I've posted throughout this thread that nickel, tempered nickel to be exact, is all I use with the Squape, and it works great. I'm glad I haven't had to stuff anything in my 510 to keep it stable. But I do remove it and clean it every time I rewick it. Which really seems to help too. I found what caused my resistance to jump around was if any part of the coil was touching the deck. But with tempered nickel, it's easy to put it where you want it and have it stay there. Plus it doesn't squish together when you wick it.Have you guys used the squape on the dna 40 with nickel?? I still can't get mine to work.
One other thing, I couldn't get contact coils to work well. Once I went with spaced coils, a lot of my problems went away.
