Old Guy Made it a Month !!

Hi again all.

Just reporting in to say I made it to 30 Days and am thrilled to no end !!! Never before have I had such an easy time getting off real cigs. I even graduated to a Riva 510 SE. Holy Crap what a difference from my cig lookalike. BUT..... I do have one problem with people that want to puff on my Riva. I'm an old misserable fart that is trying to educate every smoker that I know but letting them puff on my Riva would be like me asking to take a big sloppy bite out of thier T-Bone steak. I don't feel like keeping an extra set up for them to sample. I have found, however, that if I ask them to wait for me to put on my condom they tend to back off & settle for a conversation about e-cigs.

Just want to say that all the great advise and encouragement that you guys give out is a real great help & is greatly appreciated!!

Hi and grats!!

I use cartos with drip tip for a mouthpiece so I've though about carrying a few spare drip tips in case somebody wants to try it. Prior to that when I wanted my boss to try all of my ecigs, I brought a spare cart or carto for each and then tossed those. That was pretty wasteful.

You could also carry a couple of carts that are capped and an alcohol wipe. I carry an extra cartomizer and some alcohol wipes for those that want to try my PV out. Then I wipe the whole thing down.

I have been thinking a lot about the same subject. I know that once I bring this thing out in front of friends and family, they are going to want to try it. In fact, yesterday, I let my aunt take a pull, but I have known her my entire life and she is blood related. But what to do about people I don't know so well?

I really want people to be able to try vaping at my expense. I know the initial cost versus the doubt that it will work will be a concern for a lot of people. I want to be able to say, "Here, try it for yourself." But at the same time, I don't want to catch their mouth herpes or whatever. And I don't want to have to bother with buying and carrying around a zillion extra carts.

Maybe one extra cart and those little alcohol wet naps? I don't want to hijack this thread, but perhaps someone could provide their experience with this issue?

Also, congrats on 30 days! I have a 510 as well and loving it.

I never thought I'd say I like the condom idea until now. I actually punched holes in the packing "condoms" from my Boges so I can remove my driptip and allow someone to try my PV. I keep a couple in a small ziplock package. I'll have to find some alcohol pads soon. Good idea!

Yay!!!! Congrats on your one month milestone. Isn't vaping the greatest thing since the invention of potato chips? If you want, look at ECF's store(I'll find the link in a minute). They offer free business cards to hand out to people to encourage them to this website. All you pay for is the shipping fee. I have handed out so many cards, cause when people start asking questions, it can take a long time with all their questions. This way, and tell them 'Anything and everything you want to know is right here" and I hand them the card.
