Most states use a blood test, as it's accurate to within a few hours. At the time in Tucson, I believe they were using urine ,which is more of a historical artifact. Something weird happened, if I'm remembering correctly, that is what happened. I really try not to think about it too much, LOL. I'm not sure whether to attend the trial under some doctor-prescribed PRN medication, (not sure if it would make me more or less likely to wind up jailed for contempt of court) or to just avoid it entirely and let the Best Stepdad in the World support my son. I'm not sure I could handle seeing my kiddo hauled away in cuffs and I too own many, many stilettos.... Sigh.

My son would not do well at the state pen, he's a cute little white kid and the judge.... Well, let me say that "Helping the homeless" was her big agenda in the State House, and that's code around here for illegals.... :( I think I'm going to have to swallow something that will keep me seated, since if my kiddo gets hauled away, I should probably be there to witness it.

I feel so bad for the kid for genuinely rehabilitating himself and I don't know how he'd take it if the judge sentences him to any kind of time. He has fibromyalgia and interstitial cystitis and he's already told me he would off himself w/o his (multiple doc recommended tx) which is *not* allowed in prison and is the only thing that we've found to help. I'm hoping he gets probation again, but apparently the stop that was the "no big deal" is turning into the big one. :(

I kinda don't know how the kiddo sleeps at night, honestly. :( Youth? Optimism? His lawyer is practically doing the trial part for free he feels so bad for the kiddo....
