I'd probably say that the iPhone qualifies as more disruptive. It's been devastating to many companies who used to rule that market. The big cig companies are still in business and they haven't shut their doors yet.
While that is true, the iPhone only disrupted one single industry. eCigs are disrupting Big tobacco, Big Pharma, Big Government, and a lot of huge non-Profits that depend on funding from the above entities. While no one is closing their doors, you have a lot of huge players losing lots of money and of course they are going to fight back by any means possible.
