I admit I have not been able to find any concrete evidence that WA state will ban online sales 8/8/16. What I did find is this:
2016 Legislative Agenda | Washington State

To increase youth prevention and consumer safety, HB 1645 / SB 5573 will:

  • Prohibit the sale of e-cigarettes and vapor products without a license, and allow the Liquor and ........ Board to issue fines to stores caught selling e-cigarettes to minors;
  • Require school districts to prohibit use of e-cigarettes on school property, including school buses and other school vehicles;
  • Restrict the sale of e-cigarettes over the internet or in unsecured displays;
  • Require listing of ingredients and warning labels on the packaging of vapor products;
  • Require child-resistant packaging for all e-cigarettes.
-- which does not remotely address *banning* online sales; and this: Ban on Internet and Mail-Order Tobacco Sales | Washington State

--which only seems to address tobacco itself, not e-cigs.

But I am so confused because if the FDA classifies e-cigs as tobacco, what does that mean regarding the above?

I have no problem being wrong; I am actually quite good at being wrong. And this whole comment of mine is probably better suited for the main FDA Regs megathread.

The last thing I want to do is perpetuate the spread of misinformation.
You can't see the forest for the trees.

Restrict the online sales of ecigarettes online sounds like a ban to me.

yeah, I have to get off my a*s and get stocked up for the "dry" future......... I have been so busy I have just not thought much about it (not good)..........
Hopefully your state won't bring the hammer down on you. That was my fear so I made sure it wouldn't affect me if mine does.

    Tell that to all the Medical ......... dispensaries raided by the Feds. And if you don't think that'll happen with vaping you're fooling yourself ;)
    I agree completely.

    We have an unholy aliance wanting to DESTROY Vaping.

    1. Big Tobbaco
    2. Big Pharma
    3. The States want big $ in taxation
    4. The _____ing FDA.

    If you like vaping and wish to continue PREP!

    I know that feeling so well. I'm not sure just how much I have now but I am pretty sure I will be able to resist buying any more after adding the last 2 a few days ago :D
    I just couldn't help it. I knew I probably had enough for the rest of my life. After all, I don't plan on living that much longer anyway. But, it just kept bugging me!

    I'm all better now.

    Now, to start an inventory, make a list with links, and wait for July 4th sales!

    I couldn't help myself any longer. I just bought another liter.
    :lol: I just grabbed a couple of 250ml 100's just because, I figure they might come in handy to help out a friend in need down the road. If I see any carazy low prices as Aug. gets closer, I'll be grabbing more as an "investment" purchase. There's a huge potential being offered up here, thanks to our good friends at the FDA :lol:

    I think those businesses will be OK in states that have passed laws allowing them. We just moved our daughter's family to Denver last week, and it seems to be business as usual there. Unfortunately, the ecig perception is much worse at this time and states are being much more punitive about them. Pretty damn ironic.
    Just because Obama's Justice Dept turns a blind eye does NOT mean the next Administration will!

    All of my flashlights also use 18650's.
    As far as stocking up, he mentions a good point.....many devices will be put out between now and 8/16 so they will fall in the pre date. I want to wait and see what's coming out and how well it works before I stock up on devices atm.
    We have two years as 'Business as usual' for current devices.
    If it comes down to it I'll buy laptop batteries and extract the 18650's!

    But it won't, the Chaos regulating them would be a funny thing to watch though [emoji23]

    read it again and you will see why it is confusing. It says
    Prohibit the sale of e-cigarettes and vapor products without a license,
    Restrict the sale of e-cigarettes over the internet or in unsecured displays;

    It doesn't say anything about purchasing on-line. It just covers selling on-line.

    Nice looking tank, saved this post for future reference :thumbs:

    This thread got me to try out them Fasstek Kayfun v3 mini's for 12$, it immediately became my new go to daily driver. I can't believe how much the manufacturing of these clones has improved in the last year or so. I ordered a few more as backups for down the road.
    You should get one.

    Five times easier to build on than a Kayfun.

    Nice appearance

    Good flavor

    Great airflow.

    In the Nebula Wine you get the flavor of s Kayfun.

    Better airflow than a Kayfun Monster

    The ease of building on an RBA for the Subtank Mini.

    Good, glad to hear :) ..... The commies (gvt) can't wreck it for all of us :)

    The 18650 cells in laptop batteries are generally NOT high-drain. That makes them dangerous to use in moderate or high powered devices. I would suggest cordless power tool battery packs as a much safer choice; they will have high-drain cell in them.

    Restrict Internet sales sounds like a ban to me. Will have to agree to disagree here.

    Now the new regs can be confusing, I've watched several vids of lawyers and such, but not having a law degree left me still a bit confused. Probably the best video for the average person to understand, at least for me anyways, was the Totally Wicked Discussion <<< Vid link

    Can't put my complete faith in this- though for me , it us irrelivent - I DIY

    1) We will be in that 1% - well, there is selection for you
    2) Nothing is going to Happen for at least 2 yrs. - Except States increasing Regulations/Taxes/Etc.
    3) FDA reversed course on Flavors - umm...No......OBM threw it out.

    Not sure, can Totally Wicked sell e-liquids in Indiana? o_O

    I do appreciate that they and other large companies are taking an interest and supporting the battle to save what we can. Still, we must get the Predicate changed and/or a win in the Supreme court and the FDA to Not file Appeals.
