Although the Peter Fonda patch logo is awesome, I may have to go with this one. The problem with putting the letters in the logo is scaling like some others have mentioned. The letters in the logo will absolutely get lost when you scale it down small and put it on a bottle or a business card. Rule #1 of marketing: People have to be able to read it!

Quick solution, use both

I agree, just make sure the logo is the same and you have a winner. Using both of them for different situations would be awesome. The large Tector version for shirts, letterheads, back of business cards, etc would be awesome and use just the peace symbol logo for smaller situations.

My final vote is for Tector's idea with the Peter Fonda patch logo as the "O" in Smoke.

I agree that placing the letters inside the design does make it hard to read when it's smaller. Although given the space on a 5ml bottle I seriously doubt any writing will be legible. On a business card ...definitely. The circle is just going to look odd being in the center. .. Although this is what he asked for

and of course, please try not to change the original colors etec. we just want to be able to add something legible into it so folks can find us

I LOVE tector's rubber stamp look. I could totally see that on a business card. Although I agree with Free2BMe the peace symbol should be the same throughout. The facing down flag seems off to me. I would love to combine them really really really bad. Too bad this is a competition, I always like collaborations more.
