I don’t really have time to give a full review just now, but I just got my Volt today and I’m really excited. The first battery lasted 4.5 hours and was good to the last puff!! That’s what I’ve been looking for! I’ll Post more later..

WOOT....very exciting!! The Volt and SI are awsome!!!! Havn't come across another company with the 808d batteries and prefilled cartos that is as Awsome as it's Products.
Enjoy and look forward to your review!!! :vapor:

The Wolfman .. the one with Anthony Hopkins and Benicio Del Toro not real scary but the effects are cool as hell.

And cant forget about -Van Helsing -Kate Beckinsale in that outfit is -- :p

Oooh - I love anything with Anthony Hopkins and haven't seen that yet. Speaking of Anthony Hopkins, how 'bout Silence of the Lambs and another fantastic thriller The Edge?

Welcome to the state of Voltatron. Volthead.. Voltee... Volter... or what ever Voltadage you want.:toast:

You gonna fall in love with your volts...

I only have 4 of them so far but the sale they have on bats is very enticing to get one or 4 in all the flavors.. 4.5 hrs is great. Im a heavy Volthead and I get around 3.5 out of mine before the vapor and taste drop off.

One could spend a while catching up on Hopkins films. Although it comes from a completely different angle, I feel Elephant Man qualifies in the psychological department. Shouldn't forget Magic either, if anyones seen it.

Okay, and believe I already used up all my Halloween Contest entries, so will post this last one here instead...

If my PV dressed up for Halloween it would, well... look kind of like this:

HalloVolt.jpg

Because it knows I don't really like refilling Cartos, and it apparently thought that would be helpful.

Of course, we all know how well this plan goes... :(

That's frickin AWESOME!

Good Morning View attachment 58398

Yea - Last night was FUN ! ! ! We missed "You" and a number of others last night . . .

AND since there was not much being asked or discussed about SI products and the "Volt" . . . :(
We kept the conversation going and the discussion did turn into more of a "FUN-fest" of sorts . . .
Welcoming some new members to the thread and welcoming back some people who have been away for awhile . . . SO - Everything discussed turned into a conversation just about US - The "Voltians" ! ! ! View attachment 58400

More importantly, with SI being closed for the weekend and "Imagine" being kept busy - Thankfully with all the frivolity and "Flufff" I think we were keeping the thread going strong . . . :D

Hopefully, next time "You" and some others who were missing will be able to join US ! ! ! at the View attachment 58401

NOW - I could not agree with "You" more - really dislike "Slasher" and/or "Horror" Movies . . .:nah:

Give Me Sci-Fi/Fantasy anytime  . . . As for some of "My" Favorites the list would be so long and take up too much of the thread that it would have to re-named - which wouldn't be right . . .

So let me just say that I have over 400 DVD's  and the majority are all Sci-Fi / Fantasy View attachment 58403
However, what favorite movies that first comes to mind right now - besides most any "Star Trek" Movie (except the first one) - are "Cacoon" (1985) and "Batteries Not Included" (1987) . . .

HEY - Maybe when we all go to "Raves" for the "Annual Volt Vapefest" next year we can bring some of them along and have a "movie" night too ;)

Oh, yes! I remember Cocoon and Batteries Not Included. Great movies!! :) My family and I enjoyed the Star Trek movies. Hubs likes The Wrath of Khan the best, and I like the newest one (the prequel). My youngest son loves the Harry Potter series.

I love the fluff sessions. It makes this thread much more lively and interesting! :)

I love scary movies that provide a little comic relief - such as: Signs, Tremors, Sixth Sense, Jurassic Park. But I also like anything that will scare the bejeebers outta me. (and I don't have many bejeebers left!) Mirrors had me a little freaked out for quite awhile. But mirrors freak me out anyhow, and I avoid them. It's a tad creepy when your reflection isn't there. BTW - Alien - Not a good movie to watch while you're in labor. Just sayin'.

:lol::lol::lol: When I was pregnant with my oldest son, I used to joke with my coworkers about an alien popping out of my stomach. I wasn't laughing when I went into labor, though. Oy vay!!

Did you watch Lake Placid? It had some scary parts, but I found myself laughing more than cringing. Mirrors was an excellent film.

Not a bad little list you got going, but you at least need Vertigo and/or Psycho on there. Oh, and the Exorcist. Maybe When a Stranger Calls... ;)

As far as beyond frightening, psychologically geared, non-slasher (well, in the classic sense at least...) movies, two will always stand well above the others in my mind - Apocalypse Now and Se7en. Both are gorier then what ya got listed, but ohh the suspense and depth of mind tapped...

What about Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory? (the original, not the recent nonsense) Its a rather freaky "family" movie if you ask me...

Agree with DebW on the Tim Burton mention (well the older Tim, not the new stuff as much sadly) - basically the king of Family-geared Fantasy/Horror. Sleepy Hallow and Beetlejuice must be mentioned, but I will also always have a soft sport for Mars Attacks!

I enjoyed both Psycho and the Exorcist. Those were great movies. I'm surprised I didn't remember them when I was making up my list. Beetlejuice is good, too. I've yet to see Sleepy Hollow, Apocalypse Now or Se7en, so I'm going to see if I can rent them on Netflix or Amazon. ;)

I'll have to check out The Wolfman, too. ;) My favorite Anthony Hopkins movie is Silence of the Lambs. He made a stellar performance of the creepy Hannibal Lecter.
