hey peeps. watchin sunday night football here tonight and feeling pretty good thanks to some segrams and coke. wishin i had a volt. i was waiting for xmas to see if i dont half to spend some of my own money. u know money for xmas and all. but im just hoping this can give me the throat hit im looking for while drinking. im sure most of u know that drinks that when u drinking u usually want some serious nicotine to go with it along with a throat hit. will this do the trick?
Hi Guys - first of all, I love, love, love the Volt. I quit analogs completely, and I never thought that would be possible. I do,though, have a couple of questions and I hope this is the best place to ask.
First of all, I've been trying to order white batteries with orange LEDs (either 65 or 78mm) and I never find it available on the site. Have they been discontinued? Out of stock? When will new ones be available?
The other question is about the USB passthroughs. I've ordered two. The first one was automatic and it failed on me within one week. Instead of going through the return process (which is probably cumbersome as it entails me shipping the merchandise back to the vendor and then waiting for a new one). And so, instead of returning, I ordered a new one. But this time it shipped as manual, not automatic. I'm not sure if this was my mistake, but I didn't notice an option to select either manual or automatic. Anyway, I'm ready to try again and order an automatic passthrough, but, I don't see anywhere on the description whether it's auto or manual. Can someone tell me how I can ensure I receive the automatic passthrough before I order again? Thanks ahead! Vape on!

Sorry you're having passthrough troubles - SI has the best customer service I've every experienced. Please get in touch with them, they will definitely be able to answer your questions and make it right.

Hi rtr720! I get pretty darned good throat hit from 18 mg and I imagine that 24 mg would kick me into the next county. Smokeless Image's own nicquids are 100% PG which is great for throat hit as well. Hope you get your Volt soon!

It was a fun project to tackle, but just for grins. There is absolutely no way I'd ever make these to sell. Too many hours to make, too much work - And I'm toooo lazy!
... I imagine that 24 mg would kick me into the next county...

The only thing I am going to tell you is you missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime here if you do not contact SI Customer Service - it is not like anything you have ever had to deal with before . . .
First of all - from my personal experience (THANKFULLY, not often, but I think twice it has happened and minor incident of a "mix-up") . . . that if something is not right with an order you got and/or it has anything to do with one of their products and it falls within the warranty period - THEY WILL FIX IT . . . all you have to do is submit a ticket on the website or call them and tell them the problem you had (or to speak with them to place an order and make sure you get that automatic passthrough). . . Matter of fact, again from my experience - Customer Service will send you a replacement for the product in question and a return label/envelope for you to send the original product back to them . . . ALL AT THEIR COST ! ! ! (Although, they do send you an invoice with a shipping cost for their records - which I did not know the first time it happened) . . .
Now, you gotta admit - not only is that "Easy-Peasy" . . . IT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE ! ! !
BTW: The Gang that are in Customer Service are REALLY GOOD . . . Pleasant, and will go out of their way to assist you and help ! ! !

Yeah customer support is one best that I have used. They answered my questions in matter of hours. They are even willing to give help me and give me a custom return label so box is as discrete as possible. Real top notch folks, now just cant wait for my VOLT.
She is fine but has ALOT going on in life right now. She checks her PM's but that's about it for the time being.

The Volt USB dongle charger does a fine job at charging the Volt batteries. Actually, the amperage regulation is in the USB dongle, not in the wall wort. The wall wort is putting out 5V like any USB wall converter does and is going to be rated at least for 500mA, the standard for USB. So what I mean is, lots of folks are trying to charge their Volt batteries using USB dongles from various ecig suppliers intended for old-style weenie-vaping 808 batteries and these simply do not pass enough amperage to fully charge the Volt batteries, perhaps under 100mA. The Volt USB dongle charger is rated at 150mA, plenty to fully charge the Volt batteries.
Would love to hear your stories about premature deaths of your IMR batteries. I get lots of hate-mail on my review of the Helix among other things I've said about the IMRs. I'm reminded of how my uncle always told folks that he used pennies in his fuse box and his house never burned down. My philosophy is that each person takes his/her own risks, but at least they should know what those risks are. Bet your bippy on that one. LOL!!
Thanks for the info, SteelJan. I am ordering the dongle, 5 empty carts, and a 2 batteries (1 auto, 1 manual) from Volt today. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I will give an honest trial, it would be great to have a no futz PV to carry around. As they say "here come da judge" lol.
