So I've been considering my first mech for what seems like years (only months in actuality, but it was grueling)...and I settled on a spiffy new REO Grand (Black with Copper Wrinkle), a brass button cap, and nifty reomizer 2.0!

The reviews I've read and the videos I've watched, along with my recent dive into the world of rebuildables has me totally excited! Can't wait to "squonk" for the first time!

Thank you for the very warm welcome folks. It just makes the the anticipation of REO mail all the more exciting!

I've been using ProVari's for the last 9 months (and V4L products before that), and I'm a little apprehensive about going with a strictly mechanical device. I finally pulled the trigger after getting quasi-comfortable building coils, and getting really curious about trying something in the .7 to .9 ohm range.

I was apprehensive about a mech mod as well, but now I will never get anything else. For me it comes down to the all day durability, this is definitely a mod you can take anywhere and not worry about it getting damaged. The simplicity of it makes it so easy to use, clean, and maintain. I also found that with VV once I was dialed in, I never changed my settings anyway.

.7 -.9ohm with 28awg (or twisted 30) is a very nice vape, can't go wrong. In this range, make sure you get the upgraded contact kit from Rob when they come out ~3/15, it will boost performance/battery life.

Welcome and Congrats! I have a mini and I just ordered a grand too- we will probably both get them tomorrow! :D

Thank you very much CL! Sadly, I didn't order my REO until late on Friday and I believe Monday is a Federal holiday (Presidents Day), so no mail service :(

Regardless, the anticipation is almost as much fun!

I realized that - Tuesday is what I meant! I realized mine hit my post office and got super excited, then remembered the darn holiday and almost cried! RATS.
