You know, I remember Yaeliq from about 3 years ago? Never got around to ordering from them. But, bookmarked, and I will be looking through their offerings tomorrow. They don't do flavorings looks like? Regardless, looks like an order is in order:D

Thanks for the tip!

They also have 'Boosters" to increase the flavor, say if you were to go 100vg - fyi. :)

Been in this for 3 years and never owned a mech mod... kind of a combination of "Why take the extra risk when I want to be able to adjust." Now you guys have me thinking... maybe I should pick one or two up for long term? Or maybe just a Provari... seams to be about as good and still adjustable.

*Waits for the enablers to recommend getting both*

I have never used a mech mod- never even considered it. I did pick up a few Nemesis mods (Hcigar) for dark days. Really pretty they are. I may even get up the nerve to try one sooner rather than later. I picked up a Reo Grand from the classifieds as well. I'm thinking that will be the first mech mod I try. It seems friendlier than those cold, gleaming tubes, and I am more comfortable with the thought of using it.

I recommend getting safety fuses for the mechs (the Reo comes with a spring that will collapse in the event of a short).

Have you ordered from Yaeliq.com yet? I just put an order in for $255.00. Sale: $11.00 for 100ml and they go up to 24nic, which is me, too. I get 18 and 24, depending on where I'll be and what I'm doing, mod used, etc. I got an order from them in early June for $268.00. I've been mixing Vanilla Bean Ice Cream with a lot of fruit. Go fiture, I was a heavy menthol smoker for 45 years. They have unicorns, dropper tops for the big bottles and other useful vaper gear. (I hope a pitch is allowed here.)
Yes, I just received an order from them. I am super impressed at only spending $10 on shipping all the way from Israel and got it faster than anything else I have bought overseas. Placed the order on July 1 and received it on July 9.

Not sure what happens that has 2016 vapers scared of mechs but when they were fashionable a couple years ago we were surviving then at alarming rates.

I agree! Back when I started, it was cigalike, Ego, or mech. With reasonable care, a mech is no big deal. But I'm a tootle puffer from way back when. I'm not pushing batteries to the limit.

Oh a couple factors came into play like B&M's would push them without any proper knowledge of how to use them and of course the Darwin principal with the "Clouds Bro" crowd. So Mech's got a bad reputation

If it were me. I would get nicotine while the getting is good.

Then get a few backup attys and mods. Lastly flavors for eJuice.

8/8/2016 nicotine is labeled a tobacco product and sone States will be taxing like crazy, and some States prohibit buying on internet.

Get an eJuice calculator such as Ejuice me up, and play with it for a few weeks till you understand it.

You said yoy have coil heads to last a year. start DIYing Juice.

Later learn rebuilding and how to wick the coils

The hardest part of rebuilding is wicking.

Too tight and you get burned hits. Too loose it pops and spits.

Here is how i wick. You want the wick tight but still able to slide

When the cotton is saturated the cotton will expand filling the coil perfectly.

If you have the cotton super tight it will not have room to wick properly.

    Good luck.
Thanks for the help and advice. LOL....I have this vision a year from now, summer of 17- masses posting "How do we know if our year old nic is still good?"

Most keep the nic in the freezer.

One member here tested nicotine after being in the freezer for 6 years.

The longest i ever kept nic was two years.

I went 0 nic last December.

I have 3 year old nic that is clear as the day I bought it. I have zero worries about 10 years.

The beauty if nic is it can only do 1 thing to degrade (oxidation) and it's easy to tell when it does (starts yellowing then browning). Oxidized nic has a flavor of its own and it's pretty good imo. Resident chemist Kurt has a strong hypothesis that even if nic were to react with all oxygen available in a properly stored bottle it would only lose 5mg in strength. Keep nic cold and away from sunlight and it hibernates quite well.

Which has always surprised me cause I dont know why people think clouds can only be achieved with mechs.....like coils & juice have nothing to do with that equation.
Agree, same with thinking that they have to build stupid low like 0.04.

I used to be perfectly happy vaping on regulated Mod's and buying stock coils. Didn't have any desire to build and said never ever would I mess with Mech's. Well the government changed all that. Pretty much all I use these days are mechs, build my own and spin my own Clapton's. Have all I need to make my own juice also, again thanks to government. But I digress.

Anyway a good build on a decent mech you can seriously chuck insane clouds well within the safe amps of your batteries (around 18-20 amps). The same goes for Regulated mods.

May I ask where you got the lemo drop glass?

I just bought short stops and kicks for my mech's, gives me a little extra safety since I am new to building coils etc. I will use my regulated tho for as long as they survive :)
If you vape under 15 watts kicks work but from what I have seen they're not all that reliable.

IMO while your regulated Mod's work you should start building now. Get some experience building while they're working now then after you know and are experienced builder you can start with Mech's. Really the last thing you should do is jump into them with no experience and no option other option and/or resources.

Mech's are perfectly safe "if" you know what you're doing. Regulated Mod's you put your safety in a computer chip, mechs YOU are responsible for your own safety. There are a few simple rules but very important rules. Follow them and you're perfectly safe.
