OMG I can finally post here! I'm new and still smoking analogs :( Just haven't delved into my Vamo too much and I need to get off the cigs. I want to try a tank like IBT. Having serious issues with Orig Protank on this vamp. Tastes like Metal Eww.

Have a Black and White Mini on the way with a Tatroe/Sleeve, white extender and polished SS extender. And a few other sundries.
Welcome to the club. If you didn't do it when you got it, I recommend rinsing your Protank out before using it. Sometimes machine oils and metal particulates are not completely removed. Might be what you are tasting. Also if you have a Protank 2, you might want to swap out the metal drip tip for a plastic, glass or delrin tip. Some people are sensitive to the taste of metal.

I have not received it yet....

Here is the one from the website. I may get them all eventually....

It looks like it would go well with glycerine.

I have that problem with metal drip tips as well. When I got my ProTank2 I used the metal tip that came with it for about 3 puffs & immediately swapped it out for a black delrin tip. Much, much better.

Yep. It was so bad I dumped the juice out of it and soaked/swished with Dawn dish soap and rinsed the heck out of it. Washed the atomizer also. Changed to a new one, etc. I don't think it's touching the metal because I have a Kanger Mini and another PT which is tolerable (tho No, I don't like the metal). They are all Protank 1's so maybe I can put a bit of heat shrink on the tip?

Ozwald - I had a delrin tip in my Cart but removed it before purchase. :(

I started this vaping round a couple months ago, started with a protank 2, along with some a few other BCC's. I recently purchased 1 ibtank and I must say, WOW... then I nailed a good deal in the forum and have 3 more ibtanks on the way. I cant wait to make a full switch over. However, my protank has been so good to me that I will keep it around. The others can go away!

Just thought of sharing it here as well, for all my "new to" Provari friends:
Provari Beauty Rings : Our Choices

VapeRev's Kayfun Cone is the cheapest @ $8. Get's in-stock usually fortnightly. However, it's also 'coned' thus might not be for everyone. Also available thru Cloud9 and Svoe Mesto directly ~ but could take a while to land at your doors.

BompVapor's Black Delrin Ring is the next cheap Pro-Ring @ $10. However, typically N/A always. You have a 'notify me' option there ~ but I'm waiting for their response since 2-3 weeks now. Their SS ring is for $20 though. And again - N/A.

Tatroe's SS and Brass Pro-Rings are $14.99 each. However, they come only in one finish (brushed). They're usually available, except the brass one.

The next lowest is the GR-Modders' Pro-Rings @ $16.77 a piece. They have it in three variants, as well as in brushed and polished finish. Brass ones >HERE<

Our ECF supplier Loki Lab's Pro-Rings come in three versions ~ SS as well as Black and White Delrin. Though priced a bit steep @ $20 each they are typically in-stock always. And the SS rings again come in three variants ~ Machined, Brushed and Polished. There's one thus for everyone here

TrevVapor's Cingulum (Compleo/Prorogatio) series is in the Hi-End line. Pretty nice as Pro-Blings if you have the dough and desire that is. €38, €45 & €83 EUR if you know what I mean.

For a wholesome unit Atmistique's Hippo V2s are awesome. At €27 EUR each they are the best bang for our buck! Comes with AFC... available in SS and/or Brass. And fit's everything flush. Brass version >HERE<

Last but not the least, if you chose to use one of the finest tanks for your Divers / Killers / Sophias, The GP-SnP Tank - it comes in a 23mm version for our Provaris and any 23mm Mod per se... and has it's own [optional] SnP Pro-Ring for €18.30 which gets air-flow as well as looks nice.
I picked up everything from GR-Modders and Loki Lab yesterday :)

Wow, I am impressed with the mini I just got. I am getting a long battery life out of the eFest 18350 IMRs as well. I have always used AW IMR batteries in my ProVarii, but I decided to try the eFests after numerous good references from others.

I like this battery, and I am digging the ProVari Mini. Now that I am using mostly KFLs, it really is nice to have a shorter, lighter option.

Ugh, I hate USPS. Mine was supposed to be delivered yesterday at work, but it wasn't. Instead, they changed the delivery date this morning and tried to deliver today, but my office was closed. Didn't get there in time to catch the mail man. They didn't leave the slip they're supposed to leave. I tried to re-schedule delivery online, but it didn't work. Tried to do it on the phone, but it didn't work. Tried to call USPS, but customer service won't answer the phone. Tried to go to the post office, but there was no parking and I don't even know if that was the right post office. Grrrr! What a terrible day! So will they not go ahead and re-deliver it on Monday? :(
