Thanks retriever! Ohhh, my pal dragonbone! Well it is very very awesome to be able to move up the voltage. Going up to 5 on this atty about kicks my ...., but i like around 5ish for the cartos! It sure sucks these things dry fast tho! Other than that, it is beautiful and gorgeous and works like a charm! (well once i figured out that i put the battery in backwards cuz i was so enchanted that i lost my mind for a second!)

I got mine as well this afternoon. First, the size really threw me for a loop, it was sooo tiny, I was expecting this huge tube, but it's nice and moderate. Construction is really good, nice system for changing voltages and whatnot. I've used my 1.5ohm DCC tank, and it's working well, great flavor and good vape. The 3ohm atty however is giving me a really weird taste...I think it just needs some breaking in. All in all, I'm happy I got one, and it has met all my expectations.

house mouse, what are you using on it and what voltage?

I'm dripping with the atomizer and drip tip it came with. I've been going back and forth between Lucky Leprechaun and French toast juices from FSUSA. I've pretty much settled in at 4.2 volts. 5 is a bit harsh for me. Although vaping at 3.7v isn't bad either and doesn't seem to run through the juice as fast. I got a 7ml tank with the order too. Once I can decide on what I want to fill it with, I'm going to try it out.

house mouse, yeah i was figuring i would be rockin out at 5.5 to 6 volts all day but man, not happening! I kinda like 4.7, 3.7 with lower resistance stuff. Yo vapo, i have never had another mod but to me it seems stout and durable, nice finish. Lol, only black now but I read that when it comes out to the general public which is supposed to be very soon, you should be able to choose between black, chrome and red!

I think it's really going to vary with the juice. I'm working on a coffee flavored vape now and I can't handle it at 4.2, it's too harsh. This one vapes better for me at 3.7

Congrats to all of you. The Lavatube is one of the mods i am looking at getting. I wanted to see what everyone thought of it first before choosing between that one and a few others. It looks pretty big to me, someone get a tape and measure how long it is will ya. I wonder when they will offer it to the public. I was on the site this morning and they dont even have it listed, but i did pick up a tube tank and some cartos for it.

Keeps us informed as to how it works, love to know how long the batteries last in it.

4 1/8" long and the diameter is roughly the same as a nickle.... It "really" is smaller than what it looks in all the review vids... I guess the camera really does ad ten lbs...lol...

Ive been debating on getting a vv mod and this one is on the list. Right now I'm using the EGO batteries that came with my kit along with a Bulli A2 atty. I'm happy with that setup and I wonder if I need the VV. Some love it and some get a VV only to use it a while and then go to a regular non VV setup.

Sooooo I'm confused. Do I need it? Or not. Would love to try it but Ive spent so much on vaping since starting this a few months ago that I don't want to waste my money on something I don't really need. Ive read many post on VV and some cant live without it and say once you go VV you can't go back. They say the flavors come out more at different Volts and on and on.

So can some of you post your experiences with this mod at different volts and what you experience with the flavors of the juice etc. It would help if you post what flavors you are using etc. I vape 90% tobacco so anyone that uses this thing with tobacco vapes and would chime in it would be appreciated. Would love to hear what everyone has to say about VV and why they love it or hate it. Please be as detailed as possible.

Thanks Dave:vapor:

One more thing is Ive been waiting for that new VV kick mod module to come out. It drops into a regular mod so if anything goes wrong you just replace the kick mod and the cost is said to be around $35. So if you have a mechanical mod there is nothing that can go wrong with it and it will last forever vs something like this lava tube that if it craps out you have to send it back and who knows what it would cost to fix, if they can fix it. So I'm still on the fence. Do I buy a mechanical mod and then buy the Kick or do I just get the lava tube and be done with it? Thats the dilemma.

But you guys are making my wallet itch. Congrats to you guys.

I've used my Ego for the last 13 months and was happy with it. Now though I'm weaned down to mostly 0mg liquid, and was looking for a way to spice it up, so to speak. This is good for me because it really makes my 0mg stuff taste more flavorful and richer, and it really increases the vapor production. None of mine are tobacco flavored but I imagine a vv would do the same for them. So whether you need it or not is up to you, but it does take it to a different level. But that said, I have no intention of giving up my Ego either. I stealth vape at work and there is no stinking way to stealth with this thing, that's for sure.

Dave... First off you would want to set up your Bulli to 3ohms since you currently have it at a LR set up I am guessing...

Just got mine around 10am west coast time and have been putting it through the paces... Wow is all I can say on being able to adjust the voltage... I have been mostly vaping Liquid Express Honey Flue Cured (I mix their pg and VG 50/50) for the last 2 hours and at 5.2 volts with a 3ohm atty and the flavor is really good but throat hit is insane. I also did a few rounds with NiteLiteVapor Cold Creek a menthol and got a better menthol burst than any of my 3.7 mods. I ran a bit of BWB Ejoker and moving up from 3.7-5.2 could really see the different flavs of the juice come out. At 5.2 with the Ejoker the hint of cinnamon was pronounced much more and so much TH I had to back it down a bit. Still have yet to try some Bobas or Gorilla juice as well as some RY4s. I will update later or tomorrow for you on the other juices.

Whether you go for a 3.7 tube mod or VV I think you will be much more satisfied than with the ego since it is a 3.4v device. Also if you choose the LT and found it was not for you you could easily unload on the classys.

I will try to be a bit more specific with volts later. Been playing to much with up and down to pay to much attention... lol...

I vape mostly tobaccos, and the lavatube has been awesome. First, my favorite, Bounty Hunter has really come alive. In an atty (3 ohm), it's great at 3.4 to 3.7, the flavor that I'm used to. Move up to 4.1-4.3, and it's much more powerful of a TH and a little more vapor. 4.6-4.9 is beast mode (for me at least) massive TH, clouds, and the I feel like I can taste all the flavors of the juice. Above 5, it just seems harsh...the flavor is there, but a little distorted.

PrimeVaping's Nostalgia (2.6ohm clearo) and PV4 (1.5ohmDCC and 2.4ohm atty) (both are natural tobacco extract bases) have been really interesting. At the usual 3.4V, it's good. at 3.7, more of the earthyness of the natural tobacco comes out, in a good way, especially if you like tobacco. Above 4V is where things really start to change. With nostalgia in the clearo, as the voltage goes up, the more burnt-tasting the tobacco becomes getting to the point where I'm fooled into thinking that i'm actually burning tobacco...it's super harsh at 6V. I tend to like it around 4.1-4.5...pretty big gap but it's good in there.

The PV4 in the atty was really good...3.7 it's a brighter taste than what I'm used to, I can make out all the caramel and vanilla and tobacco. from 4-5V, I can really get all aspects of the flavor. amazing...it was amazing until I got juice in my mouth and threw up...so I'm going to stay away from that flavor for a little while...

My thoughts, Land...How much is the Kick going to be, and are you willing to take out your battery and adjust it, put it back in...taste it, adjust it again, over and over until you're happy? How often do you change flavors, because that could get tedious. Don't forget you'll have to use a smaller battery to make room for it, so that's something to keep in mind as well. No matter, any mod you get, even a 3.7V, will be so much better. I'll my juices taste so different and new, even at 3.7 compared to the eGo I was using. It's a win-win...just depends on how much work you're willing to put into it with the changing.
