I have just been surfing around ECF and looking at all of the hype surrounding the variable voltage stuff. I started out with a Provari and while others love it, it just wasn't for me. I think the Volt provides great vapor, okay th, and good battery life. So what if I have to carry a pcc with me and some juice? I just don't understand why people are so vehemently against KR808 devices. It's like they consider them to be a "beginner" model or something. I get the same amount of nic that they do, so I don't understand. Can someone please enlighten me? Seriously.

I feel ya! I started out with a 808 a long time ago and figured that all the little skinny ciggs were a wast of money so I bought into other style batts and honestly, I was still not satisfied. Then sometime back on another vaping hunt, I had seen vids of SteelJan and heard / read reviews of the Volt and gave it a try. That's when I first discovered this thread after that, I sold my ProVari to buy more Volt goodies
Long story short, not all kr808 are the same... So I learned. Night all!

My grampa got his friend wanting a volt now!! I told him i would help him get it, Hes like 70 and has prostate cancer and his dr. told him he HAS to quit (obviously) so he wants to try the volt! Its awsome when new people wanna try it!

If that happened to me I'd be sleeping on the couch for a few days (shudders). I had a traumatic experience a long time ago - was pulling back the sheets down toward the foot of the bed, and out crawls the mother of all spiders - it was the size of a small tarantula Creeps me out to think I might have just crawled into bed and stuck my feet down there. 8-o

yes it was easy once i got the backing off the sticker LOL! I put the battery right on the edge very lightly and found it easy to lift it back off it was a bit crooked. It was fast to apply once I had it centered right on the edge then just roll it up

I just wanted to follow up on my question about the new ohm rating of the SI cartos... They are fantastic on a Lavatube at 4.2 volts with an 808 to 510 adapter.

I am guessing they are removable but I don't want to try it until the battery wont charge anymore It might not stick again once its been removed.

Actually it worked for me once - retried the skin on another battery after a day. But i wouldn'nt recommend it. Because the skin sticks really well, when you go to remove it , it stretches and becomes wrinkly/ at ends. Oh Megabee im so excited for you !!! Although you made me laugh chuckle-- all is good.
Some great new voltie pics. A big mention to the "pre voltie" who overcome her urge to not buy ciggies and found a blu to get her by( <-----big achievement right there!!!

You can get away with a silver batt for a guy... Good choice on the camo skin its unreal!!! I have it too.
Im in decisions about the new pcc, i really want one but also know i dont really need it now that the usb port came in. Ahh decisions. Think ill get me some more carto's need to revist chocolate & menthol burst

I got my pink drip tip from Liberty Flights. It's a 510 Celluloid drip tip. It was before SI had their comfort tips, which I do want to try!

I must have missed the pic. ( I will go back and look. I wanna see the drip tip. where did you get it from?

Hi BlutO welcome our cartos were initially 2.8 ohms they are a little higher now...to work better with higher voltages as well as with the VOLT 3.6 regulated volts... they do perform best at this voltage.. 3.6-3.7 volts...

are you using VOLT batts?

When did this increase happen? My last batch of cartos are unvapable as they are too cool and causing me to hack on every vape. I've had to go back to full-time analogs the last 2 weeks because I couldn't vape at all. I guess I'm gonna have to get a VV to continue using the cartos or (GOD FORBID! DON"T SAY IT!!!) get different cartos.

Oh the shame of it all!!

I'm not being hard on myself. I did what I had to do. Didn't exactly have a choice since I use/own Volt exclusively. I blew out half a lung before going for the analogs. The Volt was right for me. I love the draw, but I have to have a warm vape or it's not gonna work.

Would rather have a normal form factor with a little higher voltage. Don't mind if it's 510 as long as an adapter would work with the volt cartos. I need this one for work and on the road. I can use the "mag-light" at home.

Don't know of anything off the top of my head. I guess I haven't ordered cartos in a while, and I thought they were perfect like they were. I wish they hadn't changed anything. I hope the new ones I order are okay. I will continue to think of what you could use. I guess the only thing cheap would be a box mod from Madvapes. Hope you feel better!
