I started vaping with a eGo T with the wick. About a week later I bought a Protank 2 with a single coil. I found out later it was a clone. Still a nice progression from the wick. Better draw & taste.
A couple of days later I bought an eGo twist. It made a big difference. Much more vapor, still more taste. I kept getting a burnt taste sporadically. To long a drag.
Today I bought the Protank 3 dual coil & OMG what a difference. It draws great, the taste is much more pronounced. No burnt taste. Even on a long draw. I think I'm happy for now.
Question for more experienced vapers. What's my next progression in batteries & can I out put a dual coil in my old PT2. I guess I could just try it & see but figured I'd ask the powers that be & see what they say. Thanks for any feedback.

You can't put a pre-built dual coil in a PT2, but you can rebuild PT2 coils to perform like it. A diamond coil for example.

Your next battery progression may be an advanced personal vaporizer (APV) that allows variable wattage and higher power levels. It could be as simple as an Innokin iTaste vv3.0 or MPV2, or something with replaceable batteries like a SVD, Vamo, SID, ACE, ZMax, or even Provari.

And the slippery slope continues from there! Have fun!

Glad you like your PT3....I do too!

I started the same way and also have a protank 3 (fav. tank to-date) but I'd suggest looking into a Vamo for your next mod. Their not too expensive and I've never heard of any real issues with them! And if a vamo doesn't seem like something for you look into the SiD by Smoktech.

I love the way the VAMOs look but I keep reading people complaining that the threading gets ruined easily.

I was back and forth and chose the sid over the vamo. I like the single button, simple menu, and overall clean look. Want to get a shorty tube and see if the 18350 would last me a day to it a little more pocket friendly. I have big pockets (I'm a big guy) so even in full 18650 mode it's not a problem, just wanting it a bit shorter to help "stealthify" my vape at work.
