I've had my OMGAD for about a month and a half, used daily as my primary PV, and decided to give it a good once over to make sure it's working like it's supposed to. I checked voltage at the connector compared to the battery, both came up at 4.16v so all good there but then I noticed that it's always sending 0.1v to the connector, is this normal? I would think that with a mechanical switch and no PCB's the connector would be dead until I hit the button.
OMGAD always sending voltage, normal?

John81 sir mine says 0.03v when not hitting the button and the battery within is at 4.19v. It's not enough to cause me to worry. Is your multimeter calibrated properly?
I used my meter at school several years ago, I wouldn't trust it for building circuits anymore but it works heh. I wasn't concerned about the 0.1v, more that there was any voltage at the connector.
I don't store my PV's with carto's on them so I won't worry about it then, just wanted to make sure it wasn't shorting out somewhere.

Don't think so John sir. Will see if I can figure out the why over the next few days.
