China pays nothing to export goods to the US. Thus companies such as fasttech or Apple pay nothing to export the goods manufactured there.

Some US politicians want to charge tarrifs for any goods shipped into the US.

Now since we don't have a country full of workers dying to get their manufacturing jobs back for $1.15/week.. China will continue to be our primary source of e-cig supplies. With or without the FDA's permission.

Yeah some politicians...
will never happen at least in the next decade.
it would cut into US companies profits.

I call BS. If Trump is elected.. Maybe the cost of trade will go up after a few years of legislation. If he isn't the FDA will have to deal with NAFTA. Either way.. We have at least 5 or 7 years of Fasttech and Alibaba bliss.

Good Luck with that :)

How so? I can pay $13 for a top of the line clone manufactured in the same factory as the original and pay no shipping costs as long as I'm willing to wait two weeks.

How are you paying for that transaction?

The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) is an agreement between Canada, U.S.A and Mexico.

Until such time as Kanger or Joyetech or some such sets up manufacturing operations in Canada or Mexico NAFTA has nothing to do with FDA deeming. ALthough stirring NAFTA into the mix could be interesting or not.

Fair enough. I meant the trade wars that Trump wants to wage in China. My bad.

I bought 18 120ml brown glass bottles to store the 2 liters of nic I have coming.. to add to what's already in the freezer. I'll add more as time goes by. I doubt I'll buy anything else with electronics.. I plan on my REOs to keep me going if it all goes south. I'll be purchasing spare parts and maybe more REOs plus extra bf attys. I have 6 kayfuns, several subtanks and a couple DIDs... which can all be used on my REOs if need be. Plus I plan to invest in more tube mechs. I'm in full vapeprepper mode but I'm trying to be smart about it.. stock piling stuff that is simple, repairable and will last for years. Plus 2 provaris that I'm hoping will really last forever ;)

I'm fortunate I got into rebuilding and diy years ago.

What is this one flavor that you use?
I'm covered for bottles. 2-1/2 yrs ago I seriously contemplated DIY, knew I needed bottles & bought 20 120ml of them. Those bottles never saw a drop of nic. Well, at least that's one thing I can scratch off my list.

Quick question all - with the deeming regs, won't you still be able to buy Chinese based Vape gear and import it ? At the moment I am really loving the joyetech innovations. The Chinese are producing some really good mods and tanks lately.

Don't think so. Not legally after August anyway. FDA is fully aware of the increases of imported goods entering the US from China in the last few years or so. Would not surprise me to start hearing about seizures sometime after Aug 9 or so......
I don't think there is anything these deeming regs haven't touched on except personal possession and/or personal use. Don't think(yet anyway) that they can do much to these items in your possession, but don't take my word solely on that. That, I believe would be a court battle they would lose.

We hope so. But some countries confiscate the gear, and the intended recepient gets a heavy fine.

Any one want to buy a variable voltage single cell 18650 flashlight........

There are so many ways around all of this. Just read all the things flying around on the forum. I really believe, the more I think about it, the FDA is about 2 years too late to stop vaping, or even gain control of it on the gear front.

It's the nic my friends, that is the only issue you will have here.
