OK I would like to know now know if anyone had rewrapped theses batteries.

I did not want to tie up these batteries for wood mod only so I decided I would strip the battery down and see what was their.

I decided seeing that the one that cut right on the PCB lead was the wrosdt off I would strip it and remove the PCB.

I think if I can find something thin enough to rewrap the battery I can reuse it for a while.

I am thinking about using a thin clear packaging tape.

What do you guys think? Ever rewrapped a battery?

I had that same issue with my old Ultrafire 18650 and Trustfire 18650 Batteries when I first got my SSGGTS!! I threw them out and did not attempt to rewrap them...I went ahead and bought a couple of the Red AW 18650 with 1600mAh Those fit perfect and have had no issues at all with them!!! I do have a friend who used shrink wrap on his Li-ion battery before without having any issue but I dont want to recomend that at all because I dont know if he is just lucky to not have had an issue with his!!!
