Hoping to get a shipment notification email from SI today. I'm dying to see what the copper batt looks like, especially after hearing how nice it is. I also ordered a gold one as well, just to see what it looks like.

Hey ya'll!! I've got LOTS of catch-up to do, but thought I'd give you a Rob update, while I'm going through the pages and pages of posts I've missed.

Can I just tell you... My husband is SO odd. In trying to open him up to the idea of "other" flavors, he was pretty steadfast. He's been a menthol smoker since the dawn of time, he wanted menthol vape. OK, so I hunted for the right menthol vape. He didn't like any of the ones he tried prior to the Volt purchase. Finally found Ice Menthol - which he's been vaping since - He likes it, but turned his nose up at Menthol Burst. Whatever - to each his own. I told him all the advice that friends here on ECF have given me about not closing his mind to all the cool (non-cig) flavors, but he wouldn't budge. Then, my niece, who had been inspired by our vapor journey, gave him a coffee carto to try. He loved it!! That opened his eyes to the idea of finding a "Grampa's pipe" tobacco juice. You will remember my dutiful search from a couple of weeks ago... In the meantime, I got a bunch of juices in sample sizes for him to try - but I stayed away from the dreaded sweet stuff (especially FRUIT! Eeeeeeek!), which he swore would be a waste of funds. When I realized I had to steep all the juice samples for a month, I quick like a bunny ordered a bunch of SI cartos and some Ice Menthol liquid to stave him off until he could start taste testing. I also, on a whim, ordered a set of Sweet Sampler prefilled cartos from SI, knowing he would make faces and refuse to even try them. Lonnnnng story short, guess what I'm ordering, as soon as possible????

VANILLA - "OMG, this tastes GREAT, what IS it???" later... "I could vape this vanilla all day, every day."
CHOCOLATE - "OK, YUM. I like this a bunch, order more."
CHERRY - ::: puff, bigger puff, really long pull ::: "I can't believe I'm saying this, but I really like the cherry, order more of these three."

Of the Grape and the Watermelon, he said "Doesn't do a thing for me," but three out of five ain't bad!!! Yay! This discovery will get him totally off analogs, I KNOW IT!!! Wooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooo!!!

Everybody says that "taste is subjective" so I definitely won't blame you if i don't like it! It sounds sooo good! i really like the smokey part too!!! I might try it!!! Thank you!!!

Definitely worth a try, I am going to order the smooth sampler for my husband soon, he is trying to quit cigs but he's having trouble finding a flavour he likes. He wants it to taste as similar to the real thing as possible.

I'm not Holly, but I love the chocolate. Lots of people have described it as like cocoa, but to me, it's like dark chocolate. It's not real sweet, not milky tasting like milk chocolate, IMHO. I really like that dark chocolate, smoky flavor. In fact, I wasn't prepared to like the chocolate at all, but it came in a sampler pack, so I gave it a try. This is why I'm sold on the idea of getting samplers and trying out all the flavors. You really can't predict which flavors you'll like best.

I agree with you about the pleasant surprise you might find by trying sample packs!!! My all-day vape is something I wouldn't have expected! The chocolate sounds just right! Thank you for sharing!!

I hope you will let us know what he thinks of the tobacco flavors because i spent quite a bit of money trying to find a tobacco flavor I liked a couple of weeks ago and I liked none of them so I gave up my search. I was looking for one that was as close to a real regular cigarette too.

Have been ghosting this thread since I signed up here...still building up my anticipation until I can finally place my order - which should hopefully be tonight.

As someone coming directly from analogs (unfortunately hit a proverbial bump in the road lately and had to buy a pack I feel so dirty)...any specific flavors and/or sampler packs you guys would recommend to me?

I know flavors are totally by preference, but just wondering what would be the best move for someone of such a high n00b level.

That would be great!! I love pics! I know you'll figure out your phone! New technology can be intimidating(like using my webcam for the first time to take my SI picture!) but once you know how to do what you want to do it's easy and cool!

I know flavors are totally by preference, but just wondering what would be the best move for someone of such a high n00b level.

Just get one of each of the three sampler packs. I never liked RY4 before this one - had I not got a sampler pack I would have never tried it.

Yes!!! That would be great!! I could especially use it for those sudden strong cravings that just come upon me where I need a higher nic level to satisfy me. A plain 'ol tobacco flavor would be great!
