I did it!

Provaris are good..... but you can make yourself an ecig that is just as good(if not better) !Put the faith inyourself and not some other manufacter that will charge you 200 $ for an ecig. You are capable of making your own provari!!!!! May the force be with you .:)

    To the OPs first impression:

    yep. lol

When I opened my box containing my black provari, I was stunned on so many levels. My FIRST thought?

"wow, this is small.. did they send me a mini?"

    Then it turned too

Holy crap. Oh wow. Hahaha! YES! Oh dude!

    Everything about it, is awesome.

Ive recently gotten seriously into mechanicals. Im loving the whole rebuilding low ohms, silica, mesh, gennys, drippers yada yada.. its some of the best vaping Ive done yet. And as such, my Vv/VWs mods have kinda been pushed to the side...

Except my Provari, which has been in full use the whole time, rocking either an A7 RDA at ~1.7-2ohms, or a carto tank. Because I dont ALWAYS want the super intense vape im getting from my Hybrid and my Mechs.(And, some juices dont taste good at 4.2volts on a .7ohm coil. While some juices just EXPLODE with flavor on that coil, others turn to devilish poop juice. The lowly carto tank is not to be forgotten)

so I stopped in at a B and M today,,,,,,,,(I needed an Ego battery to get me through until I can get my provari),,,,,,,

and OH HOLY COW,,,,,,,,they had Provaris!

they let me hold one,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,happy sigh.

they let me try the threads,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,happy sigh.

they let me play with it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,happy sigh.

I got to handle both the mini and the regular,,,,with and without the extended cap,,,,,,happy sigh.

they did not let me vape on it, but oh well, you can't have it all :D

what an amazing mod! I was actually quite suprised how COMPACT they were,,,,I thought they were much larger,,,and those threads are smooth as BUTTER,,,,,,

    I.WANT.ONE.

They didn't let me go home with it either :glare: but that was probably DH's fault, the old meanie

    Christmas HURRY UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure you've seen posts saying just buy the ProVari because you will eventually anyway. When I read those back in the day, I said to myself, "They can't be that good."

Then I bought a ProVari Mini..

I've gone on to buy a few other mods since, and the one I go back to every time is the ProVari. They really are that good. :)

Just as good... is the common phrase in most of the disparaging posts, that and the poster never having owned one. Why do they come on the ProVari threads? You don't see people posting on threads for other devices about how much less an XXX is compared to a Chi You (for example), plus it has VW!

This, of course, is not directed at those who someday hope to join the ProVarinati, it is for the nimrods who crash our threads:

$150 for a service plan, Hmmmmm.

Who knows what advancements will come next month let alone next year, that renders all our devices as antiques. I'm talking about functionality as it exists today.

I've looked at all the documentation and I'd really like to know what I may be missing, i.e. the single button seems so much more of a PITA then the 3 Vamo buttons for feature navigation, & I checked voltage drop on the Vamo and it is minimal, so looks aside, what am I missing?

It delivers a strong and consistent vaping experience! It is reliable! Oh- yes, it's a bit pricey but not in the long run. It will outlast the competitors and it holds a great resale value. I'm sure you have heard it all but I have yet to read a post by someone who purchased a Provari and was sorry they did.

Can someone tell me just what a Provari does the Vamo V3 doesn't, that's worth the $150+ more it costs?

I still want to know where this comes from?
Vamo V3= VAMO V3 MOD APV Variable Voltage Variable Wattage That's $56.43 with no batteries or charger.
Provari= ProVari Variable Voltage Electronic Cigarette That's $159.95
So we get $103.52 in price difference. So you can buy 3 Vamo's for the same price. That's great, you will need them! I've been reading more and more posts of people with three month old Evic's and Vamo's and..... with striped out thread's and no way to fix them, they are junk now!
Then what do you do with your Vamo if/when it breaks? Where do you send it for repair? Why does this matter? Well, I've bricked my Provari once already! I screwed up and let juice get on the board and corrode it! Totally my fault without a doubt! I sent it in and they fixed it under warranty, no questions, no hassle, nothing! The hardest part for me was it was like pulling teeth to get someone to tell me what had happened to make it crap out like that! Honestly, I had it back for three days before someone told me what I'd done to it!
Yeah, I'll buy a Vamo next time, NOT!!

the provari PWM is set much higher then the china mods making the coil burn more even and this helps the atty make vapor more consistently.

the electronics are built to military design rules for toughness and reliability.
the chip inside monitors the voltage to the atty, and re calibrates itself while you vape making sure the voltage you set stays within 1% of the setting until the battery is dead. there is no sag, there is no voltage drop as the battery dies. it doesnt seem to get weaker when the battery is running down.

the head is one solid piece of SS and it is near impossible to strip the threads.
the button is also designed to military rules and is rated for well over 1 million presses.
I believe thay said 90%+ of the mod is made and sourced from american parts as well as they make their own circuit boards
they offer a warranty, and when that is over will repair it very cheaply

As I stated before, the technology is new, there is much to come, I'm not looking for an heirloom

yeah,,,,,,you could buy 3 or 4 vamos for the price of a Provari (or another really good mod),,,,,,,

or you can buy one that you KNOW will still be working years from now,,,,,,,

nothing wrong with either choice,,,,,,,,,,but for me, I'd rather buy quality ONCE. I'm so done with mods that break, Egos that die,,,,,,,again and again and again,,,,,,,,

then it sounds like you know what you want,,,,,,the cutting edge.

i don't care about the cutting edge,,,,I want quality that lasts and does what it's supposed to do,,,,,,,,,,vape.

Describe eating an orange in enough detail to convince me it isn't as good as an apple. You can buy 4 apples for the price of 1 orange. I don't get it. They are both fruit and satisfy you when you are hungry.

There is a reason the phrase je ne sais quoi exists. We can tell you technical specifications, but like every other thousandth thread like this one, you will answer that it doesn't matter. If we say how much we like it or how it has proven it's durability, our statements will be dismissed as anecdotes.

We are not here to convince you to buy a ProVari. No one here gives a flying fruit bat what you vape. If I wanted 10 Vamos, I would buy them. If I sold my house, I could buy 3 more in another part of town, but I don't want to do that either.
