Follow them and you're perfectly safe.
But, to many want to push it up one more level...

Agree completely. If you vape under 15 watts kicks work but from what I have seen they're not all that reliable.
IMO while your regulated mod's work you should start building now. Get some experience building while they're working now then after you know and are experienced builder you can start with Mech's. Really the last thing you should do is jump into them with no experience and no option other option and/or resources.
Mech's are perfectly safe "if" you know what you're doing. Regulated mod's you put your safety in a computer chip, mechs YOU are responsible for your own safety. There are a few simple rules but very important rules. Follow them and you're perfectly safe.

Fasttech has them.I have 5 from them already, and getting ready to order the 15 pack for $11.19.May I ask where you got the lemo drop glass?
Not sure what happens that has 2016 vapers scared of mechs but when they were fashionable a couple years ago we were surviving then at alarming rates.

No steep learning curve, they're very simple but you just have to follow the very simple but important rules. Their simple purity is why they provide an outstanding vape.Agree completely.
Mechs have a Steel learning curve, and you can get hurt if you do something stupid.
It's the "Clouds Bro" idiots, Darwin rules applyBut, to many want to push it up one more level...
Yep, search worked. On the wish list for next order. Thanks b.m.!Thanks b.m. Search for Lemo glass?
A LOT steeper than a regulated mod.No steep learning curve, they're very simple but you just have to follow the very simple but important rules. Their simple purity is why they provide an outstanding vape.

A LOT steeper? Yikes! I need to get rid of mine. I don't don't do TC and no WAY will I use a mech...at least that large. The 4 I have are quite beautiful. Perfect fit for a 18650. But if you're saying even those could blow up in my face, on the market they go. Damn, and color coordinated them too. :-(
Yes.
You need to understand how many amps the battery can provide.
You have to examine the 510 PIN to see if the PIN extends well past the threads. On a hybrid mech where the Atty sits directly om the battery. If the positive PIN and negative threads BOTH touch the battery you have a dead short that WILL lead to either venting or explosion
You have to know the coil resistance and do the calculation according to ohms law to see how many amps you are pulling from the battery.
A regulated mod of a mech with a 510 threads and the connecion that isnt wide enough to contact the negative threads are a thousand times safer.
Ah! One more thing. I have over 6,000ml of ejuice. I'd like to begin storing it in our extra frig (lower bins). I'll be learning DIY as well and know I can freeze some of it. What's the rule(s) on storing? Thanks.
Disagree, the menu system on mods can be very confusing. Mech, just push the button and vape.A LOT steeper than a regulated mod.
Brother lets agree to disagree.Disagree, the menu system on mods can be very confusing. Mech, just push the button and vape.
