I've had my SE for awhile now and I keep having issues with the atty. I keep going to my e-cig guy and since tomorrow is black friday I'm prolly not going to be able to get in touch with him as I normally would once I'm off work.

That's not my main issue though.

My issue is.... for awhile I was doing good with the SE, cutting down from a pack of analogs a day to 4.... and I went from the high mg to the med mg. But because of the constant issues I have with my SE and recent stress about my financial issues my analog habit is creeping back up. Smoking camel wide lights doesn't effect me as far as turning from it completely but as I've said in another topic, the marlboro mediums are disgusting to me, giving me headaches and yet I'm still smoking it. I need help. I feel as if I'm losing my control here. I know some of you have suggested me getting a Joye 510 and believe me I would if I didn't have a huge electric bill and being a month behind on rent, Christmas is sucking this year lol.

Any advise would be great right now, I know you all are very supportive.

Just a little clarity..

Getting your SE is a great start.. what you really need to do is research and distinguish what you really need from your e-cigarette that is going to get you off smoking analogs the very same day you get your unit. Get enough to hold you over with that unit for a few weeks to a month, to keep you out of the cig store.
This does not work if you don't have your mindset ready to quit analogs and let them go. Sure, I am saying that you have to be determined to just say good-bye.. but, there have been a few like me to dwell... only because I wasn't expecting my unit to show for another week and when it did, I already had two packs of analogs left- couldn't through them away so I smoked and vaped here and there til those packs were gone and didnt get anymore analogs.
Both of these together will drain your funds , so you are going to have to really sit down , choose what you want to do for yourself, and stick to it.
Concerning vaping, I would recommend any 801, 901, or 510 unit. I don't know what your needs are.. but if you have concerns on battery time .. jump to a battery mod like the Chuck, SB, SD, or Protege. I would personally recommend the SD or Chuck. The SD is a little more expensive than the chuck but it performs very good, with a medium throat hit that is not harsh, and the battery last 8-10 hours vaping heavy. The Chuck performs just as well with a heavy throat hit and vap production and the battery last me roughly 6 to 8 hours.

801s .. on say the vapor king are a medium between the Battry MOD and the regular e-cig. They have a very good review and very popular in demand. Learning curve is easy and are available with a cartomiser, so that you wouldn't have to deal with carts all the time.

I hope this helps... If you have any direct questions feel free to PM and I will get back as soon as I can.

I have a 901 I have been vaping no for 4 weeks. I make my own analog I have cut down to 10 cigs a day.Mostly because of my stockpile of tobacco. I love to vape I get a better jolt from vapeing. I have Camel juice and a variety of other tobacco flavors. I made a juice i call the "zinger". I use 24 mg of non flavored nicotine, camel, virginia, tobacco, and flue cured. It is wonderful. last night I put in some coke juice. It gives it a slight sweet flavor. The end result is something very comparable to camel no 9 with more of a kick. Keep it up you can quit analogs if you want to. Just my opinion. Have a great day.

I would suggest trying something in the range of 24-36mg if you are trying to quit analogs. That's what did it for me. Again, you must be determined to kick the habit of analogs also. Everytime the feeling of lighting up comes, start vaping until the feeling leaves you. It will..

I smoked for over 40 years and the day my first ecig came never had another analog again. I had a lot of motivation in that analogs were killing me.

Another thing to think about as you are having financial troubles is you can save a lot of money not smoking analogs as opposed to vaping..

Good luck with it. Im sure you will succeed!

PS> the device you use will certainly help if it is quality. Im not familiar with the SE So cant guide you there.. I got off analogs with a 510. Was gerat at the time.. :)

You don't have to stick to the same supplier for the SE for your juice. All you need to do, if you think you have a need for higher nic.. is go to say juicy juice or DIY flavorshack. maybe Johnson Creek . and get some 24mg nic juice. If you have say 11mg on you now in the flav you like.. you can get flavorless nic and mix.. then get doublers, which is concentrate of the flavors used for the juices .. and add you some doubler little by little til you get the flavor strength you want. Add a touch of glycerin in the end to balance your concoction and rock on.
The 510 will probably be the best choice for you too.. because it sounds like you are not getting the appropriate throat hit that you desire.

I agree, you need a higher nic. I smoked for 40+ yrs. I find that I need the 24mg. in the morning then I can go to the 11 or even 0 during the day. I always keep a fresh battery and 24mg with me, if I get a strong urge for a smoke that takes care of it. I use the 510 and also feel it would be a good choice for you,

I might suggest that when you get your 510 you drip and dump the carts, I feel that just continually adding that extra drop or two of 24 on the atty during the "urge" moments really helps.

Ok correction, the for SE high is 16mg, med is 12mg and I don't even bother with the low mg. I'm considering getting Johnson Creek e-liquid.... but prolly just starting with a sampler pack. Any good places you guys recommend that carries a 24 mg juice?

And thank's Skippy, I found it cheaper to drip then going by the carts anyways :)

It is definately a lack of nicotine. Just go to perfectelectroniccigarette.com and e-mail Terry-he will get you set up. Tell him what juices you have on hand and where you need to get mg wise. Get your mixer also-pg/vg. I have 5 packs of analogs in the kitchen and have no urge whatsoever to go get one!!!! Hang in there, you can do this.

This is the cheap post or how far can you stretch a dime.

I would NOT normally suggest buying knock offs but since you are cash strapped I will anyway.

MadVapes has knock off 510s for 9.99 each. Each has a charger and a couple of carts. He has 24mg/30ml for 9.79. He has been up front on this forum about them being knock offs. I've bought from him once and plan to do it again although I haven't bought any of the knock offs. I have also talked to him on the phone.

MadVapes LLC

The only reason I am suggesting this is cost. Only one shipping charge 5.95. You could be set for a short time for only 35.72

As far as cheap juice StrictlyEjuice.com, Flavor Shop! is as cheap as it gets. I haven't bought from them but apparently a bunch here have.

As far as a regular supplier with e-gigs also LitecigUSA .He has consistently had low juice prices. Sometimes other suppliers have gotten lower but never when I'm buying, I have bought from him several times.

Rocky Mountain Vapor you have reached the mountain top of electronic cigarettes! has also got good juice prices. I just haven't bought from them. Free shipping over $14.

I think they all sell Dekang.

There are other places that have better prices on individual items but this post is about stretching that dime, so one shipping charge. I've been where you are and I know how much fun it is.:(

Other than that all I can say is hang in there. Also even though vaping is cheaper in the long run don't beat yourself up if you can't get the cash together for an order and have to start digging in the sofa for change and buying cigs for a bit. Stress s**ks. and you don't need to add to it.

Good luck!

i think wetyourstick is decent , cigarettereplacer is pretty cheap and they get my packages to cali in 2 days, diyflavorshack there flavors are bomb i love them the vapor is thick as hell and im using a 901 but you have to wait a little longer for dawns juice. sorry i cant post links yet

www.diyflavorshack.com.. Just thought I would help with that link..
Dawn is down for the holiday weekend.. she will be back on Monday.

Joye510 Manual Switch Dual Atomizer - 2 Complete E-Cigs - $36.88 : E-Cigarette Wholesale - China Electronic Cigarette Wholesale - Discount electric cigaret - Cheap Mini e-cigarette - Buy E-cig From Manufacturer, E-cigarette, electronic cigarette onli.... also hit this link. This is like two complete joye 510 units for the price of 36.88, with many great economic options for new users. I believe this would be a great start with the 510.. naturally any model you go with will require subjectivity and you will have to play around to find the right one. For the price, this one will be a great start and I hope you find what you need to get off those nasty cancer sticks.

Thanks guys :) I'm trying I'm starting to notice my headaches are coming back (from freaking smoking analogs) Good news is the financial situation is somewhat better now... may even have next month rent and utility good to go. If that be the case I can hopefully start saving for a better e-cig and e-liquid. I asked my mom for the Johnson Creek sampler pack as a x-mas gift, even though she thinks the whole thing is nutty to her, we'll see but at least I have some hope in finding something better thanks to you guys :)

Any recommendations for a total newbie? I haven't ordered anything yet. I have ADD, and there are simply too MANY choices. I have been smoking for over 45 years. I normally smoke about one pack per day of Pall Mall light 100s. I don't think I'm interested in 'exotic' flavours. I just need someone's best recommendations for a 'starter kit'. Of course, price IS an object, but I still want quality, not something that is going to need wholly replaced each month or so. Any suggestions based on this info would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much.

Carolina where in AZ are you located (me too). There are suppliers here in AZ. Also we have a social group of people that vape and we get together once a month, and suppliers come and bring models to try out and buy. Our next meeting is December 19th.

Thanks. I just joined your group, however I live in Tucson. My daughter lives in Tempe. and I am going to be 'kitty sitting' for her starting the 10th, while she is visiting San Fran for a few days. I can probably stay a few days after she returns, I will have to see how the month shapes up. (It IS a crazy month) All this being said, I would LOVE to get started with something ASAP. I haven't smoked now for almost 2 weeks, I've been using nicotine lozenges. However, I'm really having MORE smoking urges now, rather than less. I just don't want to 'blow; the entire progress (and 2+ weeks of 'suffering') I've already endured. I would like to have something I can use while staying with my (totally) non-smoking daughter.

Thanks again for the info.
