Ah that makes sense then. Never thought of it like that before! They're still a good price, especially compared to UK vendors. it's just annoying that the shipping price and delivery time is longer to get to the UK. Therefore I tend to order in bulk and it seems like a lot of money.

I've only washed out one Carto. I just rinsed it with hot water a few times then left it in the hot water for 20 mins and rinsed again, then let it dry overnight until the next evening. I've seen and read about boiling them but I've also heard they may have more adverse effects than just rinsing. I'm not sure which is the best method and only recently started using cartos. Any tips and personal experiances would be appreciated.

Also, regarding the new PCC, I was merely curious about how it would improve over the old one and whether the replacable battery was a known model and available to order online from somewhere.

I've been retired for 5 yrs now on fixed income but my wife still worked. She retired early last year. Now I've got twice the wife and half the money lol. So totally worth it. We're havin a ball.

The sale is gonna have to go on without me too. Since I officially retired a couple of weeks ago, I'm on a fixed income. Those batteries are all that I'll be able to get for a looong while until one dies a tragic death. No more stocking up for a rainy day - It's rainin'. Thank goodness I have no other current obsessions to go all OCD over - lol.

Welcome to the thread and the world of VOLT Fade2black101

PCC questions:

We have spare batteries on hand now if anyone needs them, but they should last a long long time....as they are cell phone batteries.

The new PCC will have a similar replaceable/removable battery but it will have more mAh/be able to charge more VOLT batts :)

The new PCC will be relatively the same size as the slider PCC, but will hold more.

Can't say much more then that do to competition reasons...

It has been delayed a few times, first by us to get the design perfect, then by the factory waiting for the right battery and circut boards.... then they forgot to send it before thier last 5 day holiday so we are actually about to receive the first physical sample in a few hours!!! once we test it and make certain notes on minor changes we will order it for mass production.... which would take about 3 weeks to get it on the shelves :)

Hey people. I recently (3 months or so ago) entered the world of vaping and after starting with a 901 and EGO-T I decided to pick up a Volt. So far very happy with these and, after trying the sampler packs, I recently picked up some Cappucino, Cherry, Desert Joe, Watermelon and Ice Menthol Cartos, as well as a reduced battery.

Had a 901 PCC which I have been using with the Volt battery. Since the battery is slightly longer than the 901 battery is causes the lid to not close properly. While I'm happy enough with this at the moment, I'll probably be looking to purchase a Volt branded PCC at some point in the future. This leads to the question, what's the news with the new PCC SI are planning on releasing? In what ways will it be different? Was also wondering if it is possible to buy spare batteries for them so you can have more than one just incase you run out?

Overall I'm very happy with the flavours currently on offer, but obviously I won't compain if they add more :) My only complaint is that the Blank Cartos are the same price as the pre-filled ones making it quite expensive to stock up on them. I end up just buying prefilled ones because I like the flavours, even though I'd like to fill them up after with my own liquid afterwards. Tried washing out one and filling it with a Banana flavour but the taste isn't great :(

Anyway, just wanted to say hello! And will appreciate any advice.

Thank ya

I'm also going to remember to stock up at the end of this year, because the first of the year there are some really long Chinese holidays and production/shipments shut down. Last year that left the unprepared vendors, and us, desperately waiting for shipments. Hopefully this time they'll all plan ahead a little better. I wasn't aware of SI back then so don't know if they suffered the same way other vendors did (or if they they were in business yet). But Jan/Feb the shelves were empty for other vendors.

WOW! You guys just about made me cry over your kind best wishes for my retirement!

Thank you sooo much! I was able to get on SS Disability on the first try because SS takes multiple sclerosis very seriously. But - I promised my boss that I would train my replacement which took several months. I was working for peanuts during that period so that I wouldn't be disqualified.

I guess I didn't mention that I had officially retired. Did I ever tell you what I did? I was a CAD Designer for a monument company. My specialty was creating designs for diamond hand etchings and/or laser etching. People would tell me for example - They love dolphins and sailing in their sailboat that has red sails. This is what I came up with:

Here's another for one of our heroic fallen countrymen. The eagle on top was sculpted out of solid granite.

But now I have my dream home that I designed and my husband and I built (with no mortgage) in my own little wildlife preserve here in the woods and the time to appreciate it. Life is good. :p

Thank you all again!

blanks and prefillds are the same price...except when buying in bulk

1 prefill : $8.95
1 blank : $8.95

10 prefills : $8.29
10 blanks : $7.49

The reason for this is getting them filled costs us pretty much the same as the blanks oddly. So we priced the prefilled cartos pretty much the same as our blanks so you can get free juice :)

Hey thanks for your response. I've tried all the flavours because I got the 3 taster carto packs when I first got my Volt. Was never a massive fan of the grape flavour but SI's variety is much better than the perfume tasting one I bought as a liquid from another vender. Personally I go for the less sweet tasting tobacco flavours which is why my fave are Desert Joe and Freedom and Cowboy. Do quite like the others but I've noticed there's less of a throat hit with the ry4 and 555. The same can be said of freedom too but I suppose you can call it smooth and yummy.

Basically I can't justify buying blanks when for the same price I can get some with a yummy prefilled liquid, even though I'd like to use my own juice without having to wash t out first which arguably dimishes the carto from that point onwards.

I'm not usually on here in the middle of a work day, but I had taken it off to go to the Harvest Festival at the Ventura fairgrounds - arts & crafts & food. But then ordered the phone and now I have to cool my heels waiting for FedEx to arrive, so that blew this day (12:15p and still no delivery). So I'll go tomorrow, and be armed with a fistful of SI business cards as I stroll thru the crowds happily vaping away. :)

Wish my order would get here. Today was estimated delivery day but U.S.P.S. fell short. I gotta wonder if some of their employees aren't causing delays and extra mileage to make it look like they can't do without them. I've got a friend who's been a mail carrier for years and he's running scared right now with all the cuts.

My post office is literally across the street from me. I wonder if I could gain a day by having a P.O. Box and get orders sent there instead. Maybe it would get put in there the day before rather instead of waiting for them to load up a truck deliver to my home - and my street is one of their last stops, mail comes around 4:30p.
