Just found this:
Translucent Replacement Acrylic Bell Cap for SQuape Rs RTA Atomizer
I've never bought from them before and they've definitely got a bunch of clones, but for an acrylic bell cap whatever. I was also mildly interested in the isolators for the centerpin but will make due

*facepalm*

well at least when I break mine (inevitable) It'll only be like $8 max instead of $35 :/

ETA:

I've seen the in depth review by PBusardo and the Sqape Reloaded looks good. Who makes the best clone? How does the flavor compare to the kayfun 3 and 4?

There isn't much talk about the clones in this thread, though there is a SQR clone thread and a newer one about the sxk 1:1 Rs. The clones have been historically plagued with build quality and VP/FP performance issues

Seriously. I love finding stuff like that after the fact. But at least we can tell ourselves that the ones we got were from a reputable manufacturer (using the exact same materials to look pretty much the same for 3x the price). So just pretend ours are 3x better.

Ahh, now doesn't that make you feel better?

I want a black rs sooo bad but don't want to pay 220+ for that to be a reality. Any chance they just start selling full kits in colors?
You could go to their website and buy all the parts, i.e. the base, chimney, a deck and black air ring and tank. Not sure whether that would cost more than a full RS set up but it might be cheaper since I believe the colored aluminum tanks are less expensive.

RS = $143

Base = $69
Tank & AFC = $60 (SS is actually $53)
Decks = $19
Drip tip = $15
Total = $163, so much for my previous post
lol. They had a flash sale last weekend for 30% off of the base. That would of done it. May just have to do it. Got an xvo coming and I picture a black squape in my head. lol

WOW! D deck is pretty nice!

5 minutes to build and wick a dual build that comes damn close in performance to an RDA - gonna have to drop my nic level when I use it.

I can't believe I waited so long to pick one up ... It's a good time to own a Squape!
Drains ur juice quick though and on a dual fused Clapton it's like super nice

Can coils touch the squape decks or is this going to cause shorts, etc? I have been vaping on a squape RS authentic the past few weeks and have been building 2.5mm 10-12 wrap ni200 28 gauge coils elevated high enough on the W deck that they are not touching the sides of the slots. My impression of elevating the coil this high is causing quite a harsh vape. I decided to put the same build completely in the slots and its clearly touching some of the sides of the deck. To my suprise my suprise its vaping just fine using a few different TC mods and its a much smoother vape than when I was elevating the coils.

The deck is non-conductive but i believe folks sometimes have trouble when the coil is touching it - this is a total guess But it might have something to do with having the cold deck changing the temp of the coil at the point of contact

I'm glad that yours is vaping great tho!

It's an anodized coating over aluminum. StattQualm's patented process/materials. It's one of the reasons the SQR gives cloners such a hard time. The coating appears to be harder than steel, all my poking and scraping around with tweezers and drill bits didn't hurt my W deck at all for the 8 months it was in daily use.

Yeah, I've only ever used Ni200 in mine and it's the only atty I've used for the past year. I've never had any issues with coils touching the deck.

I'm surprised you could squeeze 12 wraps of 28 gauge in there though. I usually do 8 and get around 0.12 or with 0.3mm (28/29 gauge) 0.13 Ω.

Guys not being rude I see no way or wrapping the D deck dual coils without the coil legs resting on the deck. Tried doing it without touching but the cool did not vape as well for some reason.

Well that's what's great about the non-conductive decks.
Also, try wrapping your coils the other way around the posts. That way they'll tighten as you tighten the screws. The way you've got em set up the legs loosen the coil as you tighten the screw and also have your legs overlapping like that. Do it the other way and you'll see they'll line up cleaner.

Agree nj. My current Clapton wraps I placed them a little better. For me the most important thing is making sure the legs of the coils do not touch the cotton when wicking. The coils with no wick absorb a lot more juice and that residual juice can eventually turn the flavour sour. Dry burning won't help either and using water makes the problem even worse. Only way to clean it properly is to get some tissue, fold it on itself once and use that to get the juice out. Small thing but for me I can tell when the flavour is off even by a little.
