Itll be my first nice VV tube so I dont have a lot to comapre it to in that respect, but I will be looking for a good quality finish on mine. Ive heard some people recieved theres with some of the finish chipped and I dont want to join that club Haha. Im not to worried, and it looks to be everything i was looking for. Time will tell.

Well I have to say that I'm glad I got this Lt. It hits a lot better than my Ego batteries. But I can only go to about 4 v because anything over that and I start to get a burnt taste. Plus anything over that and my head will explode. I vape 24 nic and the nic absorption seems a lot higher even at 4 v. I like the fact that I can adjust the v to me and the time of day. In the morning I like a lower v and in the afternoon and evening I like to step it up as the day goes by.

With my Ego battery at 3.4v that was too much in the morning so I would have to take a smaller draw but after an hour or so it would be fine. Then as the day wore on I found that it was not enough and I found myself chain vaping, especially in the evening. Last night I bumped it up to 4.5 and I found that after a few draws it was enough for a while. Kinda like smoking a regular cig. You know, you smoke a cig and then your good to go for a while, then when you get the urge you smoke another cig a while later. Thats the experience that I get with the LT. I don't need to chain vape anymore. I can vape a little and put it down for a while.

It is a much better vape than the Ego batteries I was using. Even at 3.4 on the LT seems like a harder hit and at 3.7 it is a drastic difference. It doesn't seem like a few points in volts would make that much of a difference but it does. When I go to 4v it is just right. Lots of vapor and TH and a good taste. When I start to go above 4v I start to lose some flavor and I start to get a burnt taste. I'm using this on a Bulli A2 so your setup and experience will vary. This morning I tried it at 3v and it was perfect for a first thing in the morning vape with coffee. I soon stepped it up to 3.5 and by 10:00 am to 4 v. I don't know how some are going to 5 and 6 and 7v. I guess its the atty they are using. When I was using the EGO attys before I got the A2 I was using both the regular resistance and then I got a few LR. The LR were better and I got a better vape from them. But with the LT I don't think you would need LR because of how high you can go with the volts. I still consider myself a newbie so take what I say with a grain of salt.

So I feel like it was a great buy for me. I like the size and the feel of it and I would not want something that was heavier. My unit is nice, no blemishes and the connector is straight and the end cap screws on smooth. So I think they may have solved the issues that they had in the beginning.

I just ordered a bunch of DIY stuff in the last few days and I plan on playing around making my own juice. I'm tired of vendors junk juice and the good juice I found always being out of stock. So with my A2 and not having to buy attys and my Lt and hopefully being able to make my own juice I will be set, and hopefully I can start to save a little money. My A2 helped with that but buying juice all the time is killing me. So many bad juice suppliers out there and I don't know how some get the reviews they get. I wish I had all the money back I spent on bad juice. I spent $60 on juice on Black Friday and only a few are decent but I'm very disappointed, some I cant even vape they are that bad. Someone else may think they are good but for me they are terrible. These are from a very reputable vendor too. Sorry to get side tracked on juice but it just pisses me off. Anyway thats another discussion for another time.

My two best investments so far are the Bulli A2 and the LT, and now hopefully my DIY supplies.

Dave, I hear ya on the juices. I spent a lot over the Black Friday too, hoping to find something else that i would love, and I sit here now with about 20 (more) different bottles of stuff and the best ones were just okay.

I dont get a burnt taste over 4 -- but it really does hit hard, which I like. I thought Id be going at it at 6 volts but in reality i have only done 6 volts once lol. I am starting to find that different juices i like better at different levels. I think snickerdoodle is best at 3.5 to 3.7, chocolate mint needs to be down about 4 to 4.2, and gorilla juice i like cranked up to 4.9.

It was interesting to me that you like to turn up the volume into the evening because I do the same thing and i wondered if anybody else did that. First thing in the morning everything feels harsh so i crank it down. Then as the evening comes on it gets harder for me to feel a hard hit for some reason. I thought it was the battery wearing down but i tried switching them out in the evenings and the batteries dont make a difference so it must just be me.

I agree, i think the LT was a great investment for me!

Yeah it must be just you, because hypothetically it should keep the voltage the same until the battery is completely dead.

With the LT if you exceed the attys speck or crank it to high for the atty it will reset to a lower setting. What I have found is you have to sneak up on the high setting to find the max before it drops the power back down.

This is the only drawback I have found for me. I like to overclock my attys :) But in the long run it will be good for newer vapors it will keep them from blowing attys.

I love my Buzz Mods for this one reason I can power up to where I would like it with out the mod changing it.
The ProVeri will give you an E2 if you over power the atty making you drop the power by hand.

Its all personal preference. I do like my LT and will be picking up a few more down the road. I see there going to have silver in the upcoming months.

I am running my LT with a Carto tank right now using a 2.0 Boge carto set at 4v and its going well.

Just my 2c hope it helps.

Hey Creniker and dot! It looks like the Army Tank gang is here LOL. I ordered the LT today too and I've already got a shipping notice! My Army Tank chip burned out on me a few days ago and I don't have a vv backup.. Jmarkus is going to overhaul and upgrade it (to V2) but that's going to take some time (and $) I debated on whether to fix it or order the LT or get a vv madvapes box or just go ahead and spend the money for a provari..

I ended up ordering the vv madvapes box a couple days ago, sending the AT back to be fixed and ordering the LT today! I'm excited but also apprehensive. Right now I've got a bunch of 1.7 cartos and I'm afraid that the LT won't work well with them.. I like to vape the 1.7 at around 4 volts.. will it keep dropping me back down to 3volts? Should I go ahead and order some higher resistance cartos? I can't find XL smoktech cartos in the higher resistance (and stainless steel to go in my tanks) I may have to settle for Boge

edit: Oops.. I got the wrong person.. sorry dotma was thinking you were doots

Donnah, there is a good grimm green video, lemme find it -- hang on -- grimm green lavatube follow

there it is! He has an under load meter on there and shows exactly what it does with LR stuff. I dont think 1.7 will go up to 4 volts. My clearomizers say 2.4-2.6 volts and that goes up in voltage pretty good.

Hope you like your LT!

So outta my league. So a 3.7 device could be the way i go. A provari (read as any high ticket VV mod) are great IF you know what you want, i dont. {snop}

Congrats on quitting smoking! We all love our first device. Tell us what you hate once you get your second one...

well crap.. I just noticed that the LT kit comes with only one battery. I'll need at least 2. I wonder if the ones that superTmfg sells would work?

If I had realized this I would have gone ahead and ordered a second battery and got the 2 day shipping for free.

Yeah I got just the unit and two batteries. Any AW high drain will work from what i hear. Nipple or no nipple.

SuperTmfg is out of stock.. I just went ahead and ordered another from volcanoecigs, it only cost me $1.88 in shipping. So all in all I'm glad I got the kit so I'll have the HR atty, the extra charger, drip tip and carrying case. (just wish I could have ordered it all at once and got the 2 day shipping!)

Hmmm After ordering the LT and an extra battery yesterday I'm now hearing reports about the battery they sell not being the genuine AW brand. I'm not too concerned as long as it works and is safe. I also just saw where there is a Volcano kiosk at the Myrtle Beach SC mall (I assume it's the new Myrtle Grand mall) and that they are selling the Lavatube. I wonder how much the kiosk is selling it for.
