Forget about finding that perfect tobacco flavor that you are use to. It's not going to be there. I've tried about 15 different kinds. The only thing you can possibly do is to get something close To what your use to. And remember that when someone gives you their favorite juice to get, that may not appeal to you, because everybody's taste buds are different. You just have to buy the smallest bottles you can get and try for yourself.

Now that being said VictorC has started this thread with a good review on Flavour Crafters juice. Some of them I had already tried, but one he did not have in his review was Flavour Crafters Navy Cut Tobacco. It has a slight vanilla and nutty taste. (most tobacco juice will have some slight taste like that). Me and the wife love this one and it tasted close to the cigs we were use to. I started Jan 4 2014 with this one being my first try and after about 2 hours I knew that I was done with cigs. (at least I hoped so). Fast forward to today I have not touched a cig since Jan 4 2014. We had 4 other flavors to try that were OK but we liked the Navy Cut Tobacco the best. I'm getting in to DIY right now but if that don't work out for me I will be back to Navy Cut Tobacco. Could give them a try and maybe you can get some free samples also like VictorC did.

And yes VG will have a sweet taste to it so I would say to stick with 70/30 PG/VG for now unless you are allergic to PG. I started with 70/30 18mg and that is where I have stayed so far. 18mg is like a mild cig. 24mg is like smoking Export A with no filter. I tried Flavour Crafters Export Tobacco in 24mg and found it to harsh and strong for me, but you may like it.

Hope this helps you a bit and stay of the stinkies.

I should just add that if I could not get Flavour Crafters Navy Cut Tobacco any more for some reason I would switch over to Vapen Juice
Play Hers--- 18mg or Vapen Juice 555--- 18mg. Both can be bought a lot cheaper at Canvape.com

Thank you for your informative answer Bobx. I agree with you, all of the tobacco flavors i have tried before were sweet. Im not looking for a perfect flavor anymore. I just want a decent flavor which has a strong throat hit that doesnt cause scratchiness on my throat. Until now BOBAS BOUNTY 100VG 12mg and BEETLE JOOSE 50PG/50VG 12mg havent worked. I will go to a store in downtown now to see what i can find. Im going to order some Flavor Crafters tonight. Im not giving up yet, I really want to quit smoking :)

My 2 cents worth - East Coast Vapes (ECV) Canadian Player. I prefer tobacco vapes. I've tried all of Halo's tobaccos, a couple from Maple Leaf, two from Canada E-Vape and one from Flavour Crafters , but I keep coming back to ECV's Canadian Player. Its the closest flavour to actual Players brand cigarettes (my smoke for 40+ years) that I've found. It's a little sweeter, but still has that flavour that I love. I vape their standard PG/VG mix (60/40) at 18mg nic - good flavour, good throat hit, good vapor.

East Coast Vapes, Canadian Player

Do you have any flavor shots added? I have been using nothing but Flavor Crafters Northern 7 and really like it. I need to find some other flavors so I don't burn out. I order all my hardware from ECV so adding juice to the order is easy. Looking at getting 12 nic in a 70/30 mix.

No, I've never had a vendor add flavour shots to any of my e-liquid orders. A couple of reasons is that I really don't know what to add, or what a particular addition will do to the flavour of the liquid; I don't know enough about e-liquid mixology. I've recently tried Flavour Crafters Navy Cut tobacco (18mg nic, 70/30 - PG/VG) and find it quite nice as well. It's a little less sweet than ECV's Canadian Player, with a slight nutty undertone. Because of my very long history with the Players brand cigarette, I'm always looking for that type of flavour. Both the ECV and the Flavour Crafters come close, but are slightly different from each other and from the actual cigarette taste. Nonetheless, they are close enough to satisfy me, however I will keep looking for the ultimate tobacco flavour - that's part of the fun :).

BTW, based on a couple of comments from folks on this forum, I ordered some Player e-liquid from Nice Vapor. I should have it in a couple of days to try out.

Would love to hear your thoughts on that one. Price is comparable.

I'll let you know when I've had a chance to try it. Personally, price is normally my least important criteria; I draw the line at Mother's Milk Obsidian edition - lol. Pretty well all e-liquids in Canada sell for $15-$20 for a 30ml bottle, give or take - that's two packs of smokes and I was smoking around a pack a day, so I'm still ahead of what I was spending on my old (filthy) habit. For me, it's all about taste and a respectable throat hit. The one thing about Nice Vapor e-liquid that's a bit bothersome, or strange is that their largest bottles are only 15ml (30ml, or larger, are not available) and you can't purchase smaller 7ml or 10ml sample bottles. Not a big deal, I guess, but certainly a departure from the way other vendors operate.

If your interested in buying cheaper than you can at Flavor Crafters warehouse check out this place. He sells nothing but Flavor Crafters. But min order is $150. That would be 10 > 30ml bottles @ $15 a bottle. He's in BC but your order would be sent from the warehouse in Ontario. I bought 15 > 30mil @ $12 a bottle on a Fri and received it on the following Wed. and I am also in BC.

good to know, thank you. Will need to place a small order of different flavors to find a few worth ordering at that size of volume/price.
