I think I may be up SC without a paddle. My work announced that all of the OT will be cut out until mid August. I have plenty of rda's, rta's, mods, and wire. I managed to snag 3 litters of nic. I'm 7 litters short. I guess what I have will have to work for as long as it can.

So if I get 4 liters I should get about 17 240 ml bottles and then some 60 or 30 ml bottles! That sounds very doable for me!
Yeah, just figure out what you will need to break the 240's down into, and have a few extras. I've even got a bunch of green glass 50 ml nip bottles that originally had Jaegermeister in them ;) It ain't rocket science.

I wrap my bottles of nic in aluminum foil so the color of my bottles doesn't matter at all. I just ordered some more 120ml clear glass. The clear is usually a lot cheaper than either amber or blue. I try to save when ever I can. :D
I've said this before, not sure if it was in this thread or another:

If I were buying bottles today with the intent of re-bottling my long-term nic, I would buy clear bottles. As stated, it's dark in the freezer, so light is not an issue for long-term storage. But clear glass gives you a distinct advantage. It allows visual inspection of your nic-base without opening the bottles. That way, if I saw any of my base beginning to turn darker, I would use that first, rather than simply using the oldest first (my oldest nic is now 2-1/2 years).

However, all my nic is already in amber glass (and argon purged), and I do not think the advantage that clear glass provides in that respect warrants re-bottling it.

I used clear bottles for the same reason, it's dark inside my freezer and I needed -a bunch- of bottles. The price for the clear was less than $0.50 each which included the poly-cone caps, saved enough over the price of colored glass to pay for a couple liters of nic.

The freezer is really dark! The appliance bulb went out over six months ago and we always forget to get a new bulb! Now there is no need!
Thanks for the thumbs up on GBO! They do have black poly cone caps. Those should be good? Right?
Yes, poly cone caps are what's typically advised.

I have wondered at times whether a foil-seal cap wouldn't be better at keeping oxygen out though.

yep, I just bought 30 of them for $15.00 and that included shipping :)

for anyone that would like to check out this seller. I don't remember who it was but someone else had bought from the seller and was pleased with the service so I placed an order yesterday and it is already on its way to me.

120ml (4 oz) Boston Round Glass Bottle with Black Poly Cone Caps (Set of 30 Pcs)

Now, that is a good idea. If I order 10 half ounce bottles and 10 four ounce bottles, the bill would be 7.90, 14.46 with shipping. Much less expensive and less space in freezer. The four ounce bottles for long-term, and the half ounce bottles for working use.

That's a great idea. Thanks.

Thanks :)
The deeming regs came out two days after I started vaping, so all I knew were cartridges.

The main thing that put me off RBA's was the the idea of not having cartridges to rely on in an emergency.
I knew that the only way to survive the vapocalypse was to use RBA's, so I resigned myself to having to carry a spare tank.

When I decided to standardize on the Kayfun Lite for my prepping, I found that spare bases and chimneys were surprisingly affordable, so it seemed like the logical thing to do.

I'm going to make a small container with a 510 thread to carry a spare 'cartridge'.

Well that's bad timing. May not be the end of the world though. There's no certainty that nic will be unobtainable any particular time. Most folks are buying it now, just in case. But it could still be available through next year. There's even a chance that nic will still be available after mixed juice disappears. Partly depends which State you live in. If you are in Florida you can go pick it up from the shop. If you live in Indiana the world ends in a couple of weeks.

I wish you luck.

What will your container with the 510 thread consist of? I would be interested to know what you have in mind there.

7 liters short! That's serious. You sure you can't just eat a lot of Ramen to get, at least, a little closer?

I thought I'ld just throw one in an empty pill bottle.

    Today I ordered from FT 5 Toptank mini's and RBA's. Elsewhere I ordered a SXminiQ. I have a IPV6 on preorder.

I think these will fill out my vape stash. I've been having fun these last few days playing with the Sig V3 VV/VW tube mod along with a Nautilus mini+RBA. Then my TTM order came in and I wondered why I was messing with such a small deck on the Nautilus?

While I have a bunch of other stuff I think the STM/TTM tanks will be my mainstay stash. Lots of tanks, spare parts and of course RBA's. There is room enough to build into the Sig Vmax V3/V5 resistance range so with SS430 (I have somewhere between 190-200' of it) I should be all set.

Talking about age verification...I just placed an order from Madvapes the other day. They have an age verification on their page. It says that they use public information with your name and address to verify something like that and if you have recently moved it may not show up. I tried and said it could not verify. I tried again and entered my old address again it could not verify. I entered in my husband's name and address and it was instantly verified. I am 41. This system is going to cause a lot of headaches. If you can't get verified I'm thinking then you have to send them your ID/driver's license. Thoughts?

RTS Vapes has been using a system like this for years now. I am not sure if that will be the same system used for the new age verification requirements or not. Are you saying that this is brand new with MV? It has been a little while since I placed an order with them.

Another thing I've been thinking of, not to cause more gloom, but, is the supply question. Nic, for example. I'm thinking if these vendors order supplies by the quarter maybe, with the impending changes coming I doubt if they've been concerned with stocking for their 4th quarter. There probably won't be one.
I'm wondering if we're looking at shortages appearing very soon...
My final order is going in today. Just too much of a gamble to wait for July 4th sales.

Aah man, don't say that. I can't finish my nic supply until July 1st. I only have enough for 13 years. I don't plan on ever quitting. I was going to pick up a liter of 200 mg which will give me an additonal 22 years. I'm 41...35 years from now I'll be 76. If I'm still around by then, I'm sure it won't be a problem to quit then. I want to quit when I decide and I don't plan on it for a very long time.

I am looking at bottles from glass bottle outlet and they are so low priced compared to some other companies! I want really good amber bottles because they are going to be in the freezer a really long time!
NN has bottles but they are a bit pricey! But I don't mind paying more if it protects my nic!
Any bottle companies that would be recommended???

I've used Glass Bottle Outlet. I had no problems. I got amber ones, buy I've gotten some awesome 30ml cobalt blue bottles for my juice. They're awesome.

I did that too. I wrapped each one in aluminum foil and put two a piece in freezer bags. I used amber, but the clear ones are cheaper so I'm going that direction when I get the rest of my nic.

Oh, ok. It was my first order with them. I plan on getting more things from there. They are based in NC so it is really close to TN. I thought with all this age verification stuff coming up that they were getting a headstart. Still though, what happens if the verification system can't verify you? That is what happened to me. Luckily my husband's went through.[/QUOTE]

I just ordered 5 subtank minis and 2 more subtank nanos. They were such a good deal from bevapehappy I had to pop! I hear alot about replacement parts for tanks. .. what kind of stuff awe we talking about? I'm going to buy a bunch of rba decks so I can build. Other stuff like Orings ect. I'm not sure about.
The news about mbv not shipping to cali kind of rattled me today. I'm in the bay area. Got a feeling I need to get my nicotine sooner than August 8th. I have enough for me but I want to help out friends and would be vapers.
Im in the mental health system and 90% of us smoke. I was locked up and started smoking a pack and a half a day because there was nothing else to look forward to.
Since I started 2 years ago I've been on a crusade helping mentally ill folks quit smoking. I've given a bunch of my old stuff away to newbie vapers.
Vaping saved my life and is saving tons of mentally ill people. I'm hoarding and prepping not just for me, but for my people.
I think nicotine will be A currency in the near future. I think it's amazing it hasn't been regulated and cracked down on yet. I'm filling the freezer.

I don't know. I am trying to remember because I know that there were a few that RTS system would not verify back then. I just can't remember what they did about it.

I do have a friend that lives in IL and was going to place an order with GB yesterday. They asked him for either a copy of his DL or a copy of his credit card. He did not go through with the order.

We used to have a member here from FL that was helping homeless people to quit smoking and start vaping. That was quite a challenge as you could imagine. They had no regular places to charge, etc. Plus, that was back when PVs were not quite as powerful as they are today.

No clue why your post made me think of him. But, it did.
