I bought the old eGo when they were new. :) I would say at least 2 years ago. I have been using them with these carto's.

I haven't kept up with what is new in PV'ing as I have waffled back and forth between analogs and PV'ing.

The new eGo-C looks like something I want to try, but I am wondering if I need to buy the entire starter kit or if I could just buy the atty heads and some tanks. And then just use the batteries that I already have. I still have 4 that are working fine.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Yes Twin, you can just buy the newer tanks and atty heads and still use your old T batteries.

However, you should know that the "new" ego-c is really not that new anymore. I know everyone and his brother will give you different suggestions and I am one of them! hee hee

I started with the ego-t and the tanks, then moved to the ego-c and now am using a variable voltage batter (Twist or Spinner) along with a mini vivi nova and would NEVER go back to non-variable voltage vaping again.
