Attention: For All new "Volties" . . .

It is strange so many people are having a problem with the batteries they've gotten - but it does happen and thankfully not that often - it even happen to me once . . .

NOW - Remember Your Warranties . . . AND Not to "Beat a Horse to Death" with the same old information: A simple search using the "THREAD SEARCH" Option ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ using the word "Warranty" or "Returns" would have found you information concerning returns when any Smokeless Image product is found to be defective . . . however, once again thankfully does not happen often - but does happen . . .

Now - just to make it a little easier for you, here is a link to the same information you should know concerning returns, as I posted before on 01-30-2012 which was only a few days ago and I found by do a "Thread Search" (hint hiNT HINT ;) ) : http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...okelessimage-com-thread-1730.html#post5168487

AND - What You Thought I Was Going to Copy and Paste the Whole Post Here For You Again Like I Did The Last Time - Nope - Nada - Not Gonna' Happen - Not this Time . . .
(I even thought of not providing the link either)

Lexi is doing great ! She finally has a new ball that she can't seem to destroy. That's a major feat! She has learned to heel without the leash now and has a backpack for hauling vape mail. Life is good. :)

Everyone who meets her falls head over heels in love with her. What a sweetheart. Man, I reallllly lucked out!

I'm curious as to why you have dozens of batteries. I hear most have 3 maybe 4, I could even see 5, but surely by that amount, the rest can be charged to keep a person in a cycle of never having a non charged battery even with heavy vaping.
Are they all just diff colors and diff led's? Or does the charge capacity diminish quickly and you keep buying more that hold a longer charge?

I'm about to order and thought 3 batts would be sufficient and reading that you have dozens makes me a little nervous.

Why so many?

Well, hmmm ... This is embarassing. I'm a flavor junkie and have 10 flavors going at once - each with two dedicated batteries of different colors. One each attached to the carto and one of each as a charged replacement. So, that's 20 total. Also, I'm disabled from MS, so it's a pain to navigate from room to room with my collection. I have another 20 battery setup in my living room and PV's of various other types in other rooms. There - I said it.

My setup of 20 looks like this:

Hello dear Volties!!! Guess what! Yesterday my dad bought my stepmom a Volt carrying case! She has a mini 510 ecig from a trial offer and the battery is 87mm long but I measured my case and it'll fit perfectly with room to spare! We bought it on my account so I get the points! :D I haven't seen a carrying case online anywhere that I like more than my Volt case! :) Have a great day everybody!! :)

Hi Uncle!!! They didn't send me a replacement with a return envelope like they did for your defective battery. That would have been great if they did!

WOW ! ! ! I am surprised about that and that is what happened to You . . . AND - I'M sorry :( to hear that, especially if the battery was under warranty . . . Now more importantly, since I provide this information to everyone . . . Maybe when "Imagine" comes alone she will address this and she what she has to say and hopefully confirm the post as I submitted :)

My experience has been nothing but positive. Half of mine are the 78mm's and half are 65mm's. All are automatics, but only a few are "holeless" autos. The only times that I've had them die is if I was a bit sloppy and got nicquid into the the unsealed autos. Perhaps three fatalities total. I've not experienced any diminished performance that I've noticed, and these have been my all day vapes (until bedtime) since I believe spring of last year. Maybe I'm wrong on that but I think that's about when I started using Volts. No other battery that I've ever used has come even close the Volt's reliability or longevity - and I've used 510's, 901's, 801's, other Kr8's, etc., so on since I began vaping in August of 2009.

Just ordered my Volt pro starter kit with the mega pcc v2. Kind of excited..kind of nervous. My buddy got his today. I tried it. Iffy at first but I just couldnt put it down. The only thing is that it had a weird plastic smell to it. Pretty sure it was the plastic tip on the carto that was throwing me off. I'd like to get a drip tip but I don't know about the SI drip tips because they are a flexible rubber material (as stated on the site) and I really want to avoid that smell/taste. What drip tips other than those designated for KR808's will work with the Volt? Any drip tip suggestions?

Hi!!! :) My favorite drip tip is from MadVapes! They have really good prices and some nice looking tips! Here's the link to the page of their drip tips: Dripper Tips
Also, you can have some fun looking at other vendors for different types of drip tips! Stainless steel, acrylic, ceramic, aluminum, pyrex etc!!! :D A lot of times you will see drip tips offered for 510 (and 808 won't be listed), but MOST 510 drip tips work with our Volt 808s. :) V4L has some really nice ones specifically for 808s. Here's the link: Vapor King E-cig accessories :: Wall, auto and USB Chargers ::... Have fun! :) Welcome new Voltie!!!

Mornin Gee and Retriever. Just catchin up before I start breakfast. Sunday I cook and wake my wife up when it's ready. I don't know what the rash of battery problems is all about but I hope yours come in good. I had one defective one when I first started and they said send it in. The switch was hanging up and burning the cartos. The replacement came quickly. I'm using the same batteries I started with back in July last year, daily, and haven't noticed any diminished performance. I don't have any of the sealed batteries but I bought a few more of the unsealed ones when they were closing out on sale. I gave my niece a kit with the older style and she hasn't had any problems either. Recently I helped a friend start vaping here and she's got the newer ones with no problems. All of these are autos.

Hi Wuzz!!! :) Thank you so much for sharing your good experiences with Volt batteries! :) P.S. Making breakfast for your wife and then waking her up is really sweet!

Thank you for the wonderful report Rave!!!! I especially like that the Volt batts out-performed all the others you've tried! I'm totally confident that after my battery bad luck is taken care of, that I will really be happy with my Volt batts!

Sorry to hear that you guys are having trouble with batteries. Are they just the manuals? I've never received a bad battery from SI (and I literally have dozens) - but then, I never order manuals. :(

These are the "New" Sealed Auto batts. Atleast thats what i have, and beine new products im figuring there are a few bad apples in the bunch.

Retriever, Cherry Vape drip tips fit on your 808 cartomizers???!!! I just sent them an email the other day and asked them if they would fit(since MOST 510 tips work with 808s) but I just got an email from them yesterday saying that they won't fit.

Yes they do. I use them all day long, every day, on every carto.

Any 510 drip tip will fit an 808 carto. (they're tight at first, but they are on 510s too. After you use them a while, they loosen up enough to get them on and off easily)

Yeah I can completely understand having an assortment of colors and what not. That's what I'm assuming is the case. 8 months is plenty for a battery. Can't ask much more than that. It's just there's been some recent posts of battery problems and one only lasting a month and some not lasting at all. So I just thought I would make sure. I'm not too worried and think I'll be placing an order tomorrow.

Thanks for your insight though

Please dont let my post put you off of ordering a Volt, Its extremely wonderful. I just got a bad batt for some reason. again, Youll love the Volt, trust me it took me a month to settle on it. All the while i used an Njoy with $22 replacement cart's Ugh /facepalm.

Mine are autos. I'm convinced it's just beginner's bad luck now and that all this will get straightened out and I'll be a happy camper!!:vapor:
