I just wind my coils and then shove the rope in. If you size your coil to the size of the Silica rope it is fairly quick and painless process. The rope can handle over 1000F so it is durable and lasts months. (no worries of getting burnt during normal vaping temperatures ether)

Silica rope is about all I use anymore.
Silica indeed lasts much longer but I find it has a taste I dislike that isn't there with
cotton or rayon.
I use mostly rayon now, but have some japanese cotton I use on drippers
and some silly rope in my end of the world stash..the stuff they give you
with spare screws and o-rings that get put in a drawer.

If you haven't tried rayon I highly recommend it. It doesn't burn like cotton and it's tasteless

Regards,
Hazy

Ok, you're bossy...Do ya work at Disney?
But like somebody else said, what will you do when your nephew isn't around?
Oh I totally plan on learning. I am the person that fixes the electronics and computers in my house. I am even better then my 16 year old. So it should be fun. I am looking forward to learning DIY juice first. I love Mountain Oak Vapors Static so I am going to head in that direction first. BTW. They call me Sarge in my house. LOL

Well Sarge, didn't i say you're bossy? LOL.
Yea, I suggest you gopher DIY first. It's great fun and there are many here who can give you their 2 centavos gladly.
But you need to learn to roll eventually...it doesn't look like getting coils is gonna stay easy.
On last April Fool's there was a fake story that China is going to outlaw ecig stuff.
The problem is that some guy in Hong Kong really is trying to do that.
Let's say just for argument that US pressures China as part of some
trade deal, maybe to avoid the high import tariffs Donald is talking about..and they make all this stuff illegal. See?
Learn to DIY and be self sufficient, Sarge.
You can still be bossy...I am

Hopefully it was a small order. Pennies lost isn't so bad :) I only saved $6:(
Actually it was a rather large order.....I cancelled it and got a gc. Turns out this chromebook I am on is the reasons for the coupon code not working. As soon as I got onto a real computer and used firefox, the world was right again.
Thanks again for everyones help. And now we wait.........lol

Coupon worked for me. I needed another Evic mini like a hole in the head so of course I ordered another one.
Actually you reminded me of what I forgot to order this morning..So after I cancelled the existing order, I remembered it this time.....lol and I got the discount to work....so it all worked out for the best
:)

China IS where vapers used to get all their vape stuff years ago....

No doubt about it. I am in Australia and when I started vaping in 2010 I was buying most of my gear from Eastmall, Heavens Gifts and Health Cabin. Most U.S. Juice vendors were rebranding Chinese Dekang and Hangsen liquids. Once organic and natural flavors started being the new thing the two markets branched off into different segments.

i will be buying one of the kits from fasttech. also forgot about the LEMO. LOL I hope all this just sits in my vapageddon stash forever.
I consider the Lemo a little harder to build than some others. I got most of my coil building tools from around the house. Actually all of them. Some drill bits, some jewelers screwdrivers, nail clippers, reading glasses, tweezers..thats about it

I had better success when I just tried to DIY something that simply smelled good to me, without expectations. Attempting to duplicate some other juice, especially in the beginning, yielded a lot of juice down the drain.

When I first started DIY juice I first experimented with what ratio of PG/VG I liked best. Much to my surprise I mostly never made it to the 'flavor' stage as I found a PG/VG unflavored blend to my liking and I grew tired of whatever flavors I tried far to quickly to bother with.

Then I am really glad I ordered 2 pro varis and have some mods in my Vapeageddon stash. Crud now I have to order more egos.
The provaris should be enough. :)
Batteries should be alright..the LED torches use those..
but I have a few in the freezer just in case...I'm worried about
major catastrophes going down..FDA has been trying to mess with my life for years now
and I keep laughing at them....but it doesn't hurt to be prepared

There is corruption at all levels including the highest levels and I expect that will also be the case in the US where there will be billions (not millions) of black and grey market dollars to be made. (After all, you guys are so much more corrupt than Aussies :p)
Exactly. All the laws haven't interrupted the flow of other illegal items.
What the gub'min is doing is creating another underground industry
that will require much money to contradict and many more weapons
for all the different SWAT entities.
But they can't destroy the persistent spirit of liberty.

So what kind of tools should I purchase from Fasttech to be able to rebuild these atomizers and learn how to make coils? I am buying the kanger mini v3, Kanger v2 and an Igo.

Rebuilding is intimidating at first but gets way easier.

Raid a tool drawer for screwdrivers both Phillips and flat screwdrivers.

I snip 26 and 28 gauge Kanthal with Dollar store fingernail clippers.

I would recommend you buy 3 pieces of gear.

Ohm meter so you have good idea of your build.

Ceramic tweezers. These do not conduct the current to you so you can fire the s
Coil and squeeze the wires together at the same time.

You may or may not want to get a coil jig.

If you are using RDAs s jig with multiple rods is a good option.

If yoy are going to be using RTAs. Most common RTAs have smaller build decks snd about tge largest coils most RTAs can USS is 2.0, and 2.4 mm coiks.

The little blue screwdriver that comes with most attys is 2.0 mm. You may have a 2.4 mm screwdriver that is 2.4-5 mm.

since I am used to the silica wicks is that what I should buy or should I get some kind of cotton?

There are many cotton pada for vaping such as Meiji, kojendo, Kendo, etc.

Before i switched from cotton to Dacron i just went to Walgreens and bought organic cotton balls.

    Dacron..interesting..For a second there I wondered if you're Russian.
Can you compare Dacron with Rayon, please?
