So in doing a bunch of information digging, and site browsing i think i have pretty much narrowed down what i am going to buy, likely placing my order tomarrow. So i just wanted to get some feedback from people in the know to make sure im not missing anything.

First is likely going to be the ego twist 650mah as i think that the 1000 will likely be to large for my pocket and the 650 looks abit more compact( i was also considering the ego c tornado slim but it does not seem as versatile as the twist). I also plan on picking up the charger obviously, the vivi nova 2.5( i wanted one of the smoketech slim tanks but they seem to be sold out), and then picking up some e liquid from heathers heavenly vapes.

This purchase is abit different as im buying various pieces instead of a kit so i wanted to make sure i get everything in one go. So i wanted to get some feedback from regular vapors on anything else i might need, i know getting a second battery will likely be a must but i have to stick with one for right now. Any advice is much appreciated.

There's got to be something here you can cut or change in order to have more than 1 battery. IF you are planning to totally quit smoking analogs, and something happens to your batt, you are going to buy analogs. Also, what are you going to be doing for the hours your batt is charging?

How long til you can purchase a 2nd batt?

Point taken the plan is to completely kick analogs, so a second battery will likely be needed. I was likely going to pick up 3 15ml bottles of e juice from heathers, but @ $8 it might be cheaper to pick up one 30ml bottle or get juice from else where for now.

Part of it also is that vaporbeast is sold out of chargers for the twist so instead of paying $3 from them the only other place i have seen it is at $10 in stock.

My Vapor Store has the charger for $6.75. Maybe an ego cone cover(screws over the outside threads of the ego)for $2.95. Their ego twist 650 is $22.99.
It is so hard to find everything you need from one vendor. It drives me crazy.

Last time I looked...a day or two ago...Liberty Flights had rapid chargers for the Twist, and they were running around $4. Shipping there is cheap and fast. Also...650 mAh on a Joytech is only gonna give you maybe 4 hours on a charge, active use. The charging time on a rapid charger on a minimum 1.5amp wall wort will be a minimum of 3 hours. Maybe 4. You might consider an alternate brand Twist from Hello at Discount Vapers for $20 for a 900 mAh that will give you 6 hours heavy use. I have one and they perform just as well, or better than the Joye, and are built smaller, so it should ride in your pocket okay. Or consider a battery pass through in 650...if you'll have access to a USB during the day. One battery won't cut it.

What are we looking at for a budget?

I second, third, fourth and whatevers about the backup batteries. With one battery...are you willing to play the "wait until it's green to vape again" game? I wouldn't...I started (and still am) on a 2 complete unit system. Two complete units with different flavors just so I won't get tired of a flavor and think of analogs... Ever since I started I have been analog free. Almost 4 months and counting after 17+ years.

I would have to agree with this, DiscountVapers.com should probably have everything you need to get started minus the charger they too are out of stock.

Everybody should have at least a 5 pack of cartos in case there's a zombie apocalypse or something. You never know when you're going to need them. A drip atomizer like an LR 306 isn't bad to have either.

650 mah won't last you throughout the day, this plan isn't great. Get at least a 900mah and a 650 if that what you want to do. One for portability and one for lasting power. Vaporbeast has your 900s for 20 bucks and free shipping.

The Vivi Nova Mini is a good clearomizer but the E1-V is better. Discount Vapers sells it for 6 bucks. It holds more juice than a Vivi Nova Mini, looks better, has better flavor, is the same price, and you don't need a ego thread collar/sleeve to cover up those threads (like you do with the Vivi Nova Mini) as the E1-V already has one attached for free.

A lot of people are parroting the latest greatest products all the time and I generally think this is a bad idea as sometimes there are better products out there with no one to try them. E1-V all the way.

If you have any questions please refer to my Vaper's Handbook link below (in my signature).

Especially on your first order go small and varied on the liquids. 5 ml only sample sizes, in both PG and VG, at 3 different nic levels. (That would be six 5 ml samplers.) The far more difficult part of this process is figuring out what nic level(s) you need, your likes and dislikes regarding PG versus VG liquids and flavors, and more importantly and seriously - if you have any sensitivities to either PG or VG as your base liquid. Hopefully not, but there is nothing worse for a noob to do than lay out a pile of $$$ on liquids that turn out to be something you can't vape or don't want to vape.

Out of the six samples, find one or two you like, adjust your nic level if needed, and get those in bigger sizes on your next order while throwing in a couple more samplers to try. Build your liquids from there.

My only observation regarding your hardware choices is you may find the ViVi Nova to be too fussy and labor intensive for a first time vaping choice. I found the heads only performed for me for about a week or less before needing disassembly and/or cleaning and/or rebuilding.

Also, you are also very much restricting yourself to a single liquid with a tank setup by the very design. You need something more flexible that can handle different flavors, nic strengths etc. while sorting things out. A tank setup is very much a one trick pony in this regard. Short term at least, cartos or attys would be a better choice until you know you want to go through an entire tank of any given liquid at a time. And initially that could take weeks to sort out.

You could get these: mini starter kit 650mah stainless, 3ml nova tank clearomizer 2.8ohm single unit, a couple of these universal coil head 2.4 ohm would be a good starting point get 3 or so to have some extras, and 900 mah Twist All for about $56 shipped 1st class.

this could work for me my budget is only $100 so I am trying to make sure i get everything i need while keeping it as cost friendly as i can manage right now. thanks for the links. :)

also good information and i thank you for it i have been pouring through your handbook since mid afternoon yesterday alot of great stuff there and i appreciate all the work you put into it, its very helpful to someone who is brand new to this like i am.

i was going to go with the vivi because it seems to come recommended by alot of people so naturally my mind thinks it might be the best option but im open to more suggestions, ill look into this one for sure.

also good stuff that i had not thought about, but honestly this might be the most confusing part because its hard to know how much 5 ml, 15ml, 30ml will last me and though i know in my head what types of flavors i like i understand it might be different when it comes to vaping. ill deff look into picking up some cartos aswell as that seems to be a big recommendation, maybe i should skip the tank setup all together until i have some juices i know i like.

thanks for all the advice everyone this forum and community are a huge help.
