That little part in the right looks like it will attach to the top of your chimney before installing into the tank

ETA: There is an O ring too if you were wondering

Hi everyone, after a short time away from my squape r, i have been back and using it daily! However with some issues!
Lots and lots of flooding!! Also everytime i take a draw, it's like bubbling, it's not a smooth draw. It like mixes in with some air pockets.
When i check the deck, it looks all good. Right amount of cotton, and the coil is wider than the air hole. Using the B deck with 8 wraps of 0.37mm kanthal. This setup always worked flawlessly before. Now i dont know what's wrong with it. Any ideas?

My b deck will occasionally have issues if the wick somehow falls out of place in the cup. It literally just takes poking at it for a sec with a toothpick to solve... (and the cleanup) I don't even know what I do exactly when I poke at it, I think sometimes it just wants attention

I ordered from c9v. They are also available directly from StattQualm.

I'm kicking myself for not adding a spare Rs chimney and a spare 510 pin to my order. I guess i'll just have to order another base to justify the shipping!
Ordered the bell cap and (thank you for the reminder) a couple of center pins (have both the Squape R and Rs):).

Ugh, I just bit the bullet and dropped 23 on shipping. I ordered a couple centerpin replacements, the glass RS cap, an RS chamber, a replacement R chamber & the new extension. I'm hoping to be able to build something which holds around the 5ml I'm used to with the R by adding the extension to the glass RS tank. We'll see.

Also, I dream of someday having a tank for the squape like this:
Quartz Glass Monster v2 Tank $39.99 Vape95.com – VAPE95
-Blew my mind! It would be insane to be able to see the coil. I like the ematle (sp?) coating, but hell, glass is equally non-conductive with the added benefit of being able to see through it.
I emailed vape95 with questions like who makes it & whether they'd consider making one for us squape lovers, but I'm not expecting the answers I'd like.

"Like" for knowing how you feel! I ordered thinking it was glass too, I even watched the review on c9v and I don't remember him saying it was PMMA - as this is usually a deal breaker for me. Maybe he did I just missed it cuz he's English :p

But I am enjoying it, Polishing off the frosted look was easy enough, it doesn't even weigh as much as the drip tip I'm using, and filling is much quicker.

I'd be interested in hearing if bell cap + tank extension ( - chimney extension) + full r chimney combo works!

Just received my Squape Rs and made my first coil using tempered ni200 28 gauge 12 wraps. I am using this on a SX Mini M class and its reading 0.09 ohms and overall the flavor is great with a temp between 390-410 with the juice I am using. Considering this is the first temp control coil I have ever tried I don't have much to compare it to except Kanthal builds. I would be curious if anyone else has recommendations for a temp control build in the Squape Rs. Clearly I need to do a lot more research on TC in general and different builds. Thanks

I'm surprised you were able to get so many coils in there. I've been using the wide deck, tempered 28 gauge Ni200 & usually do 8 wraps around a 3mm bitt & get around 0.11-0.12. With 12 wraps in that small space and at 0.09, some of the coils must be touching? Which deck are you using?

I am using the W deck, and yes some of the coils are probably touching. Tonight I will give the 8 wraps on a 3MM a try.

Hmm honestly I wish it was that simple. Any ideas about the air pockets though? It's very annoying and I'm certain that's what causing the serious flooding.
It has to be that there isn't a proper vacuum seal inside or something? You can see air bubbles coming out of the deck too (got the bell vape cap on) I checked the o right and that looks like it is in good condition and also the coils are perfectly centered with the wick nicely flowing down.
To avoid flooding i started making the coils longer than the cup (had to go up a size in the wire department, 0.37mm wire) which solved the issue but now it's just throwing air pockets during my drags.
Any other suggestions?

I haven't tried the 350j chip yet (waiting another week or two for my VF SX to be built/ship), but I've been using a DNA40 & if I made a coil like the one you described I'd be tapping out on temp control (TC) way too quick. I have to make them perfectly spaced & even then, to avoid TC I kick it up to max out at 450°.
Also, I highly recommend using tempered Ni200, it's a ton easier to work with and anything not labeled as such is annealed which is a lot more flimsy and difficult to wrap with. The only source of tempered Ni200 that I know of is stealthvape or something like that. It's in the UK but ship to me in Boston pretty quick and cheaply.

Sitting on my counter are spools of 28 & 30 awg tempered Ni 200 from Lightning Vapes.

I prefer this to the tempered from Stealth Vapes.
