Found this:

O Ring Lube

I think VG is the route I will take. Maybe a mason jar with a plastic lid with a silicone seal in the plastic lid.

Just store my o'rings in the jar soaking with VG.

I have added one set to the jar and will date it.

Research beginning :)

I have nic that has been frozen since 2009. Found the bottle not long ago. I re-tested it and it is basically the same as when I froze it. In September it will be 7 years. I put it back in the freezer. Had no clue it was in there. Researching and did not realize it :)

I have pre-made juice in a wine cooler set at a constant 55 degrees. I still have a bottle of Bounty Hunter VG...anyone remember that :) it has been in the wine cooler for YEARS and it is as if I just bought the bottle. Again, researching and did not realize it :)

I agree semiretired but with the STM it looks like it might be an 'odd' o'ring in the mix so really, I do not feel like I have a choice but to stock those o'rings and seek a way to preserve them.

I'm going to "preserve" mine with this. ;) FoodSaver® The #1 Vacuum Sealing System

I'm also a new convert to the STM and am really loving it. I've used the PT2's almost since I started vaping. It's a nice Jello pudding. The STM is a very good creme brulee.

I don't know if I would say "Unlimited"? Or even if the STM are Silicone? I believe they are. But here is a Shelf Life Chart for different types of O-Rings.

What is O-Ring Shelf Life?

Those of you stocking up on Subtank Mini's:

How many extra bases will you have?
How many glass tank replacements will you have?
How many extra RBA's will you have?
How many complete subtank mini's will you have?
How many extra o'rings will you have?

I am new to the STM and I want to see on a average, how many 'extra things' you are stockpiling to maintain the STM for the long haul. Hoping I can get a idea of what I might need.

    TYIA

A little FYI, I have found that you can use a kanger upgraded dual coil in the STM.

Flip one of the clear cup seals that slide down the post of a single coil protank upside down on the upgraded dual coil post and it works perfectly.

I got my first STM a few days ago and this is all I have used.

Never tried the coils that come with it nor have I built anything on the RBA. Using the upgraded dual coil with the single coil cup seal flipped upside down on the post, I Have vaped many tank fulls down to the last drop with no leaking or gurgling.

ALSO, using the upgraded dual coil, if you take a piece of 1/8" heat shrink tube (it is the exact diameter of the STM air chamber), slide it down the air chamber tube of the STM, fill the tank to the top with eliquid, use the post of the upgraded dual coil to slide the tube out the drip tip end and quickly screw on the base, you can fill the STM to the top with only a drop or 2 of eliquid lost. If you do it fast, you lose no eliquid.

This might work with the RBA and coils that come with the STM. Not sure but can not see why it would not work the same other than, you can not fill it all the way to the top due to the size of the STM original coil and RBA.

This is how I filled up my aerotank giants and it works just the same with the STM.

I just did the totals, not tanks all put together

How many bases will you have? 11 total
How many glass tank replacements will you have? 9 total
How many RBA's will you have? 10 total
How many extra o'rings will you have? 15 sets total for the tank
    Plus:
Bell Caps - 3 glass, 10 Poly (my ADV is not a tank cracker, so I use the poly bells mostly)
    1 extra peek insulator
    random # o-rings for RBAs
    random # screws for RBAs

My Aromamizers from Vapor Beast came in today. I have walked as much on the wild side (Sub-ohm) as I care too for the past two weeks so they will be put away for a later time and I will consider myself fully stocked with Sub ohm gear. That is two of those and 5 Lemos put away

I had $28 in rewards points at RTS. I couldn't let that go to waste. Nice price :)

Thank you Debik. This is helpful.

May I ask, where did you get the glass bellcaps and the peek insulator? Links?

I got both at Sweet-Vapes. The glass bellcaps are very pretty, but I have a couple of issues with them. The glass cap fits over the metal bottom using only an o-ring, no screw threads. It's fine for around the house, but I put my vape in my pocket a lot. (taking care of chickens, gardening, etc) I worry it would pop off. Secondly, the drip tip. It's a special one. No tips I have would fit. I did finally get an o-ring the right thickness to make one of my other types working with it. They don't sell the tips separately. I do like them, but they are put away for emergency use.

As I posted earlier, I was slow N steady with my stocking up. When I bought the bell caps and 3 STM bases at SV, I had enough money to throw ONE peek insulator in with my order. Figured I would get more later. They don't sell them anymore. :(
