So very sorry to hear that Eleanor! I feel for you! My mom (also back east, NY) died Sept 18...1 day before I could get there. I did go back for the holidays this year and it was still hard on everyone. You'll be in my prayers!

I see that proudlion gave you a link and you asked over there but didn't really get a clear answer. When you placed your Volt order, what exactly did you get? Any kind of charger at all? If so, then just wait til it all comes and try the battery on your Cig20 and see if it works. If so then you have 2 chargers, which isn't a bad thing. If not, then toss it in the "old stuff" pile to use as emergency backups
What do ya'll think about this: my DH has always been somewhat amused by my vaping. He is a pall mall reds smoker - about 1-1/2 pck a day. When I got my Volt, I let him take a hit off my Freedom carto - and he was like, wow. He could not believe how close that taste to a good analog. But he was still not convinced, even though he brought a guy over to me at a party to explain the Freedom and the Volt and where to get them.
Yesterday, before heading off to work I was vaping some Ry4 with my coffee and DH asked me what it was ... he said it smelled like bacon!
All this must have got him to thinking (always dangerous, LoL) and today he tells me he wants me to find him an e-pipe! 
So I've been researching - they are expensive and out of stock, is what I have found so far. I did find one site that amazingly sells a kit for under $70 and it uses 510 cartos ... hours of research on ECF and google today .. This has got to work for him!

Yeah, I think that will be the plan. lol I am waiting for the Pink or Raspberry Volt to come back into stock. If I a gonna do this I am gonna do it right the first time. lol
Has to be an e-pipe? Why not just stick to Volt stuff and look for a good pipe tobacco e-liquid, like Barb from Washington DC ("hesmyeverything") is doing with her hubby? It would be a lot cheaper, wouldn't it? And from what I've heard about 510 cartos, Volt stuff might be a little more trouble-free. Barb's adventure is just starting - she just ordered some e-liquid from a couple of places, and we're waiting to hear how it goes...stay tuned.

Rob wanted an e-pipe too, but when I did all MY research, what I realized was that e-pipes, while really (truly) cool and neato, are very expensive to purchase and very expensive to maintain (if they die, you have to start all over again!) and in the long run, don't do as good a job, overall, as the Volt. When I showed him what I came up with, he agreed that the Volt made more sense, since he was a cigarette (not pipe) smoker anyway (like your DH). He decided to just go with the Volt and some kick-.... nicquid! I've been researching pipe tobacco nicquid and have ordered a bunch of different flavors from several different U.S. juice companies. Like with any other flavor, it will come down to what he likes best, which is yet to be proven, since we don't even have the orders yet. I'll keep you guys informed. I am SO psyched for you and your DH! How cool that your (very smart) decision has helped him see the light!
Someone help - what is "steeping?" I know what it means with TEA, but I'm clueless when it's applied to nicquid. Just let it sit for a month, or do I have to DO something to it?? Help! LOL
I don't have enough supplies to have him wait a month to try what I just ordered. I will have to make other arrangements. If I buy a bottle of the Ice Menthol liquid from SI, it's good to go as soon as it gets here, right??

Oh hesmyeverything - I can answer about the menthol ice: it is GOOD to go right from the bottle, no steeping needed for that one. It got me off newports right off the bat. I'm vaping it as we speak

When I steep, typically I just open the bottle, close it, shake it up a bit and put it in a dark place for awhile, at LEAST a week. Some pple take the cap off overnight, but I haven't seen a difference with that. So Mainly it's just patience.
It was harder for me to let them steep when I first started as I only had a few flavors, now I have so many it doesn't matter so much...and I make sure to order my favs early enough so they can steep before I run out.
And again, if you can't wait long, and he/you don't like it...put it away for a few more weeks and try it again, you'll be surprised at the difference time makes on some of these fresh USA juices.
And yes, the SI juices come from China so are well steeped and ready before they get to SI and then to you, particularly the pre-filled carts.
Intellicigs ecopure rich also does not need steeping and truly mimics the experience of an analog cig, It has a very fresh and clean taste...very unique, and all VG. I recommend trying a bottle from them as well (get the Rich, not the regular), it's one of my favs, intellicig-USA.com.

Like esoterica said, yeah, just let it sit in a cool, dark place for awhile (nicotine degrades quickly with air, light and heat). I wouldn't leave the lid off overnight though (because of the nicotine degrading). But I think shaking it often helps it steep a little faster - after all, you're trying to get those little flavor molecules to wake up and blend with each other. Agitation helps that (learned that in Chemistry class!). Some flavors are OK with very little steeping - the only way to tell is to try it (every 4 days is my magic interval). But if it doesn't taste as good as it should when he does, then yeah, patience is key. Have some SI stuff for backup while you're waiting - with all the time they spend stuck in customs, those are always good off the bat!

Wow, you're tough! Even SI's 12mg blows me away - their nic is potent stuff!
I am waiting for pink and raspberry as well to add to my collection, got a cart full of stuff waiting for them, hope they are in soon.
