhile:)

SS Disability (for the MS) is an EXTREMELY fixed income - but I'm tickled that I don't have to deal with the stresses of the workplace anymore. UGH!! - Death by port a pot! Now that IS a tragic death!! *blech*

This has been asked before. SI priced the prefilled the same as the blanks...not the other way around...so you are basically getting the juice for free. If they were to change the prices, the prefilled would be more.

BTW....how are you cleaning your cartos?

Congrats on the retirement Rave. I don't remember you mentioning that 2 weeks ago (did you?) which would have been cause for a big party! As far as the extremely fixed income, if you ever get low and both supplies & funds, I'd be happy to help out and know others would too.

Wish I could retired tomorrow. But I have to cling to this job as long as I can, a minimum of 6 more years before I'm 62 (good grief where did the years go?)
