No probs. Note that the coil is seated VERY high on those pics, but that worked great for me as well, just found that it was even easier to build, with the coil pretty much all in the well
Did it improve throat hit?
Yeah mine is pretty high too. Just the legs of the wick don't match up to the screws for some reason so i have to have the coil sit in the well and then slightly move it up etc

Didn't really notice any difference. Then again, I only vape 6 mg and at about 10 watts, so not exactly a heavy vapor, I'm more in it for the flavor.

Exactly. You need quite a large amount of cotton - like double the width of the coil.
If you roll up one end to make a point and push that through the coil, then gently pull on the pointy end, while pulling back a bit on the "fluffy end", the cotton goes through pretty easy, through the miracle of stretching it
After you get it through, fluff those sum'b####es up!

When you've fluffed it up do fold a bit of the cotton down in to the vertical channel and leave the rest fluffed as it is and put the tank on?
I've noticed you fold a tiny bit in the vertical channels...

I don't really "fold" anything, I just make sure that the horizontal channels are filled, to avoid flooding from liquid running under the wick. The rest I leave on top of the deck, as fluffy as I can.

First, anyone still looking for a Squape R it looks like InTaste says the next batch isn't far away (I also hear you can choose deck option in the new batch according to StattQualm post on a BAM Vaping review).

For now finally got my sqr to vape good!
Follwed the steps above by ficfreedom.
Its different to how initially did it when i got the sqr so i dont know what really has changed but this is my setup:
Yes i know it's not as neat as the others but it's a start hey. And yes I'm vaping it constantly now as it vapes like a beaut!!
Just need a new deck W deck but holding out for the new ones coming out in the near future
Also shall be buying this bell top cap too!

Just found some new products on their website.
They have a new pocket knife tool with lots of attachments inc coiling etc. It's all you need for travels bit expensive at 65pounds though.

Cloud9Vaping has just stocked the new batch along with more stock of various accessories.
Vaperev has the SqR in stock again also. Ordered one yesterday. They are shipping them with the "W" deck vs. the "S" deck.
I ordered my first Squape from VapeRev Friday and it'll be here tomorrow. I'm so glad VapeRev only ships with the wide deck now. Can't wait to try it with nickel on my Flask. Read through the entire thread trying to learn the best way to coil and wick the Squape. I'll be putting my skills to the test come tomorrow.
Just pulled the trigger on this one. Went to intaste to get the open pos pole for erlk and saw the squape r available! Though Im not a fan of the height, but I read good reviews about it so might as well try it.

It's awesome! You shall not be dissapointed! Just make sure u get the right deck etc and play around with the configs.
For me 2.5mm id 28gauge 5or6 wraps around 1.2-1.5 ohms is just perfect.
