so I'm looking for some good places to get 510 stuff now, she wants standard 510 batteries (aka not that big ugly honkin thing you carry around) manual, and good lr 510 cartomizers. who sells a good starter kit with that combination. she wants GOOD quality, and something that looks nice/elegant. I dunno much about where to get good 510 stuff, as I vape kr8's can some of the more informed women around give me a few pointers?

thanks
pat and hannah.

I think you have two choices: explaining to your wife the physics of battery technology (which precludes a 6V standard 510, unless you stack about four of the things into about a 12" long 510), or steer her onto one of these: DSE-801 HIGH POWER Vaporizer

I think they're pretty, but then I'm a guy.

There are no penstyle mini batteries (that I know of) at 6 volts. The battery technology is just not that advanced. I wish they could be smaller. I use a mod called the Indulgence at 6 volts from www.EastMall.net Eastmall International Co.,Ltd.

It is one the smallest mod that I know of at 6 volts. It uses two 3.0 volt batteries stacked inside to make 6 volts. Actually the batteries I'm using are 3.2 volts and they are rechargeable. I got those from Eastmall as well.

So she likes the 510 at 6 volts...She should try the DSE901 at 6 volts. I didn't really care for the 801 that much. The Indulgence accomodates for all these models I've mentioned.

You didn't say what kind of 6 volt ecig your wife tried, but she has to have tried one in order to like it right? Sorry to say...but the batteries have to be a little 'big' in order to pump out 6 volts.

Unless I'm totally wrong and there's some new super powered mini out there that I don't know about. If there is...please clue me in, cause I want one.

It's in the lab... a lot of companies are doing nano-battery research now. It will be a while before Lithium-Ion gets dense enough storage to have meaningful lifetime at high voltages in a compact size. The guys had a discussion in the modders area:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-1800-mah-super-mini-size-few-years-away.html

You can do it at hv, or nomal v, but you need to get one of those "recharge 20 at a time" things, and about 20 batteries.

Like P.I. said:

P.S. Haven't they heard of voltage regulators? That PV needs special atties. I'm impressed that they came out with it, but I'd rather they used the 2 internal batteries at 3.x and just gave longer life. I could use a standard LR atty then.

I've never even tried to look for a female-specific 510, but I've run across this site that's more-or-less a vaper's equivalent of Victoria's Secret:Vapography a Division of Paraphernalia, LLC All Rights Reserved

They've got a lot of these kind of things:

Ordinarily the best place to get 510 stuff would be StrictlyEjuice, if only because they're LA based, which works out well for Simi Valley. Naturally, they're sold out of 510 kits, but they've got Rivas: https://strictlyejuice.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=63_89&products_id=389

Hey Jag--does she like her Lux?

I love mine. Hope she is as happy.

oh yes.. she's in love.. got a buncha different flavored juices, a buncha flavorings, 20 or 30 lr cartos, mugged me of some pg and vg and nicotine, then I got her some peg400, and she's off. she's been mixing up stuff working on awesome new flavors.

she really likes the lux, except one of the cones doesn't stay on very well, but other than that she's in heaven.

It's very pretty!

But check to see if it is compatible with your chargers--I don't think it is. Make sure you get the charger for it (~9 bucks for the USB).

Someone made a mistake and tried to charge the battery on an eGo or Riva (can't remember which) and it ruined the battery.

Wasn't an issue for me, since I didn't have one of the other models.
