Wow, I got my shipment notification e-mail. The receipt of it may prove to be bittersweet, since it's highly unlikely that it will be delivered on Saturday. Just my luck, I go back to work on Monday after being on medical leave for the past two months.
Human Resources: "Why are you unable to return to work?"
Me: "I need to stalk the mailman for delivery of my Preciousss!"
Human Resources: "Don't bother..."

That figures, at the last minute my daughter asked me to pick up my grandson from kindergarten and the mailman tried to deliver in that 15 minute time frame that I was gone. sigh I'll have to go pick it up at the Post Office tomorrow.

Yes, it is. But I put on my big girl panties and only shrieked and wailed for a couple of minutes. I also decided at that point that it is NOT going to be a Christmas present but instead an anniversary present from my husband (our 28th wedding anniversary is this Saturday). That means I can open it much sooner!
Then he'll get my SVD (he already has my old Evic) and I'll keep the MVP2 for backup. Win win!

You know what's weird? We still really, really like each other! lol I was always afraid of becoming one of those couples that go out to eat and look everywhere but at each other. I think he and I both lucked out ya know? Yeah, I'm starting to gush but I'm so damn glad that we're still crazy about each other after all this time.
Anyway, this time tomorrow I should be stylin' with my new ProVari!

Don't think it didn't cross my mind to call the school to say I was stuck in traffic or something like that. heh I didn't see the mailman anywhere around when I left so I thought I was safe. I did get lots of vapemail though when I got home. I did quite a bit of Black Friday shopping so that helped to soften the blow...sortof. Ok, not really.
The weird part is that shouldn't be weird at all. The sad part is that it's true. Double congrats then, I hope you 2 do something special & enjoy your day.
