Well i was at the supermarket the other day and was walking out to my Jeep minding my own and puffing away and a smoker came up to me so i was like hmm well i guess hes gonna ask some questions about my gear or what not. Well was i way wrong, he was like yo dude you vapers are so dumb you have no idea what your putting in your body. I was like hmm ok and the 7000 all rolled up in your analogs are ok? I mean im not about to dis a smoker how can i? I used to be one lol. So it went on and on he was saying how dumb i was then i took a drag because heck i needed something to calm me down. To be polite i exhaled upward to the side and he said keep your nasty lung juice away from me um i was done at that point. The nerve of some people i swear. Anyone ever had any similar experances?

Idk i just think tgat guy was mad before he got to me. But i mean i was a stranger in the parking lot lol. That was a first for me for sure.
Was this in a city or anywhere that vehicles were around ?

Ive only gotten that from people I actually know who have no clue about cigarettes or e-cigs so far haha. Earlier this year I was working at Pavilions grocery store and used to sit outside and vape on my breaks and I actually used to get quite a few smokers who would come up to me and ask me how well it really worked to quit smoking. It actually got annoying sometimes because they would want to talk about it so much I was always late coming back to work!
In the city about half a block away from the local vape shop. Was headed there after i left the supermarket. And thanks for the welcome and hello to you as well!
Im a machenist so most of the people i talk to are smokers. I have turned 3 1/4 of them to vaping lol. We hold nightly cloud comps it seems. We have a lot of downtime so its easy for us to sneak away and vape lol.
Good job man hehehe! I think at work I was the ONLY person that was a smoker (I gave up cigs about 6 months before I started there though). My boss used to give me crap all the time and tell me 'You know youre still smoking' when I would bring up taking up vaping to quit.. I cant even count how many times I explained vaping to her but she was adamant I was still 'smoking' regardless. At least the cashiers I worked with were happy I quit with it and used to ask questions about what was in my juice and whatnot.
Some smokers are militant about smoking. Perhaps he sees vaping and vapers as yet another attack on his personal freedom and personal choice to smoke. Maybe he was a monosyllabic Neanderthal with a chip on his shoulder. Or maybe he was just having a crappy day.
If anyone ever pulls the "you're still smoking" card, I just explain that I'm no longer using tobacco products. I'm still getting nicotine, but I'm doing it in a way that is much safer than almost any other way possible. I still get to enjoy the health benefits of not smoking a and I don't have to go through the withdrawals of quitting. It's really a win for me all around.
Yeah i get the "whats in your juice question" all the time. That to me gets old but inspiring minds want to know so who am i to say no. I tend to make all my co workers juice. We all pitch in and normally we consume around 500 to 1000 mls a month so it gets pretty costly if i was to make it for us on my own. We dont sell it we share it. We call it out juice family share plan lmao.
Yeah thats what i think to. Smoking is a choice just like vaping so to each his own i say.

Honestly, I've found the non confrontational methods to be the most effective. If it's a stranger that accosts me in public, I will ignore them. If it's someone I know, I'll definitely be nice about it. Unless i ignore them for being ridiculous. I have two main options lol.
Hah! Our store was big enough it had a pharmacy in it. One day I was sitting out vaping on my break (I used to sit on the planter that was about 20 feet from one of the entrances) and one of the ladies from the pharmacy came out to the parking lot for whatever reason. She was standing in front of me waiting for cars to go by to walk out to her car and turned around and asked me 'Is that cotton candy?'. Told her no but it was one of the flavors I mixed with it to make my bubblegum recipes and she actually complimented it. If a pharmacy tech was cool with it, I gotta be doing something right!
So very true but this guy followed me to my car lol. I wasnt really freak out about it bc i do carry but its like really i mean come on ppl you have the right to smoke just like i do vape.
I be a dual user, and I'd probably dis him. Or laugh at him. Or perhaps try socratic method if I was being less moody.
I had similar experience with person I know and it wasn't a pleasant conversation.
