Okay so i am really thinking about upgrading and caught between 2 different kits... Im thinking of getting either an Ego-T or going with a VV Lavatube.... I am really interested in the VV and i love how the carto-tanks look.

Anyways i know the lavatube is alittle more pricey but what do some of you think would it be worth the investment or should i just go with the ego-T?

They really are pretty different. I would get the lavatube though. But if you do get an eGo, dont get the eGo-T. The tanks suck. Their a total pain in the .... They were a good concept, but dont work well at all. Their finicky and leak all the time. And they dull flavors and TH. If you get an eGo Id get a regular one and use Boge 2.0ohm cartos.

Ego, Riva, etc is really a good "beginner" model. Upgrade would definitely be variable volt. I read there have been some issues with the lavatube which is not uncommon with new models. Both the Darwin and Provari are well supported and tested VV's. I would get one of those or a good VV box mod from Ken's Box Mods if money is an issue. Models like the Darwin have a number of features that the lavatube does not, foremost being boost circuit technology and not to mention a battery that lasts 21 - 35 hours on a charge.

I am partial to the VV. I have a box mod (garage door opener) from madvapes. Not too expensive, and have had it for about 6 weeks now and no problems. Personally I would not go back to anything not VV.

My reasons for this is that with the VV it doesn't matter what I throw at it in terms of ohms, single coil, dual coil, or whatever. I just dial it in and don't worry about it. It gives me the ability to look for sales in cartos, since I am partial to those as well, without much regard for the resistance.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck

VV is a different vaping experience IMO. I'd rock the Lavatube if you have the money for it, it's really a solid PV and great for the price.

VV is a different animal, I can't go back now that I've spent some time with my Provari. My kGo is still usable, don't get me wrong, but I surely reach for my mod way more than I do my kGo.

Ego tanks (the ones with the point that pierces a clearish tube then covered with a cone) are old technology, dont use them. They were good a year ago, but not anymore. In retrospect, they dull or burn the juices & leak.

Ego batteries are still good to use tho, just use something like a Vision clearomiser on it. OR for a cheap way to get into variable volts, get a ego vv from Gotvapes.
