If you think about it, the less freedom - the less vaping. examples: Egypt and Singapore, two very different dictatorships, ban e-Cigs. Israel and US, democracies, allow it, and China, an oligarchy, prefers its citizens to keep buying poison rather than ecigs.

Nicotine in moderate use is a medicine (Froid, Einstein, my professors - all nic'd, research shows it protects neural cells (see links), and its sometimes the only thing preventing ppl from killing themselves) , yet the governments allow criminal corporations to bind it to a poisonous delivery system because its easy cheap and taxable.

This is a water shed moment for all free man and woman. Thank god for free press, its getting harder to get away with in free countries. God Bless the USA.

Shoutout to Leonardo DeCaprio : We appreciate your stance against PC and hypocrisy, you got a new fan.
(sorry Dreyfus I still think you suck :)).

Disclaimer:
Overdose of nicotine, whe ther by touch (nicotine goes through the skin), or by ingestion (lets say someone swallows a few ml of eliquid) CAN KILL you, and poses a life threatning danger to small children.
As with everything dosage is the key so don't go get nic'd up - ending in the ER, drink and vape responsibly and in moderation.

you'd think celebrities could afford better PVs
I've gotta agree with that. My thought while watching the Golden Globes was where's the .....ing about vaping inside? I pointed out to the wife that I'd spotted one gal in the audience vaping.

I've never really given a darn about celebraties hawking anything but I do tend to appreciate it when I see them vaping publicly.

.....ing the right definition for what they do. But the bright side is that Leatherman, CNN anchors and many "Tested" ecigaretts in the studio. they did not state support for fear of the PC police, but made a statement by their actions instead.
Believe me I am no fan boy and never a damn damn about any celeb, but this is the game of public opinion and many look up to these guys foe some reason.

When election time comes around VOTE AGAINST these political prostitutes: The letter was co-signed by four Democratic senators- .... Durbin from Illinois, Richard Blumenthal from Connecticut, Ed Markey from Massachusetts and Sherrod Brown from Ohio.

Sticking there collective noses into that which they know nothing about; it's the Democratic way - PEOPLE CONTROL. They spy on us and then lie and say, "Oh no -it's unacceptable" and fools believe them and come election time vote 'em right back in office. Until people wake up this garbage will continue to spew forth from the same garbage-producers who have screwed up everything else.

How's that Affordable Care Act workin' for ya folks? Totally screwed up and given the chance they'll screw up life saving devices in favor of contributions from those who benefit the most; their pals in big business who "contributed them into office"!

Savoir-Faire is everywhere!
I highly doubt celebrities have the time to be surfing the internet researching what all gear is out there for vaping. They likely only get what they're introduced to.

If I weren't constantly plugged into the internet I doubt I'd know much about what's out there, either. I didn't even realize it was a "thing" until a neighbor popped up with one.

I think that most celebs' choice of vaping equipment has more to do with e-cigarette manufacturers giving these to celebs for free advertising. After all, if Leo's tootin' that brand then it must be cool, right?..... Bottom line, if celebs can help make vaping more acceptable to the public, regardless of how primitive more experienced vapers think their equipment is, that's a good thing in my book.

I agree with you EvilZoe, if not for me stumbling upon ECF, I would have no idea of the array of vaping equipment that's available. Shoot, when I first started vaping I didn't even know that you could buy blank cartomizers and e liquid to fill them with to use with those cig a like batteries!

in between the ice ages
just read the blurb on the Senators writing letters to downplay Vaping on TV... wonder when the are going to prohibit old films ( CasaBlanca etc) from being shown on TV due to smoking....
Just have to give an "R" rating to films that do not toe the party line! Amount of money lost to a film maker between a PG-13 (excessive violence/words/brief nudity/non-tobacco drug use) versus an R rating (brief use of a 'tobacco' product) is probably quite a bit.
That and they'll excise/blur scenes with tobacco use in them. When is the last time you saw a pic of Churchill with a cigar or Santa Claus with a pipe?

I don't think they have anything but time, not having any of the daily responsibilities we mortals have (cleaning, cooking, child care, 9-5 jobs ...).
I think they keep a low profile because their income depends on their reputation.
