Stockpiling is important so we aren't so easily intimidated but they have the authority to make compounding rules. Anyone who combines anything with nicotine for vaping without their permission, even for personal use, would be breaking the law.

I think the FDA is setting up a bargaining position, playing us for chumps. We'll wear ourselves out protesting the rules then be so greatful for the little scraps of relief they magnanimously bestow.

The capital city of public health is Flint Michigan, not far from where I live. Public health is corrupt and incompetent.

It's hard for me to talk to people I don't respect.

Stockpiling is important so we aren't so easily intimidated but if we get to uppity they could respond with compounding rules. Anyone who combines anything with nicotine for vaping without their permission, even for personal use, will be breaking the law. I bet you didn't think of that one.

That is why i prepare. Just to make Petty Bureaucrats irrelevant.

Not that I think it's nessary but if your going to stock pile mods I would wait till right before the hammer drops. Not that I think it actually will as there is alot of time between now and then. But the tech will advanced and what ever you buy today will be outdated. This can be seen even today with the release of Proteus by gg which is the only real temp control mod. Times have changed alot since I started vaping 6+ years ago and they will change again. Although I have around 60 mods myself haha.

The three things I worry most about are:
    1. Nicotine
    2. Tanks
    3. Mods
While I've stock piled more than enough nicotine for +10yrs of vaping (even longer if I reduce my mg content), the tank glass and parts will eventually wear out needing replacement. I have a few dozen tanks (all are rebuildabe atomizers) so as long as I can get my hands on some spare parts here or there I'm not to dreadfully worried. Mods on the other hand I have a bit of a worry. While out of over a dozen mods only two have failed in someway all of them still work.

Suppliers like Digikey sell all sorts of electronic parts and having a background will help me simply design a DC-DC powersupply with off the shelf parts that may not operate as fancy as any of my modern mods, it likely would work just fine for vaping.

I suspect that there will be a thriving black market for most 'deemed' items. Even tricks like ordering a few obvious non-vape items and including *one* in the same order might be enough to get through customs. Then again, some off the off shore suppliers will likely be tagged as "inspect all" because of prior or suspect vaping device shipments.

personally, I am loaded for Bear when it comes to surviving anything the FDA throws my way.

However, I believe we will see vape gear on sale for mere pennies on the dollar when there is no eLiquid to use with it.

IMO, this will start happening long before the 2 year mark ... I'm thinking Octoberish
Yeah they have to file as a tobacco outlet or somesuch at the end of this year.

Digikey sells the exact same DC/DC converter used in the Hexohm mods.

I understand stocking screws and o-rings for the convenience of have one on hand when needed. But surely no one expects deeming to affect the supply?

I would hope no one thinks that. The o-rings and screws used in various atties are not even remotely specific to vaping.

Question though how to get the nic out of the bag if it has really really small shards of glass if the bottle does break...using a Syringe?
I'll cross that bridge if I ever meet it, but first thought, Small snip of the corner of the bag, let contents drain into capture container. Let glass settle and siphon off solution with syringe. Saving 90-95% of contents of a sample vs tossing into waste stream... Priceless.

I just picked up one more IPV D2 as a stash away. That makes 6 VV mods with replaceable cells. If that doesn't make it till the end so be it, I'm done buying mods. I've got 8 RBA's and plenty of spare parts for them, check, done with tanks. Lots, I'm gonna stick with lots as the description, Lots of nic in the freezer now.

The rest I can get whenever I want, as certain things will be around forever, (wick, wire, VG, PG) so I think I'm done with prep mode.....now back to business as usual.
I should be done but I have a new mod and a new tank that I love so I want another one of each for the just in case scenario;) I think I will also order a couple of more boxes of coils for a couple of tanks that don't have RBAs. And I may grab another mech mod just because I saw one I want, so now I am down to the want not the need. I'm good on everything else and won't have to buy anything other than flavors for diy for quite a while.

Where did you find it at a good price by the pound at?I checked Temco, and for a pound of 26 gauge, they want $125,i'm not paying that haha,i'll just keep buying it 100' at a time.
I did the math. The larger spool you buy, the less it costs per foot.

Then a couple months later, I did the rest of the math. I'd only used about 6".

Anybody want about a 1/4 mile of 24 gauge A1 at a good price? [emoji38]

I have the same problem with my box of rayon. I may have used a few of the 500 feet in the last year

Going to have to think up another way of using it up :)

At least you had some common sense and only got the 500 foot box,i went and got the 3 pound box,i don't know how many feet is in it,but considering how light rayon is,it's got alot in there haha.Me and my son have both been using it for well over a year, plus i gave some to a friend, and i doubt i have even went through a 1/2 pound yet,so i think i'm pretty well set for wick for the rest of my life haha.
