Whoa! SandySu, the 'Cleaning cartos' PM you sent me.. the first method suggests heating distilled water, this can potentially be pretty dangerous with literally explosive outcomes. Without explaining the science too much, distilled water can become super-heated (very hot without boiling) and once an impurity is added (which is anything added to the water in our case a cartomizer) the water will then boil over intensely.

The message you sent says to heat the water in a microwave for about 3.5 minutes. I'm not sure if this is long enough to super-heat the water, but I just wanted to offer a warning, don't want anyone to get burned.

Here is a video of superheated distilled water from a microwave: Superheated water - YouTube

Thanks for the warning! I remember this happening to coffee once. When I added sugar to it, it foamed up like that. Weird! It was at my brother's house. I doubt he used distilled water, but maybe it was purified enough to do it? But wouldn't the coffee in it be an impurity?

Yes, the coffee would have been an impurity. Only distilled water alone has the ability to superheat.

Well, I have a confession to make...You may have not realized it but we have a 7-9 hours time difference, so when I say good morning, I am not completely honest since in Greece is already afternoon :) But I really mean it from my heart!
Having said that, good afternoon everyone! Hope you have a great Saturday night!

That is very sweet of you!!!

I am not pushing down or sucking hard or anything. No different than I would be doing a cig. LOL Can ya'll see this?

Okay, I could even see if it was old and just wore out. BUT I have had it a week! Is this normal? I have another one that is pink satin metal I like too, but that one was my fave. Loved how it felt on my lips.

I'm so sorry about that! What material was it? It looks like glass from here, and i guess glass expands and contracts with heat?? Or is it acrylic or something else? I can't imagine acrylic breaking like that! Wow! I had a wonderful acrylic purple one and I dropped my batt with drip tip on the floor in my kitchen and it broke in half so I had to pry the bottom half out of the carto! Despite these difficulties I still love my drip tips! :D

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening Volties from around the world! Its sunday morning here 10am. I hear you all about procrastinating!! OMG I have my last assessment to finish and its been sitting here for 8 weeks waiting for me to type it up and post it off... I got all the others in on time if not early but for some reason I cant get myself organised to finish this last one LOL!! I need to do it as I have passed all the others and its for a Cert 1V in Social Housing and means a promotion and wage increase! You would think that would be enough encouragement wouldnt you? Somehow I just lost my interest/energy in it lol. Probably a lot to do with my hectic life over christmas and my adopted daughter's behaiviour recently.. Oh well.

You cracked me up with the comment about the sniffer dog and my parcels!! Too true though out of every parcel so far the dogs could have sniffed and caused me strife it was the one with no liquids lol.

Anyway today I really am going to clean my house and finish my assessment. WISH ME LUCK!!!

Have a great weekend guys/gals! xoxo

It was a Pink ribbon swirl drip tip from Good Prophets. It's plastic.
Drip Tips Ribbon Swirl

Pretty disappointed right now. I also have this one in pink...
Drip Tips Colored Anodized Aluminum

Anyone have a place they prefer to get their drip tips from?

They are (were!) both so pretty but the aluminum one is gorgeous! I don't think you'll have much of a problem with metal. Here is where I got (and am buying again since it broke!) my favorite drip tip (B5) Big Belly Acrylic Drip Tips Since they are all unique my last one didn't have the dark purple on the top like the picture but had a swirl throughout. At the same site they also have some ones I really like for only $1.99!

If you've only had it a week, I think it must be defective. Why not contact the company and explain what happened. If it was SI, they'd replace it, but this company may have a different standard. No harm in trying, though.
